What do you dislike about apisec.ai?

Would like to have small description as to how to acquire the details required for authentication based on different types of authentication , as users who are new to the field might be the ones to primarily use the application and they might not have enough experience to understand what is required for authentication that they might need to acquire from application teams Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Smooth UX, Deep API Coverage"
4.5/5
What do you like best about apisec.ai?

I recently tried out the API automated scanner from apisec.ai and the experience was smooth and efficient right from the start. The user interface is clean, intuitive, and beginner-friendly, making it easy to start without requiring extensive setup or configuration. There is No need for a complex integration process; just upload the API specs file or the URL, and you are good to go.

What really stood out to me was the large number of security tests it runs on a single API. It covers a wide range of vulnerabilities with impressive depth and breadth — far more than what I’ve seen in many other tools.

This level of automated coverage saves a lot of manual effort and gives you solid confidence in the security posture of your APIs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about apisec.ai?

As of now, I haven’t come across anything to dislike. The experience has been smooth, and everything has worked as expected. If anything changes as I continue exploring, I’ll be sure to update, but so far, it’s been great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Navigation and usage are easy & seamless; video guide was enough to get started. output is detailed."
5/5
What do you like best about apisec.ai?

I am impressed with APIsec.ai because it offers advanced AI-powered scanning that efficiently identifies vulnerabilities, comprehensive coverage aligned with OWASP standards, and a user-friendly interface that makes it easy to set up and interpret results. Implementation and integration were quite easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about apisec.ai?

so far, nothing... The only point I experienced a bottleneck was my first trial, getting my application onboarded, where I had to provide a source to import my application. It would be nice if the source could be automatically detected. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"In-Depth Analysis: How APIsec.ai Enhances API Security Testing"
4/5
What do you like best about apisec.ai?

APIsec.ai is a comprehensive, AI-powered platform designed to automate API security testing throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC). It offers several standout features that make it particularly valuable for organizations aiming to proactively secure their APIs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about apisec.ai?

While APIsec.ai offers robust automated API security testing, some users have highlighted areas for improvement.

One common concern is the learning curve associated with the platform. Some users find the extensive features overwhelming initially. Enhanced onboarding guides could ease the learning process.

Another reported limitation is related to error handling and documentation clarity. Instances where users struggled with OpenAPI specifications suggest a need for clearer error messages and more intuitive documentation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simplifying automated and authenticated API security scans"

What do you like best about apisec.ai?

It is having super clean UI, easy to follow and setup the search base for the apis. The main component of this tool I found was it tells you exactly what API parameters you need if APIs are not being scanned. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about apisec.ai?

It should have auto picked the BOLA related test cases from the schema, rest, everything is nice and super useful Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fantastic, powerful and very intuitive tool for API security"
5/5
What do you like best about apisec.ai?

The initial setup is very simple and intuitive and there is great support from the vendor during initial use in the form of educaktional materails. Vulnerabilities and misconfigurations found by this tool give me more than enough information to know ho to proceed further with remediation. APIsec scanner provides top-tier dashboards and easy dashboard customization which quickly surfaces critical risks.

With this tool, vulnerabilities are found in a very short period of time, which would have been done manually for a very long time (or never). Areas covered here include OWASP API TOP 10, Authentication, Misconfigurations, Business Logic Testing (this is great) and many others.

Overall, this is a very well thought out platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about apisec.ai?

I honestly have not found anything I dislike yet Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
