"Delivers What It Promises: Easy MCP Integration and Accessible Documentation"
5/5
What do you like best about Apify?

It just does whats promised, for using the actors, integrating over mcp, documentations for easy access and learning, all does its best, i would say actors publised few sometimes feel below average or doesnt work, i would say more better modertation is needed or the team themself being among the contributors in building their own to show really makes impact i can say Yes it was completely worth it Yes it was completely worth it Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apify?

The quality of actors are sometimes not that great, need to have better actors or support Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best-in-Class Developer Experience and Support on the Apify Store"
5/5
What do you like best about Apify?

I publish my own automation tools (Actors) on the Apify Store, and the developer experience is the best I've seen on a marketplace of this kind. Support is genuinely effective — real humans who solve the problem, and they even proactively doubled my daily publishing limit when I asked. The documentation walks you through every step of the process clearly, and their YouTube channel is full of best-practice walkthroughs whenever something is unclear. Scheduling, monitoring, proxies and MCP integration work out of the box. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apify?

Honestly, very little. As a seller I would love richer earnings analytics in the API (today the detailed monetization numbers live only in the Console UI), and new accounts have a daily cap on how many Actors you can publish — though support raised mine quickly when I asked. Neither has stopped me from shipping. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Apify Delivers a Fantastic Developer Experience with a Rich Actor Ecosystem"
5/5
What do you like best about Apify?

What I like best about Apify is the overall developer experience. The platform has excellent documentation, a very good CLI, strong MCP support, and a huge ecosystem of ready-made Actors and integrations. It makes building scraping and automation workflows much faster compared to doing everything manually.

I also like how easy it is to experiment and build creative projects on Apify. The platform is flexible enough for both simple monitoring tasks and larger automation workflows. On top of that, the community and developer events around Apify are very active and helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apify?

One thing I dislike about Apify is the way Actor earnings and negative balances are handled for developers. Sometimes if one Actor goes into negative profit, it can affect overall earnings for a long time before adjustments are processed. I would prefer a shorter settlement cycle, like weekly instead of monthly.

Another issue is that some community Actors can vary in quality and reliability, so it occasionally takes time to find the best solution for a specific use case. Better discovery and quality ranking for Actors would improve the experience further. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Apify Is a Game-Changer for Automation: Huge Actor Store, Seamless API, Strong Performance"
5/5
What do you like best about Apify?

The Apify Store is a game-changer — thousands of ready-made actors mean I rarely have to build scrapers from scratch. The API integrates seamlessly into my n8n automation workflows, and the new MCP server support lets AI agents access scraping tools directly, which saves hours of manual work every week. Performance on large crawling jobs is consistently solid, and the documentation is thorough enough that onboarding is straightforward even for complex use cases. The AI/intelligence direction Apify is heading — especially with the MCP integration — makes it one of the most forward-thinking platforms in the automation space. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apify?

The pricing model can become costly quickly once you scale up — compute unit consumption adds up faster than expected, and there's no very affordable middle tier between the free plan and the paid options. This makes it harder to justify for smaller projects or budget-conscious teams. The UI could also be more intuitive; navigating between actors, runs, storage, and settings feels a bit fragmented at times, especially for new users. A cleaner dashboard overview and more granular cost monitoring per workflow would go a long way in improving the overall experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Clean Instagram Scraping and Seamless Automation with Apify CLI & API"
5/5
What do you like best about Apify?

Two things. First, the actor quality — the Instagram scraper returns clean, structured JSON with post metadata and media URLs that I feed directly into client content research. No broken fields, no half-scraped pages. Second, the automation story: the Apify CLI and API are excellent. I trigger runs from scripts, fetch datasets programmatically, and it slots into an agentic/automated workflow without friction Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apify?

Some actors (like X/Twitter scrapers) aren't available on the free plan, so you need to upgrade for full platform coverage. Understandable, but worth knowing upfront. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Apify Makes Content Scraping Simple, Affordable, and Reliable"
5/5
What do you like best about Apify?

I love Apify for content scraping and skip tracing. It has an incredibly simple user interface, along with a ton of prebuilt scraping tools to help you find the data and content you need. It’s also extremely affordable, and the support is great whenever you need it. I’d highly recommend it to any SaaS builder, vibe coder, or small business owner who needs quality data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apify?

Apify is great overall, but I’ve noticed that some of the actors seem duplicated. That can be a bit confusing when I’m trying to figure out which one to use, and why there are multiple versions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Good for recurring scraping, but takes time to learn"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Apify?

The best part is that most of the scraping infrastructure is already handled. I can configure an Actor, schedule it, store the output in a dataset and connect the results to another system without setting up separate servers. For recurring work such as price checks, competitor monitoring and collecting public business data, this saves a lot of routine maintenance. The API is straightforward, and the ready-made Actors are useful when I need to test an idea quickly before building something custom. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apify?

The learning curve is the main downside. There are many settings around proxies, storage, request handling and compute usage, so the first stable workflow took some trial and error. When a site changes or blocks requests, the logs help, but finding the exact cause can still take time. I would also like clearer cost estimates before a large run, especially for proxy traffic and compute units. Better troubleshooting guidance and a simple pre-run cost forecast would make the platform easier for new users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great Scraping with Affordable Pricing but You Have to Do Some Trial and Error"
4/5
What do you like best about Apify?

The thing I like the most about Apify is that it's not just a tool, it's a proper community platform. Anyone can build their own actors and anyone can use them, which means theres almost always an actor available for whatever you want to scrape. The scrapers are really good and I've been able to get data that I genuinely didn't think was possible to pull without hiring a developer. The pricing is also not that bad compared to other tools in this space and on top of that they give you $5 free credits every month which is a nice bonus, it covers small tasks comfortably. For what it does, I really like it and find great value in Apify.

P.S. The UI is interesting, like it's easy and complex at the same time. It looks a bit complex but you can figure it all out in 5-10 mins. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apify?

There's just one thing I dislike about Apify which is that the quality of actors varies a lot depending on the developer who built them. So I always have to spend some time finding the right actor/scraper for what I want to do and then test one or two before I can actually start using one. Sometimes an actor looks great in documentation and then the results are off, or it breaks on certain websites. Also the pricing per actor can vary depending on who built it, so its not always predictable. You kind of have to do some test runs and keep a budget aside for that which is a bit annoying when your trying to move fast. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Prospecting with Apify"
5/5
What do you like best about Apify?

It's a great service that can reach where others can't. I use it to gather information about new investments from industry news sites. Many of them have built-in protections against bots reading their news. I've automated the whole lead-finding process on a virtual server, so thanks to Apify I can automatically read and process the best sources of information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apify?

I did not find something bad in Apify services. All looks good for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
