"The most reliable web scraping platform on the cloud"
5/5
What do you like best about Apify?

The absolute best thing is their massive library of pre-built "Actors". Instead of wasting time writing custom scrapers from scratch and fighting IP blocks, you just pick an Actor from their store, plug in your target URLs or keywords, and get clean, structured data back in seconds. Also, their built-in proxy management is top-notch and handles all the heavy lifting behind the scenes seamlessly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apify?

There isn't much to dislike, but the platform's dashboard can be a bit overwhelming at first for complete beginners. It takes a little bit of time to understand how the credit system and compute units are consumed by different scripts, though their documentation is very good and helps you figure it out quickly. "Great tool for web scraping automation"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Apify?

Apify has a clean and functional UI/UX that makes it easy to manage scraping tasks, especially through its dashboard and prebuilt Actors. While beginners may need some time to understand the workflow, the overall experience is well structured.

In terms of integrations, Apify works well with APIs, webhooks, and external tools, making it easy to connect data pipelines or export results to other systems.

Performance is generally strong, even for larger scraping jobs, and the cloud infrastructure handles scaling without requiring manual setup.

From a pricing and ROI perspective, it is reasonable considering the time saved from not having to build and maintain scrapers from scratch. It is especially valuable for teams that rely heavily on data extraction.

Support and onboarding are helpful, with documentation and examples that make it easier to get started. However, advanced use cases may still require some technical learning.

For AI / intelligence features, Apify is not primarily an AI tool, but it can be combined with AI workflows when processing scraped data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apify?

While Apify is a powerful platform, there are a few areas that could be improved. The learning curve can be steep for beginners, especially when working with custom Actors or advanced configurations. Some users may need time to fully understand the workflow and platform structure.

In terms of UI/UX, the interface is generally clean, but managing multiple complex scraping tasks can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially when handling many Actors at once.

It would also be helpful to have more beginner-friendly guides or simplified templates for common use cases to reduce setup time.

Overall, these are not major issues, but improving onboarding and simplifying some advanced workflows would make the platform even more accessible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly Automation with Seamless Social Media Scraping at Scale"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Apify?

Apify is very user friendly tool, and it has all the essentials to perform a automation on the fly

Like How easily it handles social media profile scraping for influencer marketing automation. Pulling creator data, follower counts, and engagement metrics at scale usually means dealing with constant IP blocks and broken scripts, but Apify’s pre-built Actors and built-in proxy rotation handle all the heavy lifting seamlessly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apify?

Calculating exactly how many compute credits a large profile-scraping run will consume takes a bit of trial and error until you get used to monitoring the usage logs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful, flexible and just works"
5/5
What do you like best about Apify?

The combination of flexibility and reliability is what keeps me coming back. I can grab a ready-made actor from the marketplace and be collecting data within minutes, or build something fully custom when the use case demands it. Either way, the results are consistent and the output is clean and structured – ready to plug straight into my workflow without any cleanup. For someone running multiple automated pipelines across different sources, that kind of dependability is everything. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apify?

The learning curve when building custom actors can be steep if you're not comfortable with JavaScript or Python. It's not a dealbreaker, but newer users without a technical background might need some time to get past the basics. Better visual tooling or more guided templates for custom builds would make the platform accessible to a much wider audience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The scraping layer that makes my AI agents actually work"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Apify?

The Actor Store is what gets me every time. I remember when I first needed Instagram data for an AI agent I was building, I was ready to spend weeks coding a scraper from scratch, dealing with proxies, anti-bot systems, the whole headache. Then I found Apify, searched the Store, found exactly what I needed, configured it in maybe 20 minutes, and the data was flowing into my n8n pipeline.

That's the thing that really stuck with me. As a solo developer running multiple projects at the same time, I can't afford to waste time reinventing the wheel. Apify basically handed me enterprise-level scraping infrastructure without asking me to become an infrastructure engineer first. The reliability is also something I genuinely appreciate, once an Actor is running on a schedule, it just works. Clean output, consistent delivery, no surprises. That kind of dependability is rare and it's what keeps me coming back. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apify?

The pricing model is honestly the biggest friction point. There are two layers, platform credits and per-Actor costs on top of that, and when you're just starting out it's not immediately obvious how fast things can add up. I had a couple of runs that burned through credits faster than expected because I didn't fully understand how a specific Actor charged per result. A clearer cost estimator before you hit run would save a lot of headaches.

The UI also has room to grow. It's functional, but debugging a failed run takes more clicks than it should. When something breaks mid-pipeline, I want to know exactly what went wrong without having to dig through logs manually. Better inline error reporting would make a real difference for developers running Apify in production environments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Apify Makes Large-Scale Data Collection Fast, Reliable, and Easy to Manage"
5/5
What do you like best about Apify?

The biggest benefit for us has been the ability to automate large scale social media and web data collection without needing to constantly maintain custom scraping systems ourselves. We regularly use Apify for competitor monitoring, trend analysis, and collecting public engagement data, and it has reduced hours of manual research work each week.

The Apify Store is one of the strongest parts of the platform because many common scraping tasks already have ready made Actors available. Instead of building workflows from scratch, we can usually deploy and customise an existing Actor quite quickly. The scheduling system is reliable, data exports are straightforward, and integrating outputs into spreadsheets and reporting workflows is simple.

The interface is also much cleaner and easier to manage than many other scraping platforms we tested. Even for more advanced workflows, the dashboard makes it easy to monitor runs, troubleshoot issues, and manage datasets. Pricing can increase on larger projects, but for the amount of time it saves and the scale of data it allows us to collect, the ROI has been very good overall. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apify?

The only real downside we have found is that some community maintained Actors can occasionally break when websites change their layouts or anti bot protections. It is usually resolved quite quickly, but it does mean certain workflows sometimes need small adjustments or maintenance to keep them running smoothly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Apify’s Stable Actors Make Social Media Data Extraction Effortless"
5/5
What do you like best about Apify?

What I like most about Apify is its exceptional ability to handle complex data extraction from dynamic social media platforms like Facebook, LinkedIn, and X without constantly breaking.

Instead of dealing with the headache of changing web layouts and anti-scraping blocks yourself, Apify provides highly stable, ready-to-use "Actors" that deliver clean, structured data seamlessly. For anyone relying on real-time market research, the platform is a massive timesaver. It allows you to automate the tracking of competitor activity and consumer buying habits, turning raw web data into actionable business strategy effortlessly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apify?

What I dislike most is the steep initial learning curve and the technical complexity required to configure advanced settings.

While the pre-built "Actors" are powerful, navigating the interface and fine-tuning configurations can involve a lot of trial and error if you aren't a seasoned developer. Additionally, because social media platforms like Facebook and X constantly update their layouts and anti-scraping measures, you occasionally have to deal with unexpected actor failures or spend extra time adjusting settings to keep your data pipelines running smoothly. "Apify’s Smooth Workflows, Powerful Integrations, and Excellent Value"
5/5
What do you like best about Apify?

While the UI has a slight learning curve at first, getting past the onboarding is entirely worth it. Apify delivers exceptional performance, running complex workflows smoothly in the background without getting in the way. The integrations are its best feature: the pre-built automations and webhooks make it easy to feed clean data straight into our automation stack. The pricing also stands out—data gathering costs fractions of a penny, and the pricing structure lets us use and test with zero commitment. On top of that, it plays nicely with AI agents. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apify?

It is a bit overwhelming at first meaning that it does require some effort to learn how to use properly. It's well worth it though Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Apify’s Actor Marketplace Makes Lead Gen Easy and Reliable"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Apify?

What sets Apify apart is how much it puts in one place. The actor marketplace means you're rarely starting from scratch — whether you need LinkedIn contacts, Google Maps data, or social media insights, there's almost always a ready-built solution waiting. It's easy to use, competitively priced, and reliable enough to make it a core part of our lead generation stack. For a small team, that combination is hard to beat. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apify?

The main frustration is inconsistent actor quality. Since anyone can publish an actor, the standard varies quite a bit Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Great reliable API for Instagram scraping

Pros: Extremely fast response times, high data accuracy, and easy API integration. Works smoothly even for larger profile workloads.
