Apify is an incredibly powerful platform for web scraping and browser automation. The ready-made actors in the marketplace save enormous amounts of development time — I can scrape complex websites in minutes without writing custom code from scratch. The ability to schedule actors, chain them together in workflows, and export data directly to various integrations like Google Sheets or webhooks makes it a complete data extraction solution. The pricing can be a bit steep for smaller teams or individual developers who are just getting started. The learning curve for building custom actors from scratch is also somewhat steep if you're not familiar with Node.js or Python. Previously, this required hiring developers or buying expensive data vendors. Debugging failed runs can also take time, as logs are detailed but not always easy to interpret quickly.
