What do you like best about Apidog?

Apidog has completely streamlined our API development and testing workflows. What I appreciate most is how it combines API design, documentation, mock servers, and testing in a single, cohesive platform. It's like Postman, Swagger, and Insomnia had a brilliant, well-organized child.

The interface is clean and intuitive, making collaboration across our dev and QA teams seamless. The ability to generate and test APIs quickly, even before the backend is ready, has saved us hours of manual work. Automation of test cases and detailed reports are a huge plus for CI/CD integration.

Their support team is responsive and open to feedback, and updates roll out frequently with meaningful improvements. For teams looking to boost productivity and reduce friction in API lifecycle management, Apidog is an absolute gem.

What problems is Apidog solving and how is that benefiting you?

Apidog solves the major pain point of managing the full API lifecycle across multiple tools. Before using Apidog, we had to jump between Swagger for documentation, Postman for testing, and third-party mock servers — which was inefficient and error-prone. Apidog brings all of that into one platform.

This centralization saves us a lot of time, reduces communication gaps between developers and QA, and ensures consistency between the documented API and the actual implementation. With its built-in mock server, we can start frontend development before the backend is fully ready. The automated testing and validation also help us catch issues earlier in the dev cycle, which improves our release speed and code quality.

"Great Database Integration and API Management, Minor UI Frustrations"

What do you like best about Apidog?

What I appreciate most about Apidog is the ability to connect directly to the database. I also find it very useful that I can create test cases for each API individually. Originally, we were looking for a tool to publish the API docs of our REST API—and Apidog instantly impressed us with its clean, professional documentation layout. The pricing model was also very attractive compared to alternatives. But what truly amazed us was discovering that Apidog goes far beyond documentation: it offers a full-featured Postman replacement. We now use it to make API requests and collaborate as a team on API development. One standout feature is the support for sharing LLM-specific information, which helps make our API more consumable by AI tools—something that feels quite forward-looking.
