What do you like best about Apache Tez?

Speed is the number one thing I found to be most important. I found it having much better improvement over MR. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apache Tez?

Sometimes I found if I used Tez on Hive queries on certain S3 backed tables using a standard serde like 'org.apache.hadoop.hive.serde2.lazy.LazySimpleSerDe' or 'com.bizo.hive.serde.csv.CSVSerde' I would receive Hadoop error. I changed to MapReduce execution engine and it would work. Not sure why this happens. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
