Apache XML Security for Java has been released in a new major version of the library that contains a change in the jakarta JAXB namespace for the streaming library, it is the last planned version of 2.1.x. **What do you dislike about Apache Santuario?** The APIs were present in version 2.1.4, but disappeared in 2.2.0. Use Maven plugins like JApiCmp to avoid this type of problem, but I had great difficulties in the application. **Recommendations to others considering Apache Santuario:** I am happy to use Xalan. Any downstream project of Santuario will pick up Xalan in the classpath. **What problems is Apache Santuario solving and how is that benefiting you?** According to what I need on a daily basis, I have to use only the algorithms. I don't need to use any Canonical Algol and Second Transformation Algol. That helps with changes and comments in some code classes. ### 3. It is available as library so easy to use with Java and c++ project. **What do you dislike about Apache Santuario?** The only negative point of this library is that it is not available for all languages like python . Stax based streaming feature only available in 2.0.0 release. **What problems is Apache Santuario solving and how is that benefiting you?** The Java signature api uses in memory implementation which make it so fast and quick. ### 4. The updates are great as well.
