**What do you like best about Apache ORC?**

Apache ORC promises to deliver quite a few objectives and acheives them as well to a point. We used this with multiple tools and overall results were okay. It can be made better though.

**What do you dislike about Apache ORC?**

Overall usability needs to improve. I think the entire system needs to be rethought of when it comes to making this product better. Our business requirements were hardly fulfilled.

**Recommendations to others considering Apache ORC:**

There are better options available in market, explore them first.

**What problems is Apache ORC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our business objectives were to reduce costs while enhancing productivity. Though in some fields productivity did increase but cocts went up rather than going down.
