Who handles all the data in his organization. With the help of Apache OODT it is easy to handle large volume of data and datasets. We can also customize according to the user specific needs and easy to integrate within existing system. The best thing you can get this software with zero cost. **What do you dislike about Apache OODT?** It's new to me so I get challenges to understand his features so i can us it effectively. Also we have to invest more in multi core processors or in clusters. We have to invest also in Apache TOMCAT. So we can use it property. **What problems is Apache OODT solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's enables user to to customize Apache OODT according to their need. It helps in managing a large amount of data. It is used to support capturing, processing and sharing of data for NASA scientists. It provides File Manager, Work Flow Manager and Resource Manager. **What do you dislike about Apache OODT?** It uses XML configuration, which can be a bit complex. It uses Java as a background language which is hard for the user who does not have Java knowledge. Removes duplicate files. crawler detects if file was not ingested. Very scalable solution and distribuited. **What do you dislike about Apache OODT?** steep learning curve if you don't have a java background. XML for configuration, this could be not so good for a python developer **Recommendations to others considering Apache OODT:** If you are usign java you should consider using OODT.
