Developers find their task way more productive and do not have to spend much time on relational DB. Someone with very basic SQL knowledge can create wonders with this tool. I really like the object-relational handling in the tool **What do you dislike about Apache Cayenne?** We need to work on it initially and understand the backend process, after that everything is a cakewalk. The interface is a little tricky and loading time is sometimes more, apart from that all is good. **What problems is Apache Cayenne solving and how is that benefiting you?** it has helped us in many ways like we don't have to work on functional relationship management of the contracts type, it directly feeds the data. It also provides a robust code and so many test cases. **What do you dislike about Apache Cayenne?** Although it has a community where we can find our solutions but not always because the community isn't that large due to its less number of users so finding the documentation is not easy. **What problems is Apache Cayenne solving and how is that benefiting you?** Apache Cayenne provides us the code which can validate the data, is easy to write and also ensure that passwords have enough characters. And also we don't require any knowledge of SQL for this. ### 7. Time and Effort saving. **What do you dislike about Apache Cayenne?** One major issue which we faced with Cayenne is that it's not that good at handling databases without primary keys or non-integer primary keys. So if you have a non-indexed DB schema, Cayenne will have difficulty returning entries. **What problems is Apache Cayenne solving and how is that benefiting you?** With the implementation of SQLTemplates, an inbuilt super feature by Cayenne we saw a performance improvement which was unmatchable. Performance optimization is done superbly with the help of SQLTemplate. Another thing is the community support with Cayenne. It is just phenomenal. ### 9. Java Objects is directly accessible by Database and it stores data base directly into it. Also, its Object-Relational model is pretty good and handy at the same time. The database mapping is quite good, and Cayenne API is good to know thing for sure. Also, you should not require any specific knowledge on SQL. **What do you dislike about Apache Cayenne?** Well, its quite complicated and hard to understand everything in short time. You have to give this a more time to better understand. Also, the user interface could be more easier to understand and locate the objects correctly. **Recommendations to others considering Apache Cayenne:** Well, if you user of this then you should have this and mapping of database is quite good. Overall this is the software you should consider on priority for sure. **What problems is Apache Cayenne solving and how is that benefiting you?** Firstly the mapping to java objects, second is working with Object-Relational model is a different experience. Along with this it works well for java and non java both users. Well, I don't have any knowledge on SQL but this framework helped me to work on the projects without the help of SQL. ### 15.
