What problems is Apache Aurora solving and how is that benefiting you?

've been using Apache Aurora for quite some time in our organization, and I must say, it's been quite a game-changer for us. Here's a rundown of why I find it compelling:

Unparalleled Fault Tolerance: Aurora stands out with its auto-restart for failed tasks. No more late-night panic sessions when a node fails; Aurora's got our back.

"Powerful Open-Source Mesos Framework"

4.5/5

What do you like best about Apache Aurora?

I have used various workflow management tools and job schedulers like Marathon, YARN Hadoop. Still, I like using Apache Aurora the most due to its capability to do the heavy lifting for workflows. It can manage resources and resolve dependencies. One can do required configuration management at lower levels also. It helps in doing complex tasks quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apache Aurora?

It is not suitable for small projects having a small infrastructure. And it has a good level of a learning curve to have good hands-on in it. It is best for big projects with a good number of users and cron jobs but not for small projects with fewer use cases for background jobs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Apache Aurora solving and how is that benefiting you?

Apache Aurora is helping DevOps administrators to manage extensive infrastructure smoothly, schedule cron jobs, and manage complex workflows.

We can scale our application to any number of users and manage resources individually.

The best feature of Apache Aurora I like is its capability to allow multiple users to deploy services. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
