AO docs allow you to easily maintain a "workplace-wide" database/file explorer that is easily accessible through your Google Drive account. In our case, it is campus-wide and allows everyone on campus to easily maintain access to their documents and projects from anywhere; while allowing for appropriate user permissions. The best part for me is its synchronicity to my "Finder" on my Mac so I can access my Google Drive files like you access any other file from the computer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It does not allow you to have a working document without "pulling it down" from the cloud and "saving and uploading" the newer version. So if you don't save it properly, or if someone else is accessing the document at the same time, they will not see your changes, or even be made aware that there may be another version currently being checked out in another location. Admin, thanks for highlighting that AODocs gives you a sure-fire way to back up all of your files. We’d like to better understand your concerns around working documents - something seems off. Can you email Support@AODocs.com with additional detail so we can better assist?
