Aweful Support." 3.5/5 What do you like best about Antidote? Errors are categorized into multiple types (spelling, typography, and style) and the reason for error is detailed - allowing the writer to assess the necessary correction to make. Running locally on my computer and paying one-time for a lifetime license are huge benefits. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Antidote? The software is french made, which isn't a usual cause for disdain, but there are multiple software prompts in French and no settings adjustments for the language error. When I brought the issue to their support, the only response was that a later update would hopefully fix the problem. On top of that, help was hidden amongst a sea of links, and when I did finally submit a request, there wasn't a reply for over a week. Finally, the functionality isn't always there. For example, corrections don't automatically show, such as the popular Grammarly actively checks for errors. Instead, I have to highlight the text that needs to be checked, and patiently wait for the corrector to pick up the text, if it opens at all.... Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. You can type freely without any concern and then quickly check, understand and correct any mistakes. I personally like its feature of filtering & grouping of mistakes with different color coding.
