Good Product. Weird Computer Connectivity. Aweful Support. **Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Benjamin M. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2022 **What do you like best about Antidote?** Errors are categorized into multiple types (spelling, typography, and style) and the reason for error is detailed - allowing the writer to assess the necessary correction to make. Running locally on my computer and paying one-time for a lifetime license are huge benefits. **What do you dislike about Antidote?** The software is french made, which isn't a usual cause for disdain, but there are multiple software prompts in French and no settings adjustments for the language error. When I brought the issue to their support, the only response was that a later update would hopefully fix the problem. On top of that, help was hidden amongst a sea of links, and when I did finally submit a request, there wasn't a reply for over a week. Finally, the functionality isn't always there. For example, corrections don't automatically show, such as the popular Grammarly actively checks for errors. Instead, I have to highlight the text that needs to be checked, and patiently wait for the corrector to pick up the text, if it opens at all.... **What problems is Antidote solving and how is that benefiting you?** In-depth typographical regocognition. ### 2. I personally like its feature of filtering & grouping of mistakes with different color coding. It also helps in improving my typing by analyzing the most commonly done mistakes. **What do you dislike about Antidote?** The only feature I didn't like is the transition effect as sometimes it takes a load on my office computer. **What problems is Antidote solving and how is that benefiting you?** I have been using it as a spelling, punctuation & syntax correction tool for doing the office stuff like report making, mails, etc. ### 3.
