"Best Multi-Physics simulation software"
5/5
What do you like best about Ansys Mechanical?

The best part is how we can collate different simulation or geometry models and prepare a simulation model tree. It has a very user-friendly User interface when compared to other MSC software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ansys Mechanical?

Sometimes linking files or preparing files to use in a different software it causes issues or maybe it has, only for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Ansys - The multi purpose powerful FEA tool"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Ansys Mechanical?

Can solve very complicated simulations easily. Easy to use, having great flexibility & user can do a lot of customisation because of its UDF capabilities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ansys Mechanical?

Simulations required a lot of processing power & also more time. Not suitable for beginners because it requires a vast knowledge of mechanical engineering. Software is too expensive even every tool require a licence which makes it very expensive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Ansys- A user friendly meshing software for beginners"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Ansys Mechanical?

Even a simple component can be analysed and meshed properly under boundary conditions and the functions can be edited while running. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ansys Mechanical?

Major problem is the useage of CPU and ram. Meshing depends upon the hardware what you have Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great software for Simulation"
5/5
What do you like best about Ansys Mechanical?

Adaptive mesh does an outstanding job of meshing the geometry automatically which is a fantastic job for simulation engineer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ansys Mechanical?

During geometry refinement or correction, done automatically by Ansys inbuilt software, some features are removed which are necessary in part as well as Simulation. High system configuration are required to run ansys Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent FEA simulation software with an intuitive UI"
4/5
What do you like best about Ansys Mechanical?

The UI which makes the simulation setup process pretty self-explanatory. The integration with workbench is also very useful, giving the ability to combine mechanical with other ANSYS software Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ansys Mechanical?

The error reporting is not the best, sometimes the error messages the solver gives out are not particularly helpful for solving the issues, although this is true for a lot of solvers so is not surprising or easy to fix Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
