I have used both in ansys fluent and mechanical in Intel xeon workstation,eventhough it's a powerful workstation the solving of problems in fluent takes a good amount of time. The only drawback of ansys is, it requires a lot of computing power and it is necessary to have high-end computers to analyse or to perform simulation. The thing that I disliked at first about ANSYS Mechanical was the Interface. But then, when I got familiar, it was not that bad of an interface. And one more thing that I feel is that ANSYS should be giving some suggestions while entering the values and suggestions about the possible next steps to improve the user experience.
