Powerful for simulations, but not user-friendly **Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Industrial Automation | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** January 16, 2015 **What do you like best about Ansys Mechanical?** The simulations of stress analysis and heat transfer are very powerful and impressive. When the analysis is complete, the visualizations are easy to interpret. **What do you dislike about Ansys Mechanical?** I might have been using an old version (my university might have been cheap), but developing simulations in Ansys was a big pain. There is no "Edit > Undo" option, so if you made a mistake, you had to manually delete and retry. The interface was not user friendly. You really have to know what you're doing in order to be able to use this software effectively.
