As a general-purpose CFD software, Fluent can be used to model fluid flow, heat and mass transfer, chemical reactions, and more. Fluent offers a modern, user-friendly interface that streamlines the CFD process from pre- to post-processing within a single window workflow. Fluent is known for its advanced physics modeling capabilities, which include turbulence modeling, single and multiphase flows, combustion, battery modeling, fluid-structure interaction, and much more. Also known for its efficient HPC scaling, large models can easily be solved in Fluent on multiple processors on either CPU or GPU. Multiple solver options are available, including pressure-based and density-based CPU solvers to cover low-speed to hypersonic flows and a pressure-based native GPU solver.

## Ansys Fluent Reviews
  ### 1. This is very good tool for Fluid Analysis.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Manjunath Y. | Software Test Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 10, 2022

**What do you like best about Ansys Fluent?**

User-friendly Interface will make you use the tool quickly, and tool training time will be drastically reduced. Some of the inbuilt features make our life easy while using the tool.

**What do you dislike about Ansys Fluent?**

As it is a simulation software, this tool requires a high configuration like higher RAM and a better graphics system, which may not be cost-effective for students.

**What problems is Ansys Fluent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a company that provides engineering solutions on CAE and CFD; hence, fluid-related simulations and problem-solving are one of the main requirements we take care of. This is the best tool for such solutions, which helped us provide accurate answers and apt results for the problems.

  ### 2. Ansys fluent for centrifugal pumps

  ### 48. Flexible and well-known CFD software

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 20, 2019

**What do you like best about Ansys Fluent?**

ANSYS Fluent is a well-known CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) Software in the industry. It's using by wide-range of companies from automotive, aviation, defense, marine, agriculture, chemistry, ...etc. industries. It has a well oriented graphical user interface (GUI). You can easily set the type of CAE analses and boundary conditions. If you need a quick setup for your CAE case, you should use text user interface (TUI). You should write your commands into a text file and execute on the computing cluster. That's the easy way to run an analysis.

**What do you dislike about Ansys Fluent?**

It's sometimes unstable and hard to find the errors. Sometimes I spent much time and resource when I try to identify the problem. Another pain point is that some opitons are not included in Graphical User Interface. You can find these options from TUI. So sometimes you can struggle with Fluent.

**Recommendations to others considering Ansys Fluent:**

You should learn to use Text User Interface for a better experience.

**What problems is Ansys Fluent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Text User Interface is the best and efficient way to use Ansys Fluent. You can get better resutls like a physical test with Ansys Fluent if you choose the right wall-function and turbulance model. It has a highly better correlation then the other most used CFD softwares.

  ### 49. More visually and analysis the 3D strength of any model with small elements of blocks

**What do you like best about Ansys Fluent?**

I like the most 3D modeling with analysis the flow, strength, hardenibility , material of property all work.

**What do you dislike about Ansys Fluent?**

Advancement between process n moving product

**What problems is Ansys Fluent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Design of Pressure vessel analysis

  ### 50. A really good software

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2019

**What do you like best about Ansys Fluent?**

It is very versatile and user friendly. It is good for beginners as the codes already supplied are suitable for most application.

**What do you dislike about Ansys Fluent?**

Since the code is already written, the users must read the manuals to understand and select correct conditions to get valid results. For instance, choosing symmetry and such conditions must be done with proper knowledge of the case simulated.

**Recommendations to others considering Ansys Fluent:**

Download the manuals, they are very helpful.

**What problems is Ansys Fluent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have been simulating different models and after perfecting the models we can build the actual object. This saves extra cost of production and prototyping.
