**What do you like best about Ansys Aqwa?**

Ansys AQWA allows users to perform comprehensive hydrodynamic analysis, including the computation of wave loads, wave kinematics, motions of floating structures, and response amplitude operators (RAOs). This enables engineers to understand the behavior of marine structures under various environmental conditions. It offers capabilities for coupled analysis between the hydrodynamic model and structural model, which is crucial for assessing the dynamic response and structural integrity of offshore platforms, ships, and other marine structures. Ansys AQWA provides tools for simulating mooring systems, including dynamic analysis of mooring lines, anchor behavior, and vessel motions in moored conditions. This is essential for designing and optimizing mooring configurations for offshore installations. With the growing interest in offshore wind energy, Ansys AQWA offers features tailored for simulating the behavior of floating wind turbines and associated support structures. **What do you like best about Ansys Aqwa?**

Ansys aqwa is a dynamic tool used in conjunction with other ansys module to solve complex problems related with hydrodynamics, quite useful for researchers and industry engineers alike.

**What do you dislike about Ansys Aqwa?**

As with any ansys module, aqwa has its time for the learning curve. Although options are quite similar andhelp menu is quite efficient, mastery still takes time to handle various situations.

**Recommendations to others considering Ansys Aqwa:**

Highly customized software for engineering needs.

Finite element based models for various hydrodynamic as well as hydrostatic conditions are being analysed for research innovation as well as for various consultants.
