I like how efficient Anrok is and how low touch it is. You can have it running in the background, and it automatically calculates sales and the jurisdictions we've reached nexus in, then files on our behalf. It also notifies us when we're close to nexus and assists with the filing process. Anrok allows us to focus on the business and drive other initiatives without manually ensuring we're paying the correct sales taxes or registering in the correct jurisdictions. Occasionally, when I hit an error, I have to reload the page. It doesn’t happen often, but it’s still pretty annoying when it does. Also, during onboarding it can be hard to tell which option to select if you’re going through VDA or need filing immediately or a delayed registration, even though I registered for the jurisdiction platform. I find Anrok pretty intuitive, which makes it easier to use. The UI is pretty decent as well, which adds to the user-friendly experience. I really like the hands-off approach that Anrok provides for filing and remitting sales tax in so many different jurisdictions. I would say the customer service at Anrok is good, and the site is pretty easy to navigate. The tab setup on the left, specifically the dashboard and jurisdiction tabs, helps me navigate the site more easily. I also find it beneficial that I don't have to figure out and navigate how to register in the jurisdictions, and they provide face-to-face customer support, which is a step up from the email-only support I had with Textjar. I like that Anrok is mostly hands-off. You set it up once, hook it up to your billing workflow, and then you only need to do nice-to-have check-ins once in a while. registration process still heavily involves our input. if an email alias and a dedicated mailing space was set up for this so that Anrok team can manage everything related to sales tax registrations, that would help eliminate the admin hours on our backend. it appears competitors like Sphere are offering services I mentioned to further automative registration process so I'm hoping Anrok works on this as well. I like that Anrok plugs directly into Stripe and can automatically track the exposure we have in each jurisdiction. By integrating directly with Stripe, it means it can surface real-time tax exposure and completely automate the whole tax compliance journey for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I found it a little hard to set up at first because it's a complicated configuration between Stripe and Anrok. The time taken to set up was because it was quite complex to understand how Anrok should be interacting with our pricing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As a product, Anrok is mostly straightforward, and if you have any issues at all, they have an amazing support team. They're quick to respond, professional, and handle many state notices directly. It's also very easy to contact them! They also update their FAQ section regularly, with topical information regarding specific jurisdictions, which I've found very helpful.

The only issue I've ever had with Anrok is a delay on the new jurisdiction setup side. To be fair, there was an odd tech issue, but I would have appreciated a more timely follow up, as the issue was quickly solved by a call. Could have saved both of us some emailing!
