**What do you like best about Anrok?**

As a product, Anrok is mostly straightforward, and if you have any issues at all, they have an amazing support team. They're quick to respond, professional, and handle many state notices directly. It's also very easy to contact them! They also update their FAQ section regularly, with topical information regarding specific jurisdictions, which I've found very helpful.

The month to month of filing is super easy once your data is integrated, with very little input needed aside from review, or marking customers as tax exempt.

**What do you dislike about Anrok?**

The only issue I've ever had with Anrok is a delay on the new jurisdiction setup side. To be fair, there was an odd tech issue, but I would have appreciated a more timely follow up, as the issue was quickly solved by a call. Could have saved both of us some emailing!

Also, although Anrok is extremely straightforward to use with the typical month to month tasks, some more niche tasks will require getting more familiar with quirks of the site's user interface.

**What problems is Anrok solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Anrok handles state and city level sales tax, which is hugely beneficial, as every jurisdiction has their own deadlines, requirements, and rulings. Saves me from having to sink untold hours into learning the minutiae of tax laws across the US, then manually filing with each jurisdiction every month!

**What do you like best about Anrok?**

We've been using Anrok for our sales tax filing and compliance needs, and it's been a smooth experience overall. The integration with our existing systems (QuickBooks and Rippling) was straightforward, which made implementation much easier than anticipated. The platform itself is intuitive and user-friendly. Once everything was set up, the automation handled most of the heavy lifting, which has saved our team considerable time. The onboarding process was well-structured, and their customer service team was responsive when we had questions. If you're looking for a sales tax solution that integrates well with common business tools and doesn't require constant manual oversight, Anrok is worth considering. It does what it promises without unnecessary complexity.

**What do you dislike about Anrok?**

One minor quirk: when you void an invoice or transaction, the report shows the invoice amount as strikethrough but the tax liability still appears without the strikethrough. It doesn't affect the actual return filing, but it makes the reports look a bit odd and can be confusing at first glance.

Filing the tax returns and calculating the tax.  It's also tracking when we have nexus in a state.

**What do you like best about Anrok?**

Anrok makes sales tax compliance simple and reliable. We use it to manage all our tax jurisdictions, and it automatically alerts us to new exposures so we stay compliant in every state. It integrates seamlessly with our QBO invoices, automatically identifying whether each product is taxable or non-taxable and which states we’re subject to sales tax in. Their customer support team is excellent, they not only help with questions but also handle all of our tax notices and business license renewals, which saves us a ton of time. Overall, Anrok is easy to use, easy to implement, and gives us full confidence that our sales tax compliance is fully covered.

**What do you dislike about Anrok?**

We recently encountered a minor issue where the sales tax for Illinois was calculated differently in QBO than it was on the Anrok platform. The Anrok team responded promptly and offered helpful suggestions, but the problem was not completely resolved, as part of it was related to our own internal processes. Additionally, it is not possible to obtain a copy of the state file—only a confirmation copy from Anrok is available.

**What problems is Anrok solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Anrok takes care of all our sales tax jurisdictions, so we don’t have to worry about staying compliant across different states. We can fully rely on their platform and team to manage filings, track exposures, and handle any updates. If we ever receive a notice, we simply forward it to Anrok, and they take care of everything. It’s saved us a lot of time and given us complete peace of mind around sales tax compliance.

What I appreciate most is how seamlessly it synchronises with Stripe and how user-friendly the experience is. Uploading tax certificates is straightforward, thanks to its smooth integration with Stripe, and it even processes refunds automatically when a certificate is detected. This has made managing these tasks much simpler for me.

I have been using Anrok for about eighteen months to file sales taxes across multiple US states, and its functionality has greatly alleviated any concerns about timely filed sales tax returns. I appreciate how Anrok's platform easily connects with both my payroll system Rippling and invoicing tool QuickBooks Online, ensuring seamless integration of our operational finance tools. The search and navigation experience can sometimes feel a bit limited when trying to quickly find a particular customer or transaction. Improving this functionality — for example, by adding more intuitive filters or a faster lookup feature — would make day-to-day use even smoother.

Anrok has simplified and automated our entire sales tax compliance process, which was previously time-consuming and error-prone. Before switching to Anrok, we were using Avalara, but it wasn’t meeting our needs — the system felt cumbersome, and we often ran into challenges with accuracy, setup, and support. Managing exposure across multiple jurisdictions required a lot of manual oversight, and ensuring the right tax rates were applied was a constant concern.

With Anrok, those issues have disappeared. The platform automatically tracks where we have nexus, flags new areas of exposure, and applies the correct tax rates without any manual work. Its integration with NetSuite is seamless — taxes are applied directly to invoices, updates sync effortlessly, and reporting is both accurate and easy to interpret.

Overall, Anrok has saved us significant time, reduced the risk of compliance errors, and given us much greater confidence in our sales tax processes. It’s been a major improvement over our previous solution and has allowed our team to focus on higher-value finance work instead of getting bogged down in tax management.

I find Anrok extremely valuable for reducing routine handwork in our financial team. I appreciate Anrok's seamless integration with my invoicing system, making automated sales tax calculations extremely smooth. I love that Anrok supports my goal of making our operations as hands-off as possible, which is crucial as we expand to more states. I found the onboarding process overwhelming because it was too much of a 'just plug it in and it will work' approach. I felt there was not enough explanation on crucial aspects such as how Anrok calculates tax, handles filing, what to do in case of errors, support access, which specific taxes are handled, setting up new jurisdictions, and importing existing sales data if onboarding mid-quarter. Additionally, customer support could be improved as well, as I felt there were more hiccups than expected during onboarding.

**What do you like best about Anrok?**

During the integration process, the onboarding rep who was assigned to me was very helpful with creating a seamless implementation experience. It took around an hour for the implementation to be completed. We worked with our billing software to test an invoice to make sure the sales tax was integrating between all 3 systems (our ERP system, our billing system, and Anrok). Everything worked perfectly!

Anrok makes calculating sales taxes easy for busy accountants. I like that after the month or after the quarter, Anrok will send me an email to review the sales taxes collected for the invoices. There's little involvement on my end except for the review portion which has saved me so much time that can be used to allocate in other areas of my work.

The customer support team has been pretty helpful whenever I reach out for issues. They're able to help me resolve the issues to the best of their abilities.

**What do you dislike about Anrok?**

I would say the response time is rather quite slow. Sometimes I catch myself waiting a couple of days for a response or even no response, so I'll need to follow up.

**What problems is Anrok solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Anrok is helping my company collect sales taxes since we weren't doing that previously. Anrok makes it seamless for the accounting team. There hasn't been any big issues that Anrok hasn't been able to resolved.

**What do you like best about Anrok?**

I am not a sales tax expert, and because we are (1) a remote company with physical nexuses in a ton of states and (2) international sales, Anrok has been incredibly helpful. It integrates with our billing system and it auto generates correct tax assessments on every invoice. It also files returns, allowing me to review and hit approve. Working with state government websites and processes is incredibly depressing, so outsourcing most of the complexity to software and a team that has expertise has been remarkably high ROI. I set up a new registration for a new state one time and then Anrok handles everything else. Took maybe 2 hours of time with the implementation team to do the initial onboarding and that was it.

**What do you dislike about Anrok?**

You can't have 2 separate ACH methods for (1) tax payments vs. (2) the SaaS fee that I pay Anrok. We have very organized bank accounts and this means that I have to mess up some of my payment flows. I really appreciate Anrok for providing all the necessary functionality and control that we need, especially at a better price point than other options we considered. When everything is set up, it does make it easy to get oversight on spend, where exposures lie and automates a lot of the process. Really appreciated the states that they could create our accounts for us, greatly simplified things. Took some time to get things set up but once that was done it's pretty seemless.

What I like best about Anrok is how seamlessly it integrates with Stripe Checkout — the setup required absolutely no coding, and it was live in our checkout flow almost instantly. The nexus monitoring is both comprehensive and incredibly easy to use, giving us clear visibility into our tax obligations. I also appreciate the value Anrok offers compared to other solutions, especially with free state registrations included. Having nexus monitoring, registration, tax calculation, and returns processing all in one platform saves us a tremendous amount of time and manual work.

The registration service feels like it’s still a work in progress. Status updates are limited and not as clear or timely as they could be, which can make it harder to track progress. Compared to services like CorpNet’s employer registration, which provides detailed and proactive updates, Anrok’s registration experience isn’t quite at the same level yet.

**What do you like best about Anrok?**

Anrok makes me (a person who is not an expert in tax area) feel that our company follows the governmental requirements and is tax compliant which is very important and impressive considering how this tool automates and simplifies such a complex process. I am not worried about our tax filing since the system provides all calculation and reconciliation needed which saved us a lot of hours of manual work. 

Another great thing about Anrok which I really recommend, is the ease of integration. It offers connection to our HR system and billing platform making it again, safer and more accurate when it comes do verifying our physical or economic nexus and adding sales tax directly to the customer's invoice.

**What do you dislike about Anrok?**

Unfortunately I had some struggles with Anrok's support team who in the past was not replying on time or not giving me specific advice solving my issue. Also we had some filings being late due to some technicalities partially on government side. However all that has been handled and I have impression that contact with their support improved, so I hope it will stay this way.

Their ability to track jurisdiction thresholds is particularly useful, clarifying that I exceeded limits in only three jurisdictions instead of the twenty initially indicated by my Stripe tax dashboard. The integration with Stripe is seamless, making the entire process straightforward and easy to manage.

I found the onboarding process to be problematic due to its assumptions about our business and mailing addresses. This created unnecessary challenges, especially since some states only handle correspondence via mail. We weren't there to receive these correspondences because the business is registered in a location where my partner and I don't regularly reside. Additionally, the support offered by Anrok was quite unhelpful when addressing these postal issues, essentially telling us to figure it out on our own. This lack of support was disappointing. Furthermore, the initial setup meeting was frustrating. I was unprepared due to the lack of a clear list of tasks I should have completed beforehand. It would have been beneficial to have a simple, detailed list of required actions once I signed up. Finally, it felt like a gotcha when I figured out that the number of nexus thresholds I hit was much lower than Stripe indicated only after I signed the contract.
