Using our proprietary model, Anova provides qualitative and quantitative feedback from key participants in the buying process. We first hired them for our Win/Loss program in our institutional retirement plans business. A few months later, we hired them for a second Win/Loss program for our group benefits business. The team at Anova takes a lot of time to learn the specifics of each business and the goals of each program. They tailor the interviews and outputs to the needs of each specific project and make changes as needed throughout the life of the program. We also have weekly check-in meetings to discuss the projects. For the institutional retirement business, Anova also offers an industry benchmark because they work with several retirement plan providers; this is a value-add for us. Due to the strength of the Win/Loss interviewing program, we have also engaged Anova for Consultant Perception work, which will kick off soon. For each of these programs, Anova offers an online portal experience with dashboard views of the feedback we are receiving and a search interface to gather insights from the interviews quickly. We scoped a few ad hoc projects, and the price Anova quoted was higher than other vendors. However, for the Win/Loss programs, we reviewed several vendors before choosing Anova, and the Anova pricing was in line with the other vendors on our shortlist. We have identified several areas to improve our service to clients, prospective clients, and intermediaries. We have also identified opportunities to follow up with specific clients/partners who had a particular issue.
