AnimateCaptions is a web-based tool for adding animated, word-by-word captions to short-form video. Upload an .mp4 or .mov, and it transcribes the audio using Deepgram's Nova-3 speech-to-text model (36+ languages, auto-detect). Pick from 32+ animated presets — including Beast (Mr Beast palette), Hormozi (green active-word highlight), Pulse, Crafty, Lyric, and karaoke-style word reveals — then fine-tune font, color, stroke, shadow, background, and per-line position in the in-browser editor. Correct any word, merge or hide lines, and reposition captions before exporting. Rendering happens server-side via ffmpeg and Remotion, so exports stay full resolution with no local software required. Unlike Submagic, Captions.ai, or CapCut, AnimateCaptions skips the bloated editor and AI-credit upcharges — you get the full caption feature set at one flat price. Free to start with no credit card (500MB / 2-minute clips), with paid plans from $7.99/month, undercutting Submagic ($19/mo) and Captions.ai ($24.99/mo). Built for TikTok creators, YouTube Shorts editors, Reels makers, podcast clippers, and agencies batch-captioning client work.
