For a complex, robust, enterprise level SPA web application the Angular framework has virtually everything you need built in. This allows you to use a single framework for your application instead of marrying together multiple frameworks. It is also actively being developed, so it stays up to date with current trends. **What do you dislike about Angular?** Because Angular is so robust, it can sometimes be complicated to work with. It also is a large framework because of all the things it can do. This can mean that some things that seem like they should be easy, or are easy to do in other frameworks, are harder to do in Angular. Generally Angular compensates for these small things by its overall benefits and features. **What problems is Angular solving and how is that benefiting you?** We develop both large and small web applications, and Angular has worked well in both scenarios. Having a single framework that we can use for multiple projects has been a boon for our dev team. They have been able to concentrate on just building expertise on this single framework and know that it can be used for most of the projects we need to tackle. This makes building new features and applications go quicker because they can rely on the expertise that they have built on this framework. ### 2. Its best use case is banking applications, why I chose angular over react while doing a banking project is angular offers me more structured way of managing the code. It provides better routing and better styling than any other framework. **What do you dislike about Angular?** Its heavy as compared to react or vue, there is a tradeoff on performance. In angular even if you write 4 lines of code it will need a lot of support it is not plug and playable like react components **What problems is Angular solving and how is that benefiting you?** I used angular when I was making an internet banking application, since internet banking is a huge application with multiple cross selling platforms angular shared module thing came very handy and navigating within the modules was super easy. ### 3. It takes very few steps to start a project from scratch in comparison to other frameworks such as Django. The documentation that Angular provides is also very in-depth when it comes to the setup process. When you first need to add components to your application, Angular does a great job of walking you through the process. Another amazing feature is it has different modules such as Material that give great insight into creating beautiful, cutting edge additions to your application. **What do you dislike about Angular?** The biggest downfall to Angular is the learning curve that it requires in comparison to frameworks such as Django. Once you know how to develop using this framework/language, it is beautiful and concise. But the learning curve to get to that point is a lot heavier than other web frameworks that I have used in the past. Especially if you are used to object-oriented programming. Angular uses very little logic, but more on the site of factual statements, kinda similar to that of which javascript is like. **Recommendations to others considering Angular:** Look into both Angular and React. Both are viable counterparts to one another. **What problems is Angular solving and how is that benefiting you?** The current problem I am solving with Angular is the development of a web application that connects frontline workers with volunteers to pass back and forth much-needed supplies that frontline workers request. Basically, it is a site where a hospital can request masks, and someone can donate them to the workers because they have some extra. The benefits that I have realized is that it creates a beautiful looking site with a lot less work in comparison to other frameworks that you might be using. ### 4. The documentation is amazingly useful and has awesome examples that you can use and expand on your application. I prefer to use a JavaScript framework than using template views, such as blade, razor, etc. because at the end, it will all work with JavaScript, and it should be the way front-end web apps work because it is the true client app language. Angular 2+ uses TypeScript which is then transpiled into JavaScript. TypeScript is basically JavaScript on steroids, because it uses the language's syntax plus strongly typed capabilities, making JavaScript use return types and typed parameters! Besides Angular being modular itself, it can be upgraded with custom modules and libraries that can be injected. Even for better loading, it can be injected in specific places so it is not loaded all the time. It has a very robust and great routing system that focuses on accessibility which makes access restriction very easy. Angular CLI? just try "ng serve -o" and you'll fall in love with it. If it isn't enough, try "ng build --prod" and see what it does ;). **What do you dislike about Angular?** Even though this is my favorite framework, I have to confess that it really is a bit heavy to work with and a somewhat slow start when you need to configure the base of your application, such as the way you will handle the routes, your models, interfaces, etc. But the worst of it is, that if you are planning on using it with other technologies, you will really need to know what you are doing. Specially if you will use it with for example .NET Core. An amazing combination, but need to pay close attention to the app's build process. **Recommendations to others considering Angular:** It is a complete yes. If you are considering a front-end framework for your web app, you should at least try out Angular 2+ with a tutorial project so that you can see "the angular way" of working. There are obviously more web frameworks which can do incredible things, but Angular is a great choice for an "all in one" framework. **What problems is Angular solving and how is that benefiting you?** The best benefit over all by using Angular is the model-view bindings. It is made on the client side so the user does not need to wait a post back for the data to update and forget about those screen flashes. Interactivity is the framework's magic and it is incredibly fast! ### 24.
