Works really well. It's within so many meters within Canada as long as there is cell phone range. If you leave the country you need to call so they can send you another SIM card to change out so it will work when you leave for safety. And the cradle base I found was more accurate for charging with the nugget shaped tracker than the button shaped charger. Ilove the fact I can listen and speak to my child during elopment, or I can decide if it's elopement or just a slip of the satellites. The check points are really sensitive to other frequency (ie cell phones smart devices) causing check points to go off for no reasons. the wrist bands are sometimes to easy for the residents to get off (ie cuts them off slides thems off) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
