What do you like best about Anecdotes?

There is a long list but here are a few, for the platform itself;

- User-friendliness

- Intuitive flow of information

- Baselines/Templates in place for Frameworks, Policies, and Risk Management

- Level of customisation throughout (custom Framework is my favourite)

- Transparency of what is collected via Plugins

- The speed at which the Plugins Market is growing

- Simplicity of Risk Manager

- Access segregation for the User roles

For the Anecdotes team;

- Very professional and approachable

- Always willing to help

- Welcomes feedback and suggestions

"Great solution for reducing the pain of compliance"

What do you like best about Anecdotes?

I love the plugins allowing automatic data fetch from various sources, and the ability to hook them up directly to the controls. This ends up saving a bunch of time in tracking and monitoring the specific points. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Anecdotes?

Some missing plugins, (i.e. Notion), but there are workarounds for those. In the begining, I was looking for a more opinionated solution, but they've come a long way and now include great defaults or templates (i.e. the policy manager) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Anecdotes?

The templates are great and solved us a huge amount of hassle. In addition, the plugins are easy to use and are capturing a lot of automated evidence for us. The team was also helpful and very reachable when we had some question. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Anecdotes?

As an auditor, it is the most straightforward tool to manage the audit.

Our audit clients share evidence through this tool, which is very easy.

What do you like best about Anecdotes?

The platform and specifically the automation and policy templates (like ISMS) have allowed us to get compliant without taking up too much time and resources. There are also integrations with some of the tools we use and they are constantly adding new ones, including some that we requested. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Anecdotes?

Still missing some needed integrations for us. we missed a way to communicate inside the platform in a way that the auditor cannot see our conversations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Anecdotes solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are very intentional about remaining secure and compliant. We onboarded Anecdotes to help us with building the foundation of our compliance infrastructure. We started with SOC 2 and are now using the platform for ISO, which has been made much easier thanks to the cross mapping of evidence. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

if your company needs to comply with ISO/SOC2/PCI/others and you want to make the process better (no more excels...) and user-friendly this is the next step in GRC Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Anecdotes solving and how is that benefiting you?

the first problem we are solving is the centrelized view and management of the technical controls

we benefit from collaboration across the team as everyone sees the full status of the tasks and we save time so anyone can pick up a task from any point

also, the final review and approval of the CISO/CIO/CTO are independent and can be done in parallel Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Anecdotes?

The platform has given me and my team a single place to collaborate on all of our compliance work. The interface is very easy to use and the automation will save us a lot of time and resources. The ability to customize frameworks has also been very important for us.

Performing gap analysis with new frameworks using the controls in the platform will be much faster.
