## Android Reviews
  ### 1. Privacy, screenshots and Ads

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** German J. | Social media agent, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2021

**What do you like best about Android?**

I like the way Android has changed our lives; I mean, this operating system was growing up and being more concise, adding more features, tools, and pre-install Apps; later on, we didn't need that many App as we used to, so it evolved and let manufacturs put their own pre-install app in order to take advantage about their sensors, cameras, gestures and so on.

**What do you dislike about Android?**

What I dislike about Android is the fact that we're not longer able to do screenshots in any places, I fully understand that due to privacy some places or apps are forbidden to do screenshots but I prefer a disclaimer and let users do screenshots under their own risk and laws that may apply. In the other hand is that most free app alows ads on fullscreen and the X to close is so tricky and 4 out of 10 we clic on and open browser or open play store and may or may not see your personal information and credit card or addresses where it think is so insecure.

**Recommendations to others considering Android:**

Android support should have better ways to bring support to their users; We commonly contact app's developers to receive solutions, but there is no phone, social media, or chat; many people use E-mail, and I got no email back in a long period, we all know what Android is but not where to call or chat with.

**What problems is Android solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using Android, I have been able to solve many problems as Play Store allow 3rd party apps we have a bunch of options for accesories that manufacturs haven't released software to Android, for example Airpods. I know that those headphones are not supposed to be use in Android but we can due to 3rd party developers. Most TV, smartwatch, smartphones are using Androind which means we have a great compatibility. Also for my company we deal with customers and refer out Android app and customers are able to review their warranty status, share experiences, seek for tips and troubleshooting steps.

Android is a mobile beast. I enjoy the convenience that Android devices offer to take on my daily mobile computing and processing. Android allows me to send and receive emails on multiple platforms, participate in zoom and virtual meetings by a very simple and user-friendly app, instant message with family and friends, listen to music both on-device as well as on streaming services (like Spotify and tidal). I can also customize android with themes and many wallpapers which is a feature that I thoroughly enjoy.

My Samsung phone has more features than my previous Apple. They are ahead of the game, I can split screen, move things around. It's pretty intuitive. I thought it would be more of a change from Apple but it actually wasn't too hard to adapt. There are several things I can do on my phone that I couldn't before.

**What do you dislike about Android?**

I do miss some iMessaging features. I also find myself discovering features I didn't know existed. Maybe some sort of tutorial when you first start it up would be good.

Android consists of many brands, and some may be better than others. I personally like Samsung; some other Android devices may not perform as well.

The most likely part is how convenient it is to use. The android is designed to make your day 2-day activities go smoothly literally. **Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dr. Alice L. | Wedding Officiant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2021

**What do you like best about Android?**

I've been using Android for many years, and feel comfortable with it and that I'm able to get pretty much everything I need without having to deal with iOS.

**What do you dislike about Android?**

There's a lot of hype about Apple products being better, or the cameras being better. I'm not sure about that. Pretty much whatever phone you use after like 4 years is going to need to be replaced regardless. I do wish for something like FaceTime, and also the ability to react to chat messages or text messages the way someone does on an iPhone.

**Recommendations to others considering Android:**

If you really don't need to FaceTime or to be a slave to Apple, Android phones have a lot to offer.

**What problems is Android solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use it for work and personal use. It runs all of my apps without a problem. I really like the way it integrates with my Google voice number, so I can answer work calls as well as personal calls.

  ### 9. Android Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shivangi S. | Associate Scientist II, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2021

**What do you like best about Android?**

The best thing about android is it allows you to download most of the apps free of cost. It also has a communication advantage between various entertainment platforms. Android users get a lot of choice in selecting their storage, battery size, and even removable memory cards.

**What do you dislike about Android?**

The annoying thing about android is popup ads while using the device, although the purpose of these may be getting free apps but it sometimes hangs your device or slows it down.

**Recommendations to others considering Android:**

If you want to use multiple apps free of cost, go ahead and get yourself an Android device.

**What problems is Android solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can connect multiple devices and have access to files anywhere either at the workplace or home.

  ### 10. Android is a versatile OS

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amabele S. | Fraud Prevention Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2021

**What do you like best about Android?**

It's easy to use and navigate. It also offers multiple apps that sometimes are not available with different operation systems. For experts, it allows easy to use in creating apps which makes it for a useful operation system. One of my favorite things is how simple and streamlined it is compared to other operation systems.

**What do you dislike about Android?**

What I heard is that Android devices are easier to hack into and to get viruses. If I could recommend something it would be to offer better security tools that equal or exceed that of Apple devices.
Other than that, I have absolutely no complaints.

**Recommendations to others considering Android:**

Ensure all updates are completed in a timely manner, organize work files in a separate folder to easy access it when needed.

**What problems is Android solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm able to play games, contact my family through social media, keep in touch with my boyfriend and navigate the web. I recently realized that I can access my work Zoom chat right on my phone which helps me contact my supervisor in case of computer problems while working from home.

  ### 11. Perhaps the Best Operating System Ever Made

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ron F. | Humanities / Social Science Teacher, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2021

**What do you like best about Android?**

Even though it is very customisable, it is also safe and easy to use. Fast, stable and refined - the operating system is a dream come true! The number of mature apps available is absolutely fantastic and they often come from very reliable companies - a good example of such a company is Microsoft.

**What do you dislike about Android?**

Its upgrade cycle is quite fast and many devices using Android do not get updates after the initial installation or after one major update due their manufacturers' attempts to cut their costs/sell new devices. Some new features may beunavailable to the user who is left behind during the upgrade cycle.

**Recommendations to others considering Android:**

If you have ever used MS Widnows, mac OS or Chrome OS you will know how to use Android OS within minutes if not seconds! The operating system is very customisable, stable and has a lot of applications you will know from your other operating sstem(s). It is elegant, fast and very stable now even on some budget devices.

**Recommendations to others considering Android:**

Android is packed with possibilities and features.
I recommend android to everyone.

Excellent services of android make life easy and smooth.

**What do you like best about Android?**

I love how you can control everything on the phone with android, and you can use a lot of 3rd party apps and programming to make your life easier. It is a lot more flexible then IOS.

**What do you dislike about Android?**

  ### 15. Google Os for mobile devices

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jaissica H. | Junior Project Enginner, Financial Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

Easy to use and mostly found on most brands and most of the applications can be installed without playstore using apk files. OS by google and features make it the best OS for mobile devices

**What do you dislike about Android?**

The security is always remained the main concern it can be more secure and more control to the user inspite of applications and should provide privacy control and so

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amol R. | Application Development Senior Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 05, 2021

**What do you like best about Android?**

The best thing I like about android is the freedom it offers to its users. There is no limit to what and which app I can install or uninstall. Easy to use, and I can use customized themes for a better UI experience. Not only its users but Android gives freedom to its developers as well, if you are planing to build new app in Android I would say "sky is the limit"

**What do you dislike about Android?**

What bothers me more is, google, Facebook, and some other apps are continuously listening to your conversation to recommend you ad suggestions which is kind of annoying; this is where ios has an advantage over Android. Android should offer control to the user what to share and what not to.

**Recommendations to others considering Android:**

If you are looking for freedom to install any app from any source, go for it. Android also offers freedom to change its user interface, and there are tons of apps available to make it happen for you. If you are an Android developer and want to do something new, android always gives you the flexibility to achieve it. Just to let you know, the only thing I did not like is; Android will not give you privacy, or you cannot control what to share with the installed apps.

**What problems is Android solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have developed some apps in android for clients. I have developed chat apps, chatbot apps to automate the existing repeating task.

I love that you can download free source applications. There isn't a limit to what you can do with android where as apple is locked to what they want you to see.

**What do you dislike about Android?**

The user interface isn't quite as nice as apple. It's less user friendly and that may not appeal to everybody like for example my parents. They want something simple that works.

**What problems is Android solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gives app developers a lot of freedom and users that freedom as well to use apps that aren't vetted. It's got a lot of cool features that other phones haven't adopted.

  ### 41. Android - Innovative Mobile Operating System

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vishal J. | Software Project Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 08, 2021

**What do you like best about Android?**

Android, as a mobile operating system, has been innovative and revolutionary in the way it has changed the way users use their mobile phones. The best thing about using the Android operating system is the ease with which I can switch my handset without worrying about data migration. Data like contacts, emails, documents and backup can be easily migrated as everything is stored on the cloud within the Google Drive.

Next, the number of apps available on the Play Store is just innumerable. Most of the day-to-day services are available as Android apps. I no longer need to open my PC/laptop to access those services. Banking, Travel, Communication, E-commerce, and many more apps are available for free download.

One more thing worth mention is the Play Books app which helps me to access a ton of e-books. I am a regular reader, and various genres of books are available on Play Books. The good thing is most books have 'Samples' available, which users can go through and then decide whether to purchase or not.

**What do you dislike about Android?**

Although I am not a gamer, but have observed that entry level and mid level Android phones do not give a good performance as far as games are concerned. Specially games with high speed animation, you need a fast processor and maximum RAM for better performance. However, no issues faced on top-end Android phones.

Another thing which I dislike is related to entry level Android phones. After a few months, the performance starts dropping, apps take more time to load. However, this can be fixed by doing a cleanup of residual data or by going for a factory reset.

**Recommendations to others considering Android:**

I have been using Android operating system for my mobile devices for quite a few years now. And can recommend it to new users. The ease of doing work on Android phones is the best thing anyone would ask for.

**What problems is Android solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am using Android in 2 different roles.

1. As a user, I am using Android as the operating system on my primary mobile phone, which is also my business phone. I am using Android phone for all my needs like calls, messages, communication, banking, bookings ( travel and hotel), social media interactions, and much more.

2. As an Android apps developer, I am using Android Studio software for developing native apps for the Android mobile universe.

**Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2021

**What do you like best about Android?**

Very easy user interface. It is straightforward to download apps from Google Play Store. I have multiple apps on gaming, for communication, for learning an so on. One of the best things about Android is that anybody can not only download an app but also create an app using Android Studio. After only a few weeks of studying online, I have installed an experimental app on my phone (related to positive quotes) hared this with my friends. This helps up various possibilities for anybody out there of any age.

**What do you dislike about Android?**

When compared with iOS, Android is still considered small in certain places including where I live. I love to use Android for the flexibility it provides and also because it allows me to experiment with app creation with nothing other than a laptop and a smartphone. However, most people have a false assumption that someone must be an android user because they cannot afford iOS. I think Android needs to step out into the market as not just a convenient brand but also a luxury brand. It should have different features and different set of products to cover the needs of diversified customers.

**What problems is Android solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Learning on Coursera is easy over Android. I teach my own course after recording on my Android phone. Just this little gadget gives me immense power. I can communicate with anybody anywhere in the world over my Android. I can create sales funnels using Android. i can record my lectures over Android. Most interestingly, I can do a presentation even while sitting in the middle of nowhere thanks to my Android smartphone.

The only time Android really slows down is if the hardware becomes outdated or too many applications that are memory intensive are installed. But if you stay on top of it, things run very smoothly.
