**What do you like best about Android?**

Customisations, It's very easy to customise Android OS.

**What do you dislike about Android?**

Some companies putting so much bloatwares in their own Android OS.

**What problems is Android solving and how is that benefiting you?**

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Avi P. | Web Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2021

**What do you like best about Android?**

Android is a highly customizable operating system but at the same time it is easy to use! 1. I can change the app theme, icons, and even modify developer settings...
at the same time 2. it can be used easily even by someone who does not want these advanced customizations. I have given android phones to my grandparents who are able to use and enjoy their phones.

**What do you dislike about Android?**

I dislike the fact that if you do not have a good account, then it will be nearly impossible to sign into the phone, download apps and perform backups.
In addition, I would appreciate it if the google play store could be more exclusive in which apps they allow to publish. This will help avoid malware, scams, and other unsavory applications from being downloaded.

**Recommendations to others considering Android:**

There are hundreds of android phone models and versions, based on your budget go with the highest end phone you can get (so it will hopefully last at least the two years)

**What problems is Android solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The platform of android is very diverse, customizable, and easy to use.
This means that I can give an android phone to a technically savvy person to enjoy. But at the same time, i can give the phone to a child or even grandparent who are not well-versed in this and they will still be able to use and enjoy it.
Google Play is also a huge plus! There are thousands of amazing apps which target techies like myself and others who are easy to understand and come pre-configured for the non-techies... everyone is happy at the end of the day!

  ### 3. Android is all I want.

**What do you dislike about Android?**

Update frequency can sometimes be a little slow as multiple companies are in the pipeline to approve any updates. It could come with better built-in security.

The versatility of software for communicating with Employees and managers.

  ### 5. Phenomenal and User Friendly

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tracy N. | Business Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Android?**

Allows its user to do multi-tasks that are unreachable by other operating systems. The interface is way better and more user-friendly than other systems. Android holds a massive global market share lead over IOS. Android rules the global market because of its cost.

**What do you dislike about Android?**

What I do not like about the Android operating system is, that apps stay active in the active in the background, it runs slowly at times, and the apps have lots of advertisements that are is downloaded from google play.

**What problems is Android solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Android having a flexible platform that allows a great deal of customization and accommodate a wide range of changes from simple to complex and can handle my company's requirements.

  ### 6. Android is essential. My clients use android more than apple regardless of social class.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kyle B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Android?**

It is foundation of phone communication before apple used the its framework. It has its own following and they are loyal to the user friendliness and universal applications to life

**What do you dislike about Android?**

I disllike how GOOGLE is strangling its features. Everyone wants the data by any means they will get it. Data phishing can be hell when using android products. I still prefer it over apple products.

**What problems is Android solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Universal connectivity and global usage. Android solved all the early issues of cellphone architecture before apple. Apple should thank android annually. The average cellphone/tablet user has an android powered device or started with one regardless of social class.

  ### 7. Android is a well-packaged OS for all mobile application needs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aditya R. | SEM Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 02, 2023

**What do you like best about Android?**

#1 best thing about Android is its open-source platform. It provides a neat-and-clean application environment for mobile devices. Its building blocks AndroidManifest, Services, Broadcast Receiver, and Activities, make it so powerful that it makes execution super easy.

**What do you dislike about Android?**

Devices that are low in performance aren't super fit for Android apps. The one who wants to use it must have a Google account ready. There are a few other drawbacks as well, such as faster battery drain etc.

**What problems is Android solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating apps that help in marketing. Streamlining business connectivity between shopping platforms (Shopify, big commerce) and paid marketing channels such as Google Ads, Facebook and more.

  ### 10. Customization and Flexibility at its best!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Norakmal Z. | SOC Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2022

**What do you like best about Android?**

Android smartphones get capability and versatility through widgets, or standalone programmes. One of the main factors favouring Android over Apple is this functionality. For improving an Android user's experience, some of the best widgets available include Circle Launcher and Battery Widget Reborn.

**What do you dislike about Android?**

Due to its open operating system, Android is more susceptible to viruses than the iPhone. I can download apps for Android from a huge selection of websites, some of which were made by cybercriminals looking to spread malware. The only place that Apple lets me download software is from its secure App Store, which is significantly more challenging for hackers to breach.

**What problems is Android solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Unlike iOS, which is a 'locked' system that is nearly impossible to customize, Android is an open system that lets me customize my device by integrating it with outside software.

  ### 11. Most used OS - Android

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aaditya Partap S. | Software Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 26, 2022

**What do you like best about Android?**

Android is widely running across devices from different companies which makes it available to almost everyone in the world. Android is full of features to customize your experience and easy connectivity to other devices as compared to the iOS.

On Android we can run any application either downloaded from Play Store or through an APK but we cannot do that on iOS.

**What do you dislike about Android?**

The major thing which I dislike on Android is the UI updates because whenever you update it does not add any noticeable features and you hardly notice any difference as compared to the previous versions. So I think with updates Android should add more features which will differentiate it from older versions.

**What problems is Android solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Android is solving every problem for everyone out there because now you cannot imagine yourself without a smartphone. Android is an amazing OS that makes life so much easy that you can do anything or talk to anybody across the world with just few clicks. It is seamless to use.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julian A. | IT Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 01, 2022

**What do you like best about Android?**

My kid use an Android phone, a Samsung galaxy A5, his phone is controlled by me using "Family Link" software from my iPhone. I know where is my kid; block his phone and control his Apps before his installation.

**What do you dislike about Android?**

Andoid operating system is open, you can install any app from a file .apk, normaly there is not danger, but sometimes, a virus can by injected by a file .apk infected. The Google Store is not very reliable to find the applications rouges.

**What problems is Android solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The phones and tablets Android are less expensive than Apple. When you have kids, you can give them a phone for about 200$. I also used Android in automatization, you can control USB devices easily.

  ### 14. Amazingly customizable

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zeeshan D. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 28, 2022

**What do you like best about Android?**

Having versions from different vendors allows users to experience a variety of UI and UX approaches with access to the same expansive library of applications. This results in vendors experimenting, and the best ones get adopted the most; consequently, other companies port those to their software, resulting in a win for consumers.

**What do you dislike about Android?**

Search in the settings app is poor. I rarely get to the setting I am looking for unless the title matches exactly. Also, the built-in file manager and explorer feel antiquated, and third-party ones are riddled with ads and are bloated to the extent of being unusable.

**What problems is Android solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Connecting with friends and family is a priority for me, and with android, that experience is seamless. I also like to read news, and having google news on the swipe is an excellent feature. But it sometimes feels like the articles are targeted or pushing one specific idea/opinion.

I can not think of anything that I dislike about Android. It has all of the things that I need, or would want in a mobile operating system. There is nothing to dislike.

**What problems is Android solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Android is solving the problem of connecting my devices with ease. I don't have to be a tec professor to make the sync connections myself, Android makes it very easy.

  ### 17. Android

  ### 20. An OS which everyone must have

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Archana S. | Manager Project Management, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 03, 2022

**What do you like best about Android?**

The best things about android, which I feel after so much experience, are:
1. We can expand its memory by using an external sd card on android.
2. We have a variety of free and paid games available for android on the play store.
3. Also, we can install other apps not on the play store but on iOS; we can't install other apps manually.
4. Its hardware integration is incredible.

**What do you dislike about Android?**

Some downsides of android, from my experience, are:
1. It needs a google account to operate it.
2. We usually get fewer updates which could depend upon the diffrent companies of cellphones, and they can improve this demerit.
3. Many ads and bloatware are there on android while these are not on iOS.

**What problems is Android solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Android is not just solving my problems; it's my everything from top to bottom; I can't be where I am without Android OS.
While preparing for IITto my journey to manager, Android helped me in every aspect. It became my watch, compass, mail carrier, and literally everything.
Without Android, our world cannot imagine; Android has changed the lives of all of us, so thank the developer whosoever developed it.

I really like Android but it's a bit annoying that one cannot receive videos from Apple products that are clear.

**What problems is Android solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Day to day phone and computer usage.

  ### 22. Android - Pretty Much Everyone Can Use

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Devansh R. | Senior Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 15, 2022

**What do you like best about Android?**

The best thing I like about android is the customization. We can customize almost everything depending on how we like to use our devices.
Apart from this, android is almost available from major mobile device manufacturers and it makes us to choose a better device.

**What do you dislike about Android?**

Throughout my overall experience with android, I did not like the overall updates with the device manufacturers bring to the table. On lower end devices, we only get 1 or 2 years of updates only and mostly these updates redure the user experience over time.
This issue is a major one with android.

**What problems is Android solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Android is constantly fixing up on the privacy and security features. These features are benefiting me in a longer run as well as shorter run to be confident with my data and apps in my devices. Security is topmost requirement in this internet world.

**What do you like best about Android?**

It is the one I have always used and I would not change it because it is simple and more accessible

**What do you dislike about Android?**

I don't know the data security issue but it seems that the vulnerability is greater

**What problems is Android solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It can be used on multiple devices, so I have options to choose from.

  ### 25. Easy, convenient and self explanatory OS with best possible features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

4g/5g works fast
New updates and features get introduced every other day
a lot of free software/apps are available to make consumers' life easy

**What do you dislike about Android?**

When it comes to mobile devices.. sometimes it gets hanged; however, it is understandable that multiple factors can cause the hanging issue, such as RAM/ space and usage.

Sometimes the user interface gets peoplem confused.. other than that, everything is fine.

**What problems is Android solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can easily make applications for our new business with less effort.
It is straightforward to access word files, and zip files, and share data with other users
One can keep things sorted using the Android OS.

Android tiene muchas características y lo recomiendo mucho. Puedes chatear, llamar, enviar mensajes y navegar por la web. Las actualizaciones más recientes disponibles son fáciles de instalar en dispositivos Android. En general, me gusta Android.

**What do you dislike about Android?**

In the beginning stages of Android, it had some significant issues, like it would freeze, restart by itself, and the updates were also very slow. They can improve.

**What problems is Android solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Calling suppliers and customers using the Android OS has been an excellent experience. The internet app is also helpful. I would recommend Android to others in the consulting industry.

Android is a popular platform, and as a result, it is a target for cybercriminals. The open-source nature of Android also makes it more vulnerable to security vulnerabilities.

Android has solved many problems related to mobile computing, quickly accessible, gaming, making it more accessible, productive, and entertaining for users like me.

**Reviewed Date:** October 12, 2022

**What do you like best about Android?**

The ease of use, the interface is one of the most intuitive that i have used ever, also for advanced users there is a lot of customization that you can have on your phone, it just needs to follow some steps.

**What do you dislike about Android?**

one of the main problem is how total customization is locked, i think that the users should have more space to explore all the options that Android provides without having to take extra steps

**What problems is Android solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The way that a phone can be your business center, with all the available configurations, they include built in apps that can improve the business performance, also the google play center helps to have a lot of apps that could help almost in every situation.
