Andratek AthenaRecorder is screen recording software for Windows that runs on modest hardware. It supports hardware encoders like NVIDIA NVENC, AMD AMF, and Intel QSV, with automatic fallback to software encoding. Game Mode captures gameplay via Windows Game Capture in an isolated process, ensuring compatibility with anti-cheat systems. Replay Buffer lets users save recent screen activity with a shortcut without stopping recordings. The webcam overlay offers a WYSIWYG preview. A real-time audio waveform monitor displays microphone and system audio levels, preventing unnoticed audio issues. The software exports to formats like MP4, MKV, WebM VP9, MP3, AAC, and FLAC. Scheduled recordings can start at specific times with automatic stop and restart options. A command-line interface supports automation, while device capture works with HDMI cards and USB cameras. Smart Sync ensures audio-video synchronization during long recordings.
