"Solid, Seamless Billing Platform"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Anchor?

Recurring billing, automatic payouts and integration to QuickBooks are a must. Collecting payment upfront, even for at-completion billings is very nice in minimizing turnaround. The ability to push credit card fees on the payer and incentivize ACH is also very seamless.

The proposal and service functionality is good, needs some tailoring to your engagement letter descriptions at the outset.

Three-tier pricing is a game changer, offering three summary options and the ability for prospects to consider the details of each without getting overwhelmed all at once is ideal to present options and change the sales decision from "if" to "which" service they pick. The optional add-ons, delayed service start, and other controls are also very nice to use when appropriate.

The ability to add one-off charges, enter variable quantities for monthly billings, or even amend recurring agreements is also near seamless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Anchor?

The $5 per deposit fee can factor as a higher percentage than other payment platforms for lower service level clients. I wish this was a 1% up to $5 instead of a flat $5 per transaction. It also hits harder when seeing multiple transactions batched, the fee is $5 per invoice, not $5 per deposit if they may be batched. Again, I wish a 1% fee with $5 ceiling was implemented, ideally on the payout side rather than per invoice.

The processing time from invoice, automatic collection, and payout is also a solid 2-3 business days which can seem a little long for the level of automation involved. I wish this was more of a next or at least firmly second-business day with less lead time for the fees involved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"I can't recommend it enough"
5/5
What do you like best about Anchor?

I cannot recommend Anchor enough to anyone who will listen!

It processes installment payments automatically (after initial approval by the client), charges only $5 per ACH transaction (WAY less than others), and integrates with QBO wonderfully!

I knew I wanted something cheaper than the normal payment processing and Anchor allows me to pass along the CC fee to my clients (I prefer they use ACH, so this pushes that for them, but still provides an alternative). I love that Anchor allows me to clearly show the clients what they are paying for and even allows me to offer different packages and optional offerings they can choose.

Again, I can't recommend it enough, such a game changer! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Anchor?

The only downside is that clients don't necessarily read through or save their signed agreements so it causes me to have to repeat the info they've already accepted. This is a them problem, but becomes an issue for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Peace of Mind"
5/5
What do you like best about Anchor?

Anchor has brought me peace of mind when it comes to managing billing for my business. Their billing agreements are a standout feature—they provide complete transparency between my clients and me, ensuring we’re always on the same page about services and costs. The automatic invoicing and collection processes are incredibly efficient, saving me time and hassle. I also appreciate their pricing structure—it’s fair and allows me to pass on credit card fees, which is a huge plus. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Anchor?

Not much! It does have a learning curve, and setting everything up takes a little time, but the support team is fantastic and guides you every step of the way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamline your engagement letters and payments"
5/5
What do you like best about Anchor?

I love that you can create proposals, have them accepted and receive payments all through the same platform! So simple. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Anchor?

There really isn't much to dislike. You can build the cost into your fee so that is not an issue. The only downside is having to go through them if your client has a technical issue. But that's the same with any third party app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Anchor has streamlined my invoicing"
5/5
What do you like best about Anchor?

This is my second year using Anchor. It has helped streamline my invoicing. It has ways to add out of scope charges as well as to let the client pay via ACH or credit card. If they pay by credit card, the client is billed. For my tax clients, it has helped to get payment in advance as well as to have them sign my client service agreement in advance. It also syncs with QuickBooks Online, including adding new client names to QBO. As far as implementation, there is no startup fee, and they spent all the time I needed to help me. Overall, very happy to have Anchor on my team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Anchor?

I would like to add completely separate agreements for existing clients, but this means that they have to reset their payment method. Chat support could use faster response time. But once they do respond, they are very helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"I can't stop recommending Anchor"
5/5
What do you like best about Anchor?

Anchor has saved me HOURS of work in the half year I have been using it. The proposal function used to be a bottleneck, simply because it was a paint to customize and overthink my old archaic platform. Anchor's clean interface is so user-friendly and inviting I'm actually excited to create and send proposals! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Anchor?

I did not realize at first the default proposal reminders that go out to prospects were a bit more aggressive than I'd like. I was able to go in and adjust those so prospects get fewer reminders. This is likely just a preference of mine but it would have been nice to be asked this in general during initial setup. Apologies if I missed it! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
