**What do you like best about Anaconda Core?**

I am a data scientist and use Anaconda Platform for all my work on my local machine. It's a great all-in-one location where I can use Spyder, Jupyter notebooks, and more—all in the same place. I love that everything is downloaded together at once; I don't need to download and maintain separate versions of Python, Spyder, etc. It's easy to set up, with steps to guide you through. Overall, it's a great tool for data science and analytics.

**What do you dislike about Anaconda Core?**

I'm not sure if it exists, but there should be cloud compute support for Anaconda. I choose to do my work in the cloud so that I can deploy a GPU if needed, since my local doesn't have that. That would really make Anaconda more powerful and more useful.

**What problems is Anaconda Core solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Anaconda Platform is a great all-in-one location for data science work, letting me use Spyder and Jupyter notebooks in the same place without the need to download separate versions.

**What do you like best about Anaconda Core?**

Anaconda has been very useful in resolving some of the current issues that were accruing in the environment setup, dependency management, and other tool-related issues. Previously, setting up the environment has been tedious; however, with Anaconda, this has been made very easy, allowing me to concentrate on data analysis rather than constantly fighting with setup issues.

**What do you dislike about Anaconda Core?**

There is something that I dislike about Anaconda, however. One feature that I dislike is that sometimes the site can be a bit heavy, especially at times of startup or updating. Conflicts in packages still occur, albeit rarely. At times, resolving these could take extra time. The variety of features could be overwhelming to new users.

**What problems is Anaconda Core solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Anaconda AI Platform helps with various challenges like dependency conflicts, environmental issues, or dealing with several Python libraries. Prior to the usage of Anaconda AI Platform, a great deal of effort went into resolving environmental issues or having to re-install various packages. At the moment, the experience is much neater and conducive, which is helpful because it saves me time and helps me focus on data analyses.

**What do you like best about Anaconda Core?**

As a AI developer I have used Anaconda for some of my projects and the feature I most like about it are:-
1) Good for projects with shared environment
2) Bundled important python libraries for AI development and Data science which really makes it easy to use
3)Strong open source community to clear doubts
4) Interactive platform for user support and new updates along with the forum
5) Integration with jupyter lab makes it more useful for AI developers

**What do you dislike about Anaconda Core?**

The features I dislike are:-
1) It uses too much resources for some project which makes it hard to use on local machine
2) Bundled package are not latest sometimes. which makes it difficult to use new features

**What problems is Anaconda Core solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem Anaconda AI platform is solving for me is 
1) It helps in package managment in team projects.
2) Its secure and scalable.
3) Covinent for installing dependency with out worrying about version mismatch in project are mutually dependent packages

**What do you like best about Anaconda Core?**

The batteries included approach is the biggest advantage. I find it very hepful that it pre-installs the most critical data science libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, Matplotlib) without needing to fight with dependency conflicts manually. The Anaconda Navigator is great for managing separate environment, Eg- I can keep my deep learning environment separate from my standard stock analysis environment.

**What do you dislike about Anaconda Core?**

It can be quite heavy on system resources. The base installation consumes a significant amount of disk space. Also the Navigator GUI can sometimes feel sluggish to load on older hardware. The 'Solver' (used for resolving package dependencies) can occasionally be slow when installing new packages.

**What problems is Anaconda Core solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use it primarily for financial data analysis and predictive modeling for the stock market. It solves the problem of 'Environment Hell' by allowing me to quickly spin up isolated Python environments for different projects (e.g., one for Kaggle competitions, one for analyzing NSE stock data). It simplifies the workflow so I can focus on the algorithms rather than the setup.

**What do you like best about Anaconda Core?**

1) Anaconda gives immediate access to a large, vetted collection of open source packages commonly used in data analysis, machine learning, data science and AI. 
That means you don’t have to manually install, and configure everything.

2) Through its package/environment manager (Conda), Anaconda makes it easy to create isolated environments per project, control package versions, avoid dependency conflicts, and ensure reproducibility across machines.

3) Because many data-science and ML libraries come pre-packaged or easily installable, you can start coding, data-analysis, or model prototyping almost immediately without spending a lot of time on installation and setup. This is especially useful when dealing with data preprocessing, exploratory analysis, or quick experiments.

4) Ease of Use is generally strong: I find Anaconda easy to use and its interface intuitive, especially for data-science work.

5) Ease of Implementation is good: It bundles many common libraries and tools, so setup is quick and you can start working quickly (no need to install everything manually).

6) Customer Support is OK but not exceptional: Support and documentation exist; community support and docs are often used.

7) Frequency of Use is high: I use Anaconda daily for data analysis, ML, or research work especially because of convenience of environments, libraries, and notebooks.

8) Number of Features is very good: It offers a wide set of pre-installed libraries, supports multiple languages, IDEs/notebooks, environment management, covering most data-science needs.

9) Ease of Integration is solid: I see that Anaconda integrates well with data-science tools, notebooks, and other workflows, allowing smooth setup of environments and dependencies.

**What do you dislike about Anaconda Core?**

1) Not always the most up-to-date or flexible package versions.
Because Anaconda uses curated repositories, sometimes the “latest” packages are not immediately available which might matter if you rely on the newest features or fixes.

2)Large installation size.
Anaconda tends to install a big bundle of packages by default. That consumes a lot of disk space and can lead to heavy RAM/CPU usage, sometimes noticeably slowing down even light tasks.

Dependency hell & complex package setup
With many data-science/ML libraries, installing and ensuring compatibility manually is error-prone. Conda via Anaconda gives you pre-built binary packages and handles all dependencies making setup much simpler and safer.

My journey with Anaconda started in a very unusual way — through a recommendation from an Instagram influencer who promoted it as the best entry point for beginners. I was skeptical, but I decided to give it a try. What I truly love is that Anaconda bridges the gap between a complete novice and the complex world of programming. I remember my first experience: unlike other tools where I got stuck on installation errors, Anaconda worked perfectly on the first try. That feeling of immediate success was incredibly empowering. Even though my job isn't 100% coding-related, I recently received a newsletter from Anaconda that actually worked — it brought back those warm memories of my first steps. It motivated me to return to "vibecoding" using their platform because it feels safe, inclusive, and hassle-free.

**What do you dislike about Anaconda Core?**

or a "vibecoder" or a hobbyist like me, it is hard to find real flaws. However, if I must be objective, the Anaconda Navigator can sometimes be a bit heavy and slow to launch on older machines compared to lightweight code editors. But considering it carries the entire ecosystem inside, I accept this trade-off for the convenience it provides.

Anaconda solves the "Fear of Starting." I use it to create a stress-free environment for learning and experimenting with Python without the headache of managing libraries manually. It allows me to focus on the creative side of coding rather than the technical maintenance. It keeps my motivation alive. When I tried other tools, I cooled off quickly because they felt too strict or complex. Anaconda brings back the joy and ease of use, making me feel like a developer even without a heavy technical background.

I love this platform for its powerful and robust tools to synthesize data to a more reasonable output that supports active decision making. Its interface allows co-ordination and co-operation of teams to efficiently collaborate on projects. Though there are lots to say about this platform, I feel that it is worth mentioning about the Anaconda AI Assistant that allows us to create a basic template from where we can customize further to make a complete program is really commendable. I really love its capability to export and run the chat in notebooks.

I  love most part of this platform but the price of purchasing separate packages can be high. I also would say that lots of earing is really necessary to fully explore its capacity.

I love that Anaconda AI Platform makes the user interface seamless and legible, especially for new users like me. It's a great platform for following what I'm being taught in data analysis courses on LinkedIn Learning. I find the visual clarity it provides invaluable as a beginner, helping me follow through and learn each step. The setup is amazing with a step-by-step guide and lots of materials available on the platform to help with any issues. I also appreciate the seamless user journey without any problems.

I don't know if I'm saying the right thing, but there could be the option for different language functionality. For someone like me who speaks other languages, and other people in places like Africa, I believe that with other indigenous languages available, it would help people who don't understand English because obviously the default language is English.

**What do you like best about Anaconda Core?**

I find Anaconda AI Platform really helpful for machine learning and deep learning projects because it has a built-in interpreter with most useful packages like numpy, pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch, and TensorFlow, so I don't have to manually install them. It also has all the IDEs accessible from its platform, making it easier to access, manage, and use. Installing new Python packages in the interpreter is easy through the Anaconda terminal. I like how the user interface is easy to navigate, which is very convenient for a beginner coder like me. This helps me as a beginner in the machine learning and deep learning domain to use different Python packages and access a variety of different IDEs. The initial setup was also very easy.

I don't like that it takes too long to load sometimes, and installing new packages in Anaconda terminal may need different input commands than regular Python, which can be confusing for some.

**What do you like best about Anaconda Core?**

I use Anaconda AI Platform for a research project to manage packages with dependency conflicts. I find that conda, in particular, helps me isolate certain packages in their compatible Python versions, which makes it extremely easy and reproducible. I also appreciate using Anaconda environments on Lightning AI because the ease of use and compatibility with GPUs out of the box stand out to me. It saves me a lot of time, especially on cloud environments where I would have to recompile CPython every time I use a new VM. Switching from CPython to Anaconda was a great upgrade, and I found that setting up Anaconda AI Platform was seamless, much easier than compiling my own Python.

I haven't explored it too much so I don't think I can answer that properly, but here's something that was a pain point: Wouldn't it be better if pip packages were somehow integrated into conda?

**What do you like best about Anaconda Core?**

Honestly, what I find most brilliant about the Anaconda AI Platform is that it just eliminates the "dependency hell" that usually plagues Python development.

If you’ve ever tried to manually install a dozen machine learning libraries only to have them all break because one version of NumPy didn’t agree with another, you’ll know exactly why Anaconda is such a relief. It handles all that messy wiring for you.

Here is a breakdown of what makes it stand out, from a "day-to-day use" (I use at work every week) perspective:

1. The "Batteries Included" Philosophy
The best bit is definitely the convenience of implementation. You download one installer, and suddenly you have everything you need: Python, Jupyter Notebooks, pandas, scikit-learn and hundreds of other data science packages. You don't have to spend your first afternoon hunting down libraries; you can just open a notebook and start coding immediately. It feels like moving into a furnished flat rather than an empty house.

2. Lifesaver
While pip is great, the conda package manager is the real hero here.

Safe Experimentation: It lets you create isolated "environments" for every project. You can have one environment with an old version of TensorFlow for a legacy project and another with the cutting-edge PyTorch version for something new, and they won't interfere with each other.

Non-Python Libraries: Unlike standard Python tools, Conda can install non-Python dependencies (like C libraries) that data science packages often rely on. It saves you from having to compile things from source, which can be a nightmare on Windows.

3. Running AI Locally (Cool Stuff)
Recently, they’ve added features like the AI Navigator, which allows you to download and run Large Language Models (LLMs) directly on your own laptop. This is massive for privacy. You can experiment with AI assistants without sending your data to the cloud. It turns your local machine into a private AI lab, which is incredibly empowering.

4. Agnostic and Stable
It works almost exactly the same whether you are on Windows, macOS, or Linux. This consistency is underrated but vital if you are working in a team where everyone uses different operating systems. You know that if it runs in your Anaconda environment, it’s likely to run in theirs too.

In short, I like it because it lets you focus on the maths and the code rather than the configuration. It removes the friction between having an idea and testing it out.

Note: For customer support, I have yet to experience any of it, thus I cannot comment much about it.

Perhaps this is why many of us switch to Miniconda (the stripped-down version) eventually.

**What do you like best about Anaconda Core?**

Anaconda offers an all-in-one environment that simplifies data science development and the experiment process. Dependency management with conda is usually great. The way it comes pre-installed with the most essential data science package makes it a go-to choice for any work or project to start with. Also, its integration with Jupyter Notebooks and Jupyter Lab is one of the best things that really makes Anaconda a powerful IDE that provides a smooth experience for code execution, visualization, and iterative development.

**What do you dislike about Anaconda Core?**

It's resource hungry to boot Anaconda Navigator, the start page of the Anaconda platform. So, it takes some time with a little weaker machines. And thus, a little not-so-good experience. The initial installation size is large. If using both conda and pip, it becomes a little troublesome and often causes issues. Also, conda is difficult to recreate. There is no easy way to recreate all dependencies the way we can do with poetry. Thus not preferable if working with containers.

It streamlines the setup and management of complex Python environments, solving the headache of dependency conflicts and package installation. Thus, it's really great for beginners in data science so that they can spend more time learning and working on data science rather than scratching their heads trying to install basic dependencies correctly. Features like easy environment creation, GUI-based package installation, Jupyter Lab, and notebook really make the overall data science work fun and boost confidence. Overall, it brings structure, reliability, and efficiency to the entire lifecycle of analytical tasks.
