"Making search, otherwise an afterthought, front & center to your core product"
5/5
What do you like best about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?

I love how many different use-cases one can solve with Command Bar! I mean everytime I speak to the team I learn a new and interesting thing to try out.

The easiest way to get started, imo, is just going with your user-journey and adding it as an assist to your app's current onboarding flow. Check lists, tours, all these are great for hybrid or low touch onboarding and for us it can reduce the time spent in activation by CS Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?

I honestly have not found a single thing I dislike about the Command Bar product. Like any great product, it takes time to learn and use... but so far its been a joy Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Useful for our quick experiments"
4/5
What do you like best about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?

It is very intuitive to configure/create any flow in Command Bar. The interface to create and organise your components is too easy to understand, so that any kind of role (even non-technical) can configure flows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?

I think that the dashboard/analytics for metrics analysis can be improved a lot. It should have more options. We use the tool a lot to run experiments, so the metrics of the interactions are super important. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Lives up to the Copilot branding"
5/5
What do you like best about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?

Tried lots of “custom AI chatbot” style products and most are thin wrappers around chatgpt that all basically replicate support bots. CommandBar markets their Copilot differently and I was surprised that it actually lives up to the name. The integration with their other products is slick. Being able to trigger a product tour from a chat is a neat loop that we’ve sprinkled through rough edges in the app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?

Needs more analytics. I want to use this as my primary product analytics tool instead of sending data to somewhere else. There is some well done basic analytics but more would be preferred. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to get up and running & a very responsive team!"
5/5
What do you like best about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?

The CommandBar team has been incredibly helpful in offering us feedback, providing best practices, and sorting out the occasional technical question our team has had. The web console and javascript SDK have been super easy to work with; our buildout has been smooth so far. The amount of customization and styling CommandBar offers has let us create a user experience that blends right in with the rest of our app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?

Haven't hit any major issues so far. Developing a strategy of what should be managed in their web console versus in code through the SDK to achieve the right blend of real-time editability and customization takes a bit of thinking. That being said, it's great to have both options available. I've also noticed that stemming doesn't seem to be supported when searching for content managed through their Zendesk integration. "Powerful User Helper with Easy Admin"
5/5
What do you like best about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?

CommandBar wraps several capabilities into a single tool. I expected to have to get separate tools for guides (AKA nudges), tours, a checklist, and a help desk, but CommandBar bundled it all up for me. The UI is very clean and makes setup easy.

My favorite aspect is everything is *targetable* by events, users, actions, locations within my app. So I don't have to worry about bothering users when they don't need help, or leaving them stranded when they do need help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?

There is overlap between the core Bar feature and new features like HelpHub. As CommandBar continues to add features it will get confusing as to which feature does what. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Ahead of the rest!"
5/5
What do you like best about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?

Commandbar has truly been a game changer for us. The software provides an intuitive user interface that allows for easy navigation and usage, reducing the learning curve for new users.

Two of its many standout features are its Questlist/Commands and its search widget functionalities, which are incredibly robust. I've demo'ed 15-20 competitors and none of them hold a candle to these features, which seamlessly work together. The customization options are impressive too, enabling us to personalize the software to our unique needs.

A huge shoutout to Peter and Joe who stuck with us during our lengthy testing period and worked around the clock to make sure every need was addressed. Every single one. They went above and beyond during every interaction and they ensured that we were comfortable and confident in their product. They provided world class support and made us feel like we were their top priority. I've never experienced anything like it before.

Commandbar is a very promising software that I can't recommend enough. It streamlines operations, enhances productivity and is user-friendly. It truly is an unbeatable tool in its segment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?

While there are cheaper alternatives for basic userguiding, none of them come close to full package that CommandBar provides. There is a bit of a learning curve, but that comes with all of the software options in this category. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Delightful UX and DevX!"
5/5
What do you like best about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?

CommandBar provides an easy way to map out all the functionality in our product to make it trivial for users to access it. That means they don’t need to fight against our UI or learn where a particular feature is located. This has innumerable benefits on our UX for multiple of our personas. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?

There were a few aspects of setup, including use of the SDK, that we found confusing. I think the product sometimes evolves faster than the documentation. The team was very responsive to our suggestions though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"We're going to wonder how went without it for so long."

What do you like best about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?

Product tour implementations have taken us up to a week to implement before CommandBar. With CommandBar, tours (nudges) can be launched in minutes. Nudges are easy to configure, plus they look great. Having built-in analytics puts Commandbar over-the-top compared to our prior tour toolsets.

By integrating search with CommandBar, we can determine what users are doing and what they want to do but can't (yet).

The total customizability of the service helps the bar look like a natural part of our application. We didn't even know we were using command bars on other websites we use until it was pointed out.

The Command Bar team got us up and running with a proof-of-concept very quickly, and they were there to support us every step of the way until we submitted our contract for internal approval. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Adding Atlassian Confluence integration with CommandBar HelpHub would be a nice addition. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"How CommandBar.com made our fintech app faster and easier to use"
5/5
What do you like best about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?

I like best how CommandBar makes it easy and intuitive for users to access any feature or function of an app with a simple keyboard shortcut or a quick search. It saves time and reduces frustration for users who want to get things done efficiently.👍 Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?

I don’t dislike anything about CommandBar, but I do have a minor concern that they might try to do too much and lose focus on their core features. I think they should stick with what they do best and not try to add unnecessary or complicated functions that might confuse or distract the users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to use, great support team"
4/5
What do you like best about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?

We're only getting started exploring all of the functionality that CommandBar offers beyond in-app search and documentation ingestion. So far have really appreciated the easy-to-use admin interface and the ability to test changes using the browser extension. The GitBook integration has been a big plus.

CommandBar has a really responsive and helpful support team, we've had to go back and forth a few times on cases and they do a good job of following up and developing bug fixes quickly. Shoutout to Joe for all the help! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?

Haven't run into any major issues at this point, the GitBook integration needed some improvements to support our use-case and the team has been working with us to ship those quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
