## Amplitude Guides and Surveys Reviews
 ### 1. Level up your web apps with universal search with minimal LOE

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kelsey L. | Lead Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 26, 2024

**What do you like best about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

I think a B2B app really needs universal search to look professional. CommandBar makes is so easy and painless to add this functionality to your app along with other great features like nudges and tours. They've been an awesome partner and they are always really responsive when we reach out with questions or challenges. We use CommandBar for multiple web apps.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

It would be awesome if they would add some tutorials to their docs. It would be really helpful for earlier career developers on our team who could use extra guidance.

**What problems is Amplitude Guides and Surveys solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CommandBar helps our users navigate our app. Users can search for what they are looking for (a customer, a property, a list, etc) and navigate directly to it via the universal search. We also use CommandBar when we release new features. We use CommandBar nudges and tours to draw users' attention to the new feature and guide the on how to use it.

 ### 2. Command AI can create significant leverage for your product, if you use it properly.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David V. | CEO & Co-Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2024

**What do you like best about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

Command AI becomes a core part of your product, allowing you to integrate it depeer than a traditional support chatbot. Ex: The AI Co-pilot can link you to pages or walkthroughts instead of just giving you text instructions.

It allows you to give users a 2024 experience without needing the capital or eng teams to do it.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

I don't think this is avoidable but getting the most out of Command AI requires a champion that can sell this to different teams: Tech, Product, Support, and Marketing. You will not get all the benefits if you don't have your full team onboardg.

**What problems is Amplitude Guides and Surveys solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Increase feature usage through walkthroughs and nudges
Improve user experience with user training and chatbot support
Measuring NPS and triggering actions like referrals at specific times

 ### 3. AI powered, in-app assistant

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ylani R. | Manager of Curriculum Development and Training, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

CommandBar makes it so much easier for our users to access knowledge and gain understanding of our product! We struggled with general 'how do I...?' support questions even with extensive and very detailed documentation. Our users either did not know about our documentation, or it wasn't convenient to bounce between the tool and the documentation site; CommandBar bridged that gap, and now our users have access to all the documentation and knowledge right there, without the need to open another tab. The AI chat is an all around favorite for our users and support team with the ability to ask a question and either receive step-by-step instructions or an informational paragraph as an answer. We also love that the AI is only based on the documentation and sources we provide, and not the entire internet of things.

The implementation was easier than expected, especially since our tool is based on Salesforce. Due to platform constraints, we've had to do a few workarounds, but nothing that CommandBar support couldn't handle and help us with. CommandBar support is hands down one of the best support teams I've ever worked with! They are always immediate with their response time (consistently less than an hour) and if the individual helping doesn’t have the answer, they either find the person who does, or works on it until it's resolved. Amazing team!

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

There is a bit of a learning curve and a ton of small features that have big impacts on the end user experience. We’ve had CommandBar installed for 6+ months, and as the primary Admin, I’m still discovering features and functionalities I didn’t know about.

**What problems is Amplitude Guides and Surveys solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CommandBar makes it so much easier for our users to access knowledge and gain understanding of our product by bringing our product documentation directly into the tool. This helps to cut down on 'how to' support tickets and increases general knowledge of our product.

 ### 4. CommandBar Chatbot Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zuzia Z. | Knowledge and AI Operations Expert, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 20, 2024

**What do you like best about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

CommandBar’s chat product is really reliable and we consider it a trusted teammate! One of the things we're really loving is the new auditing and shaping tools the team has introduced. The Xray feature, in particular, has been a game-changer, making it so much easier for us to understand where a response comes from and spot areas where our documentation could use a little extra love. Previously, it was much harder to identify where our documentation was lacking and how we could improve it. Working with their team has also been a dream. Their support is very attentive and genuine. All in all, this has been amazing for our team both for internal employee support and external customer support so it's being used and loved by all.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

Nothing to report here! Would love an easier way to keep track of new feature releases, since sometimes it’s hard to keep up and I just find things in the CB UI :)

**What problems is Amplitude Guides and Surveys solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CommandBar has helped us mitigate support inquiries from our customers that don't necessarily need live support to address. This has also empowered our customers to self-serve some of their inquiries thus allowing us to dedicate live support to instances that require it. Furthermore, this also gives customers 24/7 support if they need assistance outside of our live support hours. From an internal perspective, the analytics CommandBar provides us have been integral in making company-wide decisions based on the data we receive from CommandBar. In terms of resource health, the Xray feature as mentioned has been an amazing tool to use to triage gaps in our knowledge bases and address them as needed.

 ### 5. Great Product, Even Better Team!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eric B. | Product Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 16, 2024

**What do you like best about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

One of the best SaaS customer service companies I have ever worked with. The product in itself is fantastic, but onboarding platforms are not 'unique'. Beyond some of the amazing AI capabilities that CB has, their team is incredible. We were able to test drive the product enough to get internal buy in and helped out during the entire onboarding journey. But what really stands apart is that unlike other vendors, we don't only hear from them when it is renewal time. We have resources at our disposal both for any issues as well as forward moving help with adopting new features.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

Not really much to dislike. There are a few small feature gaps between their offering and where we ultimately want to go, but because of the constant two-way communication I know where those features sit on their roadmap.

**What problems is Amplitude Guides and Surveys solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We want onboarding and ongoing eduction of our product to be 'choose your own adventure', allowing our users to learn and use what they want when they want to. Between the Help Center, AI CoPilot, custom Recommendation Sets and more we are able to do that and more.

 ### 6. Great tool to sift and surface deep data

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erik L. | Product Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

Since using CommandBar our users have been able to get very technical data driven answers to unique and specific questions which would otherwise take multiple clicks and tabs to compare. CommandBar team is great to work with and understands the product very well!

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

For our specific integration, we needed to set up lots of API workflows. These are simple to set up and are pretty stable once refined. The learning curve is steep but short.

**What problems is Amplitude Guides and Surveys solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CommandBar lets an extremely large database and complex KPI logic very intuative to our end users. The smart chatbot allows new users to get comfortable and experienced users get the data they need faster than in our UI.

 ### 7. The future of user assistance

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarah O. | VP of Product, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 27, 2024

**What do you like best about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

CommandBar is the best designed version of “user help” software that I’ve come across. They make it very easy for different teams to use the tool to connect with users, for example, user researchers deploying surveys or product managers deploying tours for new features. There are two areas where CommandBar stands head and shoulders above its competitors - firstly the chatbot (both AI and non-AI) enabled us to answer user questions from both our Help documentation and our insights website, and secondly the CommandBar team are an absolute joy to work with - from my first interaction in the sales process, through to speedy implementation support via slack.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

They don’t have every single setting that I’ve seen in older/legacy tools in this space, but we have found the team extremely responsive to adding things we ask for and suggesting workarounds.

**What problems is Amplitude Guides and Surveys solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us talk to users in the product in a way that feels “on brand” and not annoying while also taking engineering out of the loop, and enabling us to track the usage and iterate on our modes of user assistance. This has been really helpful to shorten the feedback loop between someone on the team having an idea for a campaign or experiment to run, us launching the campaign, and then seeing fast results.

 ### 8. CommandBar empowers our users

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nathan L. | Senior Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 27, 2024

**What do you like best about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

CommandBar is a neat tool to power multiple in-product experiences for our company, the most notable of which are an in-site help browser and natural language search. Both contribute to our product’s ease of use and help connect users to what they want to do in our application.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

Haven’t explored all the capabilities, though I’m excited about the AI chatbot widget.

**What problems is Amplitude Guides and Surveys solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Probably best described as user experience — CommandBar’s tools help our users which is a global win for us. The product is flexible and has options for both code-first and no-code configuration, which is important for an engineering-led team like ours.

 ### 9. The best in class tool for user adoption

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ethan H. | Product Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 27, 2024

**What do you like best about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

Super simple and effective way to communicate users. We use for both proactive “guidance” style campaigns as well as help-oriented. They make it very easy to make the campaigns suggestive and not something our users are likely to dismiss, so our CTRs are much better than I would have expected with a tool like this.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

Wish I could use them for email and push notifications as well as the product-based nudging.

**What problems is Amplitude Guides and Surveys solving and how is that benefiting you?**

User communication, help guidance, remove friction, etc. All helps elevate the user experience of our product, leading to lots of downstream impact.

 ### 10. All-in-all Impressive

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shannon D. | Sales Advisor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

The product is amazing and I think it speaks for itself, but what's standing out even more is the amazing support and communication that we've had with the team. Jesse and Joe have been unbelievably helpful and showed us so much information on how CommandBar can help us in specific uce cases, without us even having to ask. They've been proactive and responsive and it's a great experience for us as users.

It's been so good for us to try this out without having to use our developer resources and ask them to code everything for us, the integration was almost effortless.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

Nothing that I've come across so far! Any small hurdles I've come across have been answered/ overcome and were always a me problem.

**What problems is Amplitude Guides and Surveys solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping us to reduce our number of support queries that require a manual response, it's helping us to be proactive with onboarding and support without having to use up development resources so that we can prioritise improvements to the product itself, and our processes as a whole.

 ### 11. Excellent tool for reducing support tickets and increasing engagement with our platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 27, 2024

**What do you like best about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

I was looking for a platform to help users in multiple ways and I really like how CommandBar combines chat with the nudges messaging product. The two play nicely together and helps us create cohesive help experiences that can serve all of our users, since many of them have specific questions and requirements.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

Wish it were easier to keep track of all the team’s product updates.

**What problems is Amplitude Guides and Surveys solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CommandBar pays for itself in ticket deflection alone. And then there are other benefits like better onboarding and overall less user confusion. Tons of benefits from this tool. The admin interface is also extremely easy to use relative to other SaaS apps I’ve used in the space — huge win because it means I create more campaigns and run more experiments in the tool.

 ### 12. Powerful, User-Friendly Tool for Engagement and Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amaury R. | Customer Support Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 05, 2024

**What do you like best about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

CommandBar helps guide our users toward important actions while letting us communicate with them easily. The AI support bot is our go-to for customer help, and both features have clean, easy-to-use interfaces. We also love how the no-code platform makes it simple to experiment and improve things. Plus, the team is great at making sure the tool is helpful without being annoying to users.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

I just wish they offered more, like human support and email communication features.

**What problems is Amplitude Guides and Surveys solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CommandBar helps us reduce support tickets with the AI agent and boosts engagement and onboarding with its nudges. It also provides valuable user insights—kind of like a feedback tool—since we can run surveys and learn from chat logs too.

 ### 13. CommandBar Delivers Trustworthy AI Chat Experiences

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christine L. | Documentation Manager, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2024

**What do you like best about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

I can trust CommandBar in front of our users. With generative AI, there’s a risk that a chatbot won’t represent the company well. With CommandBar’s chat product, I’m confident in the answer quality and in our ability to use their tools to identify any hallucinations or suboptimal responses quickly and iterate on them.
Additionally, CommandBar's customer support is top-notch!

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

Built-in advanced analytics would enable us to assess user interactions directly within CommandBar, eliminating the need for third-party integrations to analyze our data externally.

**What problems is Amplitude Guides and Surveys solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CommandBar helps us take advantage of all the content we write to produce a personalized experience for users that “fits into” our product and the way we support our customers through other channels.

 ### 14. addresses most of our historic pain points

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 27, 2024

**What do you like best about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

We were looking for a solution to help our users inside our platform, with targetted Tours, Checklists, Contents and Annoucements. Commandbar checked all boxes.

Plus, the product elegantly combines AI chat and messaging. I like that both products aimed at helping users sit under one - doesn’t make sense to me that many products only do one. The implementation of AI chat is very well done.

Analytics allow us to understand where to improve and which content to update.

They also have a great support team who've been helping on a few topics since we onboarded recently.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

More training and “academy” type examples. Some times I feel like I am only scratching the surface of the tool.

**What problems is Amplitude Guides and Surveys solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ticket deflection from our support team and better user engagement across the board. Really cool to see the impact this tool has had our own business in multiple ways.

 ### 15. If you're not using Commanbar, you're falling behind

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anthony B. | Customer Success Expert, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 31, 2024

**What do you like best about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

The sales process felt extremely smooth, which is rare in 2024. It felt much more like making sure it was a match and making sure Commandbar could help us reach our goals.

Within our first few weeks, we saw a 235% increase in support deflection... 75% of our customer questions are now answered by Copilot.

On top of Copilot, we've seen an increase in customers who self-serve thanks to the HelpHub and Spotlight, which have helped us prompt our users to take the actions we need them to take.

It's also been great having everything under the same tool, without compromising quality or functionalities: Product tours, announcements, surveys, checklists, etc. We've seem great early results, and can't wait to improve those results.

Last but not least... Despite being a startup, we feel like Commandbar values our business and is always there to help. They have great support via Slack and we have check-ins with a dedicated CSM to help us reach our goals.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

We hit a few roadblocks with the implementation, which was more complex and time-consuming than we expected (mostly for our devs).

That's really all I can think of :)

**What problems is Amplitude Guides and Surveys solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1. Self-service and deflecting support requests = giving back time to our team to focus on the product
2. Increasing our conversion rate from free to paid
3. Increasing customer satisfaction

 ### 16. Super configurable & customizable, but not confusing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cameron O. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 10, 2024

**What do you like best about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

CommandBar allows us to bring resources that our customers use the most to the forefront, directly within our app. One of best parts of CommandBar is that it can be used by multiple teams without requiring an official “admin” like with some other tools. It’s set up in a way that makes it easy for different folks to make changes / run experiments to see how they impact users. Different nudges, different copy, A/B tests, etc. This is the “Air traffic control” feature for those looking for this in the product.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

Nothing comes to mind for dislikes about CommandBar. It's a great tool for what we need it to do! Really want to try the Copilot product to see if it’s accurate enough to put in front of our users but we haven’t gotten around to this yet.

**What problems is Amplitude Guides and Surveys solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CommandBar allows our customers to easily search our Help Articles directly within our app and helps our users discover how our product can be useful to them. It’s configurable in a way that lets multiple teams take advantage of it. The resource center and Spotlight products do a great job of letting users find what they’re looking for without forcing them down a path that might not be relevant to them.

 ### 17. Command Bar is a great tool.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 27, 2024

**What do you like best about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

Very useful and configurable tool for helping users. The chatbot is our main use case, but we also use it for the proactive “nudge” messaging. Really cool to have both in one platform. The chatbot performs well out of the box and also comes with lots of configuration tooling which is critical for a generative AI tool.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

I think the tool would be improved by allowing us to try models beyond OpenAI, though the team has said they are working on this.

**What problems is Amplitude Guides and Surveys solving and how is that benefiting you?**

User communication and help. We wanted a way to give users personalized help at scale and CommandBar has been a really effective solution for that.

 ### 18. Commandbar had helped us make things better for customers.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 27, 2024

**What do you like best about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

Really like how Commandbar helps drive users to outcomes. The tool has saved us lots of conversations like “how do we make it easier for user type X to do Y”. The analytics we get back are very helpful for informing product conversations.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

Haven’t evaluated all the different features so can’t comment on everything. Overall, the documentation was stale for a while but has since improved.

**What problems is Amplitude Guides and Surveys solving and how is that benefiting you?**

User engagement with features that matter to them. Both in response to what the user asks about, and proactive. This impacts other metrics we care about as a team. For example engagement is a leading indicator of NRR.

 ### 19. Awesome product and great CX

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Caio A. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2024

**What do you like best about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

CommandBar stands out with its user-centric design, setting it apart in the realm of User Assistance. The commitment to user satisfaction is evident not only through the high-quality experiences delivered to customers but also in the comprehensive developer experience provided by their toolkit. It's absolutely eye candy, easy to reason about and it just works.

Using CommandBar has proven to be a game-changer for us, empowering our product and domain experts to unleash their creativity and swiftly test hypotheses with minimal engineering dependencies. Their expertise has been instrumental in addressing our queries promptly and efficiently.

CommandBar not only delivers a stellar product but also excels in providing a holistic experience that fosters innovation and collaboration. It has become an indispensable tool for our team, and I can confidently recommend it to anyone seeking a cutting-edge solution with top-notch support.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

I'm excited to see more management features for scaling coming out soon.

**What problems is Amplitude Guides and Surveys solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Blazing fast delivery!

 ### 20. Game Changer for our Team and Customers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Meg L. | Knowledge Operations Expert, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2024

**What do you like best about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

We needed a solution that connected our customers and team to our knowledge bases faster. Commandbar was the easy choice when we tested it out, and came with extra wins for our product and marketing teams to utilize. We launched with Helphub and Copilot and are building our next launch with Nudges, and have been impressed with the tool so far. We have been able to use the answers given and missed by copilot to review our content and make improvements to better serve our customers and support team. The Commandbar team has also been fantastic. Right from the outset they were quick and friendly in their communications, and always open to jumping on a call with our team to come up with solutions when we hit any blockers or decision points. Looking forward to their future roadmap!

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

Some of the admin and analytics UI can be confusing to navigate. The Copilot analytics could offer more filtering options and the answer rate resetting on the first of the month is a headache. That said, the team has been very open to our feature requests and have made improvements elsewhere in the analytics recently, so hoping for more co-pilot analytics updates soon!

**What problems is Amplitude Guides and Surveys solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have answers to many common customer and team questions available in our knowledge bases already, but finding them and reviewing all of the information to get to the answer you need can take time. Copilot and Helphub are helping them get right to the answer they need in the moment and connecting them to the collective knowledge of our team when they need us.

 ### 21. Great Product and easy to use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christian C. | Operations Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2024

**What do you like best about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

The product is always changing and upgrading for the better. I am at a startup and we recently signed up to use CommandBar, I love the product so far and have never run into any issues super easy to use. The customization and personalization is top-tier as well as the customer service/help you receive. At any time I can reach out to anyone from their team and they will help me with any question I have. It integrated pretty easily with our technology and looks great!

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

I have not ran into any issues or problems.

**What problems is Amplitude Guides and Surveys solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The onboarding and help center is benefiting us a ton!

 ### 22. Awesome toolkit with cool AI

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Farzad R. | Founder & CEO, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2023

**What do you like best about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

CommandBar excels in its field with unique user-driven widgets, allowing users to search for information while avoiding the overload of pop-ups seen in other tools. Their nudges are easily set up by any team member, triggering context-specific prompts based on user behavior. Additionally, Copilot AI provides concise, accurate responses and can initiate interactive tours. Unlike other tools in the space, CommandBar is seamless to integrate and manage, free from messaging collisions, and is a standout choice compared to similar products.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

While the SDK docs are comprehensive, the examples did not match exactly what I was looking for. Fortunately the team was very responsive.

**What problems is Amplitude Guides and Surveys solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CommandBar helps us with our new user onboarding and self service. It's really cool to see some of the situations where users interacted with the Copilot AI to not only get the right answer to a question, but then launch into a feature walkthrough to give them the full details.

 ### 23. Using CommandBar for in-product AI help

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex S. | IT, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2023

**What do you like best about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

Copilot is one of the coolest applications of AI I’ve seen. The first thing I love is that the answers we get out of it are somehow better than other “GPT wrapper chatbots” that we’ve tried. Kudos to the CommandBar team for figuring out a prompt system that prevents the bot from answering questions that involve information outside of its training set and also being relatively concise (a big problem we have found with other similar products). The ability to trigger tours from the copilot bot is also really cool and not something we’ve found elsewhere.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

Sometimes Copilot can be long-winded in a typical ChatGPT way. Our users don’t have much tolerance for reading so we’ve fiddled with CommandBar’s controls to get Copilot to be more concise and most of the time it works well.

**What problems is Amplitude Guides and Surveys solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CommandBar is helping answers our users' questions while also teaching them how to use our product. It's a really neat combination of customer support functionality but also product adoption/engagement/enhancement.

 ### 24. A different take on a classic problem

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zheka D. | engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2023

**What do you like best about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

We’ve tried basically every tool in the space (and found a lot of them through G2) and can’t help shake the feeling like they’re all copying each others products because they are all very similar. CommandBar was the first tool we tried that felt like it was doing something relatively unique with the way they have widgets where users can ask questions or search for things. I really like that approach because it “scales” better with users (you can only show them so many modals / pop-ups).

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

Some of the same limitations we’ve seen with other products in the space where the initial setup to load in data for personalizing messages can require engineering effort, since we don’t use an analytics tool that we can connect up to CommandBar.

**What problems is Amplitude Guides and Surveys solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We went with COmmandbar to solve the core product adoption problem that every company I’ve worked for faces, and we felt like CommandBar had the most elegant solution which doesn’t rely on an overly “interrupting” approach to steer users in the right direction.

 ### 25. CommandBar - AI that truly levels up the product

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

Our organization talked a lot about how AI assistance could really level up the user experience, and CommandBar delivers that in full! We've invested a lot in our product documentation, and CommandBar's Help Hub and AI assitant makes all that documentation so much easier and nicer to interface with.

The implementation team at CommandBar has been super responsive and helpful, guiding us on the implementation, and reviewing feedback.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

There are some features and configuration that CommandBar was unfamiliar with, so there have been some challenges getting this to look 1-to-1 with our own helpcenter, but the CommandBar team has been meeting with us regularly to help come up with answers, and has even dedicated resources to add new functionality!

**What problems is Amplitude Guides and Surveys solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Previously our HelpCenter documentation was difficult to interface within the product. CommandBar provides an elegant preview into our documentation, and their AI allows us to offer useful support to customer's questions.

 ### 26. Great Customer Service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Delta H. | Associate Director, Customer Relations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

I love that I can create a hands-off onboarding process by utilizing CommandBar to capture all my How-To's and FAQs

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

It took me a bit to get familiar with how everything works and I'm still learning as I go but the customer service is great and they've been very helpful.

**What problems is Amplitude Guides and Surveys solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CommandBar simplifies the onboarding process.

 ### 27. A platform for our teams to assist users

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ross I. | Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2023

**What do you like best about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

Basically every SaaS product calls itself a SaaS platform nowadays but I like the way CommandBar’s system makes it easy for any team member to build experiences that show up in the product according to their needs. So I’m happy for them to be called a platform. Other tools we’ve tried in the space don’t do a good job of handling collisions or rate limiting and so users end up bombarded.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

Some documentation for more advanced features like their release control system was lacking. It would be nice if these features had the same level of documentation as the more basic stuff.

**What problems is Amplitude Guides and Surveys solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CommandBar allows our product team to create tours for new features, our marketing team to drive attendance for events like webinars, and customer team members to create tutorials that are specific to their customer accounts.

 ### 28. I don’t feel bad about using this tool to interrupt users

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul N. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2023

**What do you like best about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

A lot of tools in the DAP grid that I have used in the past felt like “being rude” to users and shouting at them. When the time came to use one of these tools in my current company I was resistant because I’d seen those negative results more. So I liked / appreciated commandbar’s approach to targeting that tries to avoid this type of untargeted messaging to users, “air traffic control” style. We have not yet used the assistance part of the product but i like how it can be tied together with the nudges.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

As others have mentioned the relationship between widgets is not always clear. It would be nice to see some templates that incorporated multiple widgets so you can see what kind of cross linking can be done with multiple that can’t be achieved with one.

**What problems is Amplitude Guides and Surveys solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The core job to be done is still messaging to users. It’s the approach that is different and benefiting us above other tools that I have worked with. I feel less bad about putting this tool in the hands of other people at our company because there are some guardrails against abuse and users losing trust in what we are doing.

 ### 29. Great nudges in our product

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vlad O. | Brand Partnerships, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2023

**What do you like best about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

We use CommandBar exclusively for their nudges. We’re excited about trying out the other parts of the platform but for now are focused on creating a simple way to intervene when our users don’t complete critical flows or end up confused in the product. We love that the nudges are easy for any team member to set up and can be triggered at key times based on user behavior. In the other products we tested we were only able to set up explicit if else logic for message triggering.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

We have only evaluated the nudges product so I can’t review the other elements of the platform or their pros and cons.

**What problems is Amplitude Guides and Surveys solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have been able to meaningfully increase completion of product flows that we know correlate with long-term success of our users. This was the goal of our project in adopting CommandBar so you can consider us happy users, and we are sufficiently impressed to want to try the other parts of the platform even though they were originally out of scope.

 ### 30. Cutting edge technology backed by a dedicated team that goes above and beyond

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jia A. | Senior Product Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 15, 2023

**What do you like best about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

Our company used CommandBar to back our first experiment with AI by releasing a public facing chatbot via their HelpHub feature. From the moment we connected with the CommandBar team, we were connected with a dedicated team of representatives that are extremely responsive and eager to work with us to develop and release a solution that fit our use case. The team is constantly adding new features and improving their product and we feel that our feedback is truly appreciated and considered.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

We have no complaints so far! As with any vendor, there are negotiations around pricing, but the team has been very willing to work with us given the current economic stateand our internal budget.

**What problems is Amplitude Guides and Surveys solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CommandBar is helping our company tackle our knowledge distribution challenges. Our company holds a vast amount of knowledge on certain topics and our goals is to make that knowledge more accessible to our end users. CommandBar's features help us surface knowledge using innovative AI technology in an easy, simple to implement solution.

 ### 31. Great product that has a ton of potential

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nick B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 13, 2023

**What do you like best about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

I love how easy it is for us to run tests, announcements, feature nudges, and get feedback from users after they take specific actions in our app. It's made it easier than ever to communicate quickly and timely to our customers.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

I really wish the analytics was more robust. Since we run a lot of tests with CommandBar, we'd like to see more data on the backend, especially for nudges. Right now, you can only see your high-level analytics for nudges and cannot drill down to each individual campaign. Would also love to see more flexibility with surveys (if/then for multi-step surveys).

**What problems is Amplitude Guides and Surveys solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CommandBar is solving the problem of communicating with your audience quickly and in a contextualized way. We are benefiting from it in a few ways. We run nudges for new features and for the first time a user tries a complex feature, we collect feedback on comlpex features after they've completed them, we run announcements for upcoming events available to our customers, and we use the command bar functionality to help customers complete tasks quickly around the app.

 ### 32. Excellent UX Design and Usability for improving CX across your applications

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashwin V. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 04, 2023

**What do you like best about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

The design and features that help our users use our app without getting in their way or looking clunky. Like many products we’ve got a lot of powerful features that are sometimes hard to figure out. This is just as true for people using us for a while and new users. CommandBar has a couple products that we’ve found useful to help our users, specifically Helphub and Copilot.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

Sometimes the Copilot responses can be hard to shape using just the system prompt, since the system right now uses the OpenAI APIs (with all of its limitations).

**What problems is Amplitude Guides and Surveys solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CommandBar improves our products usability which we expect will make a difference to user happiness and product adoption, which are valuable metrics for our business. We also use tools like Pendo & Heap to amplify our ability to identify user behavior and leverage analytics to help drive data driven decision making.

 ### 33. Useful and effective help for our users

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 08, 2024

**What do you like best about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

I really enjoy using CommandBar’s tools to help our users get more value out of our product. The biggest observation I have about tools in this space is that being specific and personalized in the way we interact with users within our product can make a huge difference in our ability to influence them. CommandBar makes this easier than other tools I’ve found because of their intuitive targeting functionality and clean admin interface.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

Previewing how nudges will work for our users sometimes requires a few more steps than I’d like. The new preview flow that the team rolled out recently is a massive improvement.

**What problems is Amplitude Guides and Surveys solving and how is that benefiting you?**

If we don’t effectively communicate with our users in-product, they won’t take full advantage of what we’re building. CommandBar bridges the gap between our product team and our users/customers.

 ### 34. If we didn't have CommandBar for our app, we would have to build some inferior solution

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David H. | Co-Founder and CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 29, 2023

**What do you like best about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

CommandBar gives us multiple “levers” to impact user experience. We can pick and choose the levers that are most relevant for whatever goal we are focusing on at the moment. For example, we can use nudges to drive attention towards valuable features. We can use HelpHub to get users to common support questions without having to pay a support agent to respond to them (and the typical slowness of a human-based chat).

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

I wish there were a public API to be able to pull analytics data from CommandBar into other tools. There is a client-side SDK but not a public API as far as a I know.

**What problems is Amplitude Guides and Surveys solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use CommandBar to help users onboard themselves, nudge them towards desired behaviors, and help them discover new features. We also use it to add keyboard shortcuts and navigation through our app. Last, we use CB to help users access self-servce support around the clock.

 ### 35. CommandBar's dedication to improvement and new features is truly exciting!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** LaSondra C. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 14, 2024

**What do you like best about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

Self-service capabilities within the application give clients greater control and flexibility, boosting satisfaction and efficiency. With Commandbar's product tours, our team and clients can explore new features at their own pace, maximizing their understanding and adoption.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

A suggestion for further development: While the current analytics are helpful, I believe they could be enhanced by including functionalities like viewing specific user page views and referral URLs. This additional data would be incredibly valuable for understanding user behavior and driving platform improvements.

**What problems is Amplitude Guides and Surveys solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Offering a self-service portal puts our clients in control, enhancing their experience and reducing their reliance on support resources.

 ### 36. CommandBar allows our users to quickly navigate our product

**Reviewed by:** Robert C. | Full Stack Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 16, 2023

**What do you like best about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

We use CommandBar at Basedash to allow people to navigate around our product easily. It was easy to setup and customize. They docs are thorough and they support on Slack has been great. Even non-techincal people on our team can make adjustments to CommandBar from their UI.

As others have noted, the CommandBar team's customer service has been top notch.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

We haven't had a desire for anything more that CommandBar doesn't already offer. Hower, it would be cool to see more advanced keyboard shortcut controls.

 ### 37. Obvious but fun AI use case

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 16, 2023

**What do you like best about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

Lots of random AI products floating around. The CommandBar use case actually makes a lot of sense. Was pleased to see that there was more there than just custom chat with custom training data. Sometimes answers from chatbots are verbose, much nicer to give a user a next step that can solve their problem or just do something for them.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

Haven’t checked out much beyond the Copilot / AI feature and the widgets that integrate with it. The next one on my list is the in-product help center widget which is less next-gen but something I have found useful in other products.

**What problems is Amplitude Guides and Surveys solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Found CommandBar through a service we use and wanted to bring the same style of user help to our product. The types of results we’ve seen our pretty high engagement with the service, overall more feature usage, some nice compliments, and has been useful to see the kinds of things that users ask about through the chatbot. Considering rolling out the spotlight one just to expand the number of ways users have to tell us things that they want in the product.

 ### 38. Stacked up well against DAP alternatives assessed

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeff B. | Co-Founder & CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2023

**What do you like best about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

We found CommandBar via G2 and there are a lot of vendors on the grid. We evaluated many of them. Some just via the website and others put through a substantial trial, including CommandBar. CommandBar performed the best in user testing, and also scored very highly on ease of setup. As a result we chose to work with them.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

We use a relatively niche vendor for our success center and CommandBar did not have an out-of-the-box integration while other vendors did. Obviously this was not a deal breaker for us.

**What problems is Amplitude Guides and Surveys solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our primary evaluation criteria were: user engagement and progression through our user funnel. We are confident in the core features of our product but found that most users, especially those who did not engage with our sales or success team. We saw DAP as a solution to this problem and CommandBar emerged as the most effective tool.

 ### 39. Leveled up our search & product update announcements 🔥

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katy M. | Senior Product Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 25, 2023

**What do you like best about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

I cannot say enough positive things about CommandBar!

As our product has grown more complex over time, we've developed a need for a search tool to help users navigate easily. It was easy for our engineers to integrate CommandBar into our product, and I love that it's easy for non-engineers to maintain. As a product designer, I can update the commands any time and continue improving our search without relying on engineering support.

Recently, we've also started using CommandBar's nudges to announce new features and get user feedback on those launches. Our users love learning about new features within the product, and have asked for more updates to be announced this way. People have been pleasantly surprised that we can spin up a nudge in a matter of minutes, compared to multiple hours of engineering time to create something similar in-house. Our product team has also gotten valuable feedback on what users think about the things they're launching, through ratings and free-text input. CommandBar's admin console and analytics tools are very user-friendly and have everything we need to manage these easily.

As others have previously mentioned, the small but mighty CommandBar team truly prioritizes their customers and responds to questions super quickly. As just one example, I requested a Confluence integration so that our internal help center could be accesssed from within the search bar, and had zero expectations that they would support it anytime soon. They proved me wrong by having it up and running in about a week, and even followed up to let me know. That was really remarkable.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

I'd like a way for users to be able to easily access nudges they may have dismissed previously and want to get back to again. Some of our users perform time-sensitive tasks and don't have the time to look at a nudge right away. There's a way to access previously dismissed nudges within the Bar, but it's not intuitive to users to look for nudges there because they view it purely as a search tool.

**What problems is Amplitude Guides and Surveys solving and how is that benefiting you?**

 ### 40. Command Bar is our Universal Experience Bar

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Xiaoran Z. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

Commandbar integration was seamless for us, most importantly the white labeling made it look like it's part of our product. It also has full functionality of everything we were looking for in a universal experience bar.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

Wish the questlist and nudges are a bit more prominent on the UI so they can catch the eye of the user.

**What problems is Amplitude Guides and Surveys solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were looking for an all in one solution for our users to navigate different features in our product (Cmd+K). We found that in commandbar - Search, Jump to, Navigation, Help docs all in one. The best thing is the development cycle was very short because the UI was easy to configure for an admin and the sdk was easy to integrate for our development team. We were live in under a week of time.

 ### 41. Making search, otherwise an afterthought, front & center to your core product

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sidd G. | Team Lead, Customer Success, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 20, 2023

**What do you like best about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

I love how many different use-cases one can solve with Command Bar! I mean everytime I speak to the team I learn a new and interesting thing to try out.

The easiest way to get started, imo, is just going with your user-journey and adding it as an assist to your app's current onboarding flow. Check lists, tours, all these are great for hybrid or low touch onboarding and for us it can reduce the time spent in activation by CS

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

I honestly have not found a single thing I dislike about the Command Bar product. Like any great product, it takes time to learn and use... but so far its been a joy

**What problems is Amplitude Guides and Surveys solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We received feedback from customers that they wanted an easier way to search within the product for their conversations, tags, and other important metadata that is relevant for them. Prior to Command Bar, this was all done via filters and was somewhat disconnected.

Through Command Bar, we now have a single place to go where users can easily (and i mean easily) find any content. It even looks amazing bc of how simple it was to pass through icons (custoemer logos). 10/10 exp

 ### 42. Useful for our quick experiments

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Catalina C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 31, 2023

**What do you like best about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

It is very intuitive to configure/create any flow in Command Bar. The interface to create and organise your components is too easy to understand, so that any kind of role (even non-technical) can configure flows.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

I think that the dashboard/analytics for metrics analysis can be improved a lot. It should have more options. We use the tool a lot to run experiments, so the metrics of the interactions are super important.

**What problems is Amplitude Guides and Surveys solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is currently solving two things for us.
a) additional information we want to give our users, instead of taking them to a small article, we can give them information through the command bar elements (so as not to take the user out of the web app).
b) running experiments to quickly get feedback on our web app.

 ### 43. Lives up to the Copilot branding

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Henry C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 16, 2023

**What do you like best about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

Tried lots of “custom AI chatbot” style products and most are thin wrappers around chatgpt that all basically replicate support bots. CommandBar markets their Copilot differently and I was surprised that it actually lives up to the name. The integration with their other products is slick. Being able to trigger a product tour from a chat is a neat loop that we’ve sprinkled through rough edges in the app.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

Needs more analytics. I want to use this as my primary product analytics tool instead of sending data to somewhere else. There is some well done basic analytics but more would be preferred.

**What problems is Amplitude Guides and Surveys solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping users figuring out how to do stuff in our product in a way that doesn’t enrage them. We tried to avoid dark patterns in our product and a helpful user assistant is a nice pattern.

 ### 44. Easy to get up and running & a very responsive team!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matt L. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 29, 2023

**What do you like best about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

The CommandBar team has been incredibly helpful in offering us feedback, providing best practices, and sorting out the occasional technical question our team has had. The web console and javascript SDK have been super easy to work with; our buildout has been smooth so far. The amount of customization and styling CommandBar offers has let us create a user experience that blends right in with the rest of our app.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

Haven't hit any major issues so far. Developing a strategy of what should be managed in their web console versus in code through the SDK to achieve the right blend of real-time editability and customization takes a bit of thinking. That being said, it's great to have both options available. I've also noticed that stemming doesn't seem to be supported when searching for content managed through their Zendesk integration.

**What problems is Amplitude Guides and Surveys solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps our customers more easily access our help center and other support content while maintaining the context of what they're working on.
Makes it easier to navigate around our app.

 ### 45. Powerful User Helper with Easy Admin

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 25, 2023

**What do you like best about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

CommandBar wraps several capabilities into a single tool. I expected to have to get separate tools for guides (AKA nudges), tours, a checklist, and a help desk, but CommandBar bundled it all up for me. The UI is very clean and makes setup easy.

My favorite aspect is everything is *targetable* by events, users, actions, locations within my app. So I don't have to worry about bothering users when they don't need help, or leaving them stranded when they do need help.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

There is overlap between the core Bar feature and new features like HelpHub. As CommandBar continues to add features it will get confusing as to which feature does what.

**What problems is Amplitude Guides and Surveys solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CommandBar solves the problem of users getting lost in my app an needing a nudge to the next step or an answer to a question they have along the way. Ultimately, CommpandBar helps speed onboarding & usage and reduces churn.

 ### 46. Ahead of the rest!

**What do you like best about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

Commandbar has truly been a game changer for us. The software provides an intuitive user interface that allows for easy navigation and usage, reducing the learning curve for new users.

Two of its many standout features are its Questlist/Commands and its search widget functionalities, which are incredibly robust. I've demo'ed 15-20 competitors and none of them hold a candle to these features, which seamlessly work together. The customization options are impressive too, enabling us to personalize the software to our unique needs.

A huge shoutout to Peter and Joe who stuck with us during our lengthy testing period and worked around the clock to make sure every need was addressed. Every single one. They went above and beyond during every interaction and they ensured that we were comfortable and confident in their product. They provided world class support and made us feel like we were their top priority. I've never experienced anything like it before.

Commandbar is a very promising software that I can't recommend enough. It streamlines operations, enhances productivity and is user-friendly. It truly is an unbeatable tool in its segment.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

While there are cheaper alternatives for basic userguiding, none of them come close to full package that CommandBar provides. There is a bit of a learning curve, but that comes with all of the software options in this category.

**What problems is Amplitude Guides and Surveys solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are in the early stages of creating a knowledge base for our software and CommandBar is allowing us to standout from our competitors. Our software is a bit complex and difficult to navigate, but this allows us to drastically simplify it.

 ### 47. Delightful UX and DevX!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

CommandBar provides an easy way to map out all the functionality in our product to make it trivial for users to access it. That means they don’t need to fight against our UI or learn where a particular feature is located. This has innumerable benefits on our UX for multiple of our personas.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

There were a few aspects of setup, including use of the SDK, that we found confusing. I think the product sometimes evolves faster than the documentation. The team was very responsive to our suggestions though.

**What problems is Amplitude Guides and Surveys solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Better user experience impacts our ability to get new client up and running fast. It also means our support team doesn’t have to deal with tickets of users asking how to do things in the user interface (instead they can focus on the more complex problems that come through our chat).

 ### 48. We're going to wonder how went without it for so long.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

Product tour implementations have taken us up to a week to implement before CommandBar. With CommandBar, tours (nudges) can be launched in minutes. Nudges are easy to configure, plus they look great. Having built-in analytics puts Commandbar over-the-top compared to our prior tour toolsets.

By integrating search with CommandBar, we can determine what users are doing and what they want to do but can't (yet).

The total customizability of the service helps the bar look like a natural part of our application. We didn't even know we were using command bars on other websites we use until it was pointed out.

The Command Bar team got us up and running with a proof-of-concept very quickly, and they were there to support us every step of the way until we submitted our contract for internal approval.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

Adding Atlassian Confluence integration with CommandBar HelpHub would be a nice addition.

**What problems is Amplitude Guides and Surveys solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Launching product tours without additional dev work.

Identifying unknown unknowns in user behavior through deadends reporting.

Suppression of tours/messaging with user-specific tracking instead of cookie-based tracking prevents duplicate tours.

 ### 49. How CommandBar.com made our fintech app faster and easier to use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Guy R. | Co-founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 16, 2023

**What do you like best about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

I like best how CommandBar makes it easy and intuitive for users to access any feature or function of an app with a simple keyboard shortcut or a quick search. It saves time and reduces frustration for users who want to get things done efficiently.👍

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

I don’t dislike anything about CommandBar, but I do have a minor concern that they might try to do too much and lose focus on their core features. I think they should stick with what they do best and not try to add unnecessary or complicated functions that might confuse or distract the users.

**What problems is Amplitude Guides and Surveys solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I want to give my consumers the finest user experience possible as the owner of a SaaS platform. However, I am also aware that some users may find my app's numerous features and capabilities to be confusing or difficult to locate. That's why I made the decision to employ CommandBar, a tool that enables users to quickly search for or access any feature or functionality of my program with just a keyboard shortcut. They can complete tasks more quickly and easily in this manner, avoiding confusion or frustration. This helps me because it lowers the number of support requests and complaints while also enhancing client retention and happiness.

 ### 50. Easy to use, great support team

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

We're only getting started exploring all of the functionality that CommandBar offers beyond in-app search and documentation ingestion. So far have really appreciated the easy-to-use admin interface and the ability to test changes using the browser extension. The GitBook integration has been a big plus.

CommandBar has a really responsive and helpful support team, we've had to go back and forth a few times on cases and they do a good job of following up and developing bug fixes quickly. Shoutout to Joe for all the help!

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Guides and Surveys?**

Haven't run into any major issues at this point, the GitBook integration needed some improvements to support our use-case and the team has been working with us to ship those quickly.

**What problems is Amplitude Guides and Surveys solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making it easier for users to navigate our product and search for/find documentation. Also looking into other use-cases around UI modals, guides, nudges, etc., but happy with the integration without those things as well. Excited to dive into Help Hub and the AI Support functionality later this year, too.
