What do you like best about Amplitude Activation?

Amplitude makes it easy to understand user behavior and drive activation. I really like the cohort analysis and funnel reports, which show where users drop off and what actions lead to successful onboarding. The Segmentation and Retention analysis help identify patterns that impact activation and long-term engagement. The dashboards are clean, shareable, and great for both product and growth teams. What do you dislike about Amplitude Activation?

Because it's such a powerful platform, there’s a steep learning curve initially. Some of the advanced reports can feel complex without proper training. What do you like best about Amplitude Activation?

What do you dislike about Amplitude Activation?

I absolutely dislike the data export process, and that was the main reason why I wanted to write a review.

Why, when there are more than 10,000 rows in a CSV file, do I have to go to my email and wait for an uncertain amount of time for my file to be uploaded (can't this be done within Amplitude)?

Additionally, why is there a tabulation added to each column when there are fewer than 10,000 rows? (I have better things to do than clean up the data)

Furthermore, in the funnel, I would like to see the ability to perform more than one grouping. For instance, let's say I want to group at the second step of the funnel, why do I need a breakdown at the first step? Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Amplitude Activation?

Very easy to build segments, and the best thing is that these can be created from a chart during exploration and analysis phase in the Amplitute analytics suite. In addition, the look back window is quite generous, and live segments can be synced with platforms at very high frequency if needed. Amplitude supports sync with Google and Meta, which has been working quite well recently without any errors or bugs. Very easy to integrate with various destinations. What do you dislike about Amplitude Activation?

There is a limit to the number of live sync audiences that can be pushed to buying platforms (unless subscription is upgraded to a more expensive level). The number of ad network destination supported could be improved – for example, main programmatic buying platforms are missing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Amplitude Activation?

I like how easy it is to make charts, visualize the information with different segmentations, how you can create dashboards with the charts that you already have, we can forecast our data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I don't like that you cant make some conversions of events, like with specific properties, with different connections between the two events. And you cant make charts of this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Amplitude Activation?

I like many things about Amplitude. In general, I think is very intuitive, which allows not only analysts but product managers and engineers to extract insights and build charts without major efforts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amplitude Activation?

I dislike, that sometimes is difficult to reproduce a report or dashboard, as when you create a copy of the report you have to rebuild the charts if you need to change user segments or timeframes. Second, the global filters in the dashboards don't always work, limiting the functionality. Finally, sometimes difficult to add someone new to change a dashboard as you have to grant individual access by the chart. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Amplitude Activation?

The tool is very potent; you can get a lot of insights from your users and query it easily and fast. It offers you many options to send your events (properties, etc..) and to get information from them. What I like most is how you can build the funnel of your users and see where you have more dropoff. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amplitude Activation?

I would highlight two points: the little flexibility to change the description of events/properties when making an error. That event cannot be erased, modified, etc. You should create a new one, and your dataset in production stays a little dirty. The second one would be the learning curve.
