What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude Analytics enables me to truly understand how users interact with our product. Instead of relying on guesswork, I now have access to clear, event-based insights that reveal exactly what users are doing throughout our platform. This clarity helps our teams pinpoint the factors that drive activation, engagement, and retention, moving us away from assumptions and toward data-driven decisions.
By examining funnels, user paths, and retention metrics, Amplitude makes it straightforward to identify where users are dropping off and which behaviors are linked to long-term success. For example, after launching a new acquisition funnel, we used Amplitude daily to track its performance and to analyze where and why users were most likely to leave the process.
Another advantage is that everyone in the company can access the tool and independently gather insights, without needing to know SQL or rely heavily on the data team. This self-serve capability empowers all team members to make informed decisions.
Amplitude has also simplified the implementation and management of A/B tests and experiments. Previously, it was challenging to run and centralize multiple tests, especially given our limited traffic. Now, with features like mutually exclusive groups and holdout groups, Amplitude offers promising solutions to these limitations, although we have not yet fully tested these capabilities.
Overall, Amplitude benefits me by delivering faster answers to product questions, eliminating the need to wait for custom reports. It fosters clear alignment across product, growth, and engineering teams by providing a shared, reliable source of product and digital data. This enables us to make decisions based on measurable improvements in activation, retention, and feature adoption. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
