## Amplitude Analytics Reviews
 ### 1. Experimenting with confidence

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bharat K. | Product designer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

As a designer, Amplitude is a crucial tool for me to keep track of how our recent experiments are performing and to monitor the UX baselines of our product experience. The LLM features are very good, and the agents can build out a dashboard in no time based on the prompt.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

One first go it can seem a little complex for designers but after sometime, it really becomes a crucial tool for day to day.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude lets me track the performance of recent releases and experiments. It makes our design process more data-aware and helps us make decisions with confidence. Because it’s easy to set up and intuitive to navigate, the designers on our team really enjoy using it. The AI capability has been a game changer lately, especially because it makes the tool more accessible for people who aren’t acquainted with data analytics.

**Official Response from Tamara Kecman:**

> Hi Bharat! Thanks for sharing your experience with us. We’re so glad to hear that Amplitude is making a big difference in your design processes by staying data aware. We appreciate your note on the initial learning curve; we’re always looking for ways to make Amplitude even more approachable. Thanks again for the wonderful feedback!

 ### 2. Data-Driven Insights with Room for Growth

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mohammad O. | Engineering Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2022

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I really appreciate the amazing support for TypeScript. Since our entire system is built in TypeScript, being able to download the description of every single event in TypeScript helps us ensure our code isn't drifting away. The branching and versioning features built into their library are great because they allow our team to use the platform in various ways without a single point of failure. Additionally, the Chrome extension makes it much easier for us to test and play around with the system without spending too much time, which is easier compared to alternative options.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

I feel like there could be a beginner friendly interface in our company. Our engineering and product team is very savvy in using Amplitude. But some of the other departments find it too intimidating to use Amplitude on a day-to-day basis. Also, giving the ability to build dashboards and then share with specific people would be useful. So essentially not public links, but controlled links where we can just share it with a couple of people via their email. It wasn't actually too easy to set up because we had a mono repo and we didn't have Amplitude from the get-go, so it meant that we had to experiment a lot with how we can make it work.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude Analytics lets us dive deeper into data and make sense of it in one platform without too much planning. We can mix different graphs and metrics, enhancing our understanding of user experience and funnel insights.

 ### 3. Empowered Data Analysis with AI & Extensions

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I really like the new AI assistant in Amplitude Analytics because it makes it much easier and quicker to build charts and funnels. The browser extension is amazing too. I love how easy it is to identify event names and triggers, allowing me to build charts based on them. It makes deep diving into data super quick, which I appreciate as a non-data person. The AI assistant is particularly effective because it takes a lot of the 'thinking' and architecture out of my hands, letting me focus on analyzing the results instead of just building charts.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Maybe this exists already, and I don't know if, but I would love a functionality where I click through a user flow on our website or inside the platform, and then Amplitude records that and automatically creates a chart for this funnel. It would also be helpful for me to have a curated library - e.g., an admin can set some standard/default charts that anyone in marketing should have access to, and we all take that as a source of truth. Currently, we build many different charts as everyone is working in silos.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude Analytics helps me track user flow and conversion points, uncovering where conversions drop or spike. With the AI assistant and browser extension, I quickly build charts and funnels, focusing on analysis rather than setup, which is invaluable as a non-data person.

**Official Response from Tamara Kecman:**

> Thank you for this awesome feedback! We're thrilled to hear that Amplitude is helping you across both marketing and product, and that you're enjoying the browser extension! You're absolutely right; with great data power comes the need for clarity. If you want to dig into Amplitude with some added support, our Community is a great place to be (https://bit.ly/cohort-community). Thanks for being such a thoughtful user!

 ### 4. Great for Actionable Data Insights

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aaron E. | CRM Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I like how easy it is to build charts with Amplitude Analytics. I also think it's really easy to get a quick view of the data that I need to make informed decisions. The in-built AI is also really good at answering questions.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Sometimes it can be slow when loading complex charts and graphs. It would be perfect if there was a pause button so you could set your settings before the chart started loading to save time.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude Analytics improves our push notification performance and general CRM performance.

 ### 5. Accurate visibility for data-driven product decisions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tony Jose G. | Process & Service Specialists, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

What I like best about Amplitude Analytics is how clearly it helps me understand real user behavior and consumption inside our platform. Even as a beginner, I can easily identify how users move through key flows, how many credits and packages they consume, and how these patterns change over time. The visualizations and event-based structure make it straightforward to detect trends, compare periods, and validate hypotheses without requiring advanced technical skills. It gives us a level of visibility that would be very difficult to achieve through manual reports.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

What I dislike about Amplitude Analytics is that historical data is limited to the last two years, which restricts long-term analysis. For everything else, the platform works very well and provides the visibility we need, but the data retention limitation can be a challenge when comparing older periods or evaluating long-term trends.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude Analytics helps us understand how our users actually behave inside the platform and how they consume credits and packages. It allows us to identify usage peaks, drops, and changes in monthly behavior, as well as detect issues related to external source failures or unavailability through event tracking. This visibility makes it easier to validate hypotheses, anticipate problems, and make informed product decisions. Overall, Amplitude gives us the clarity we need to improve user experience, optimize platform performance, and prioritize initiatives based on real data.

 ### 6. Intuitive Insight with Compass Charts, Needs More Total Count Options

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arya B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I use Amplitude Analytics for different analytical projects and appreciate its ability to gain insights into how users engage with our product. The Compass charts are an extremely unique tool that helps me visualize retention and understand how engagement with different parts of the product can impact user retention. The intuitive UI makes it easy to curate dashboards and views, which I can share with non-technical partners who can easily interpret and iterate on them. The integration with different AI agents works smoothly, and the initial setup was straightforward. I also believe that Amplitude offers more robust capabilities compared to what we used before.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

I wish more of the funnel chart options could count by totals, and not just unique users. I'd like to see totals conversion over time and general TTC.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics for user engagement insights, tracking navigation, and discovering product areas of user value. Its intuitive UI allows easy dashboard sharing with non-tech partners. Compass charts help visualize retention impacts from features, making retention insights straightforward.

 ### 7. Powerful Yet Slightly Complex Product Analytics Tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Praveen G. | Campaign Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

What I like most about Amplitude Analytics is how straightforward it is to understand user behavior. The funnel, retention, and segmentation reports make it easy to see where users drop off and what’s driving engagement. It’s a powerful tool, but it still feels accessible for non-technical teams, since you can get meaningful insights without needing SQL.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

One downside of Amplitude Analytics is that it can feel overwhelming at first because of the sheer number of features and reports available. There’s definitely a learning curve, particularly when it comes to setting up events correctly and making sure everything is tracked the way you intend.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For my business requirements, I track daily sales of credit cards and its day on day trends of sales and savings account spending, deposit and so on with the help of Amplitude.

 ### 8. Ampltiude Enables Our Product to Fulfill Its Core Purpose for Customers

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tamil S. | Data Analytical Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

What I like best about Amplitude Analytics is its perfect combination of ease of use, speed, and flexibility. The platform is very easy to implement and integrates smoothly with our existing data stack, which made adoption seamless across teams. Its intuitive interface allows us to build reports and dashboards in minutes without the need for complex data cleanup or formulas, so we can spend all our time on meaningful analysis. I also appreciate the wide range of customization options for charts and visualizations, which helps us define metrics the way we need them. Collaboration is another highlight, as dashboards and insights can be easily shared across the organization, keeping everyone aligned on the same source of truth. The platform’s ability to query massive datasets in seconds makes it possible to track performance and take quick action when needed. On top of that, the customer support team has been responsive and helpful whenever we’ve had questions. We use Amplitude frequently, almost daily and it has become an essential tool for making data-driven product decisions and ensuring our product continues to serve customer needs effectively.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

One challenge with Amplitude Analytics is the limitation on creating visualizations for only up to one year at a time. For teams that want to analyze multi-year trends or historical performance at a glance, this can be restrictive. Extending the time range for visualizations would make the platform even more powerful for long-term analysis.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude Analytics is helping us solve the critical challenge of understanding how users interact with our mobile app at every stage of their journey. By tracking in-app events and behaviors, we can identify where users drop off, which features drive engagement, and what actions lead to long-term retention. This visibility allows us to quickly uncover friction points and optimize the app experience.

The biggest benefit is the speed to insights—we no longer spend time cleaning data or writing complex queries just to answer basic questions. Instead, we can instantly analyze funnels, cohorts, and retention patterns to guide product decisions. The ability to segment users and run behavioral analysis helps us design targeted improvements and measure their impact in real time.

Ultimately, Amplitude empowers us to make data-driven decisions faster, improve customer satisfaction, and continuously align our app with user needs, which has a direct impact on engagement and retention.

 ### 9. Easy-to-use analytics platform for end-to-end growth experimentation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Krislyn C. | Head of Growth, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2022

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

Amplitude has been a reliable source of truth for the growth marketing function as we optimize on first-touch / last-touch hybrid attribution. Every department has access to the analytics and can create their own reporting easily. We're also able to run PLG experiments easily and monitor metrics. It's really easy to get started and use. Every major department uses Amplitude, including engineers and creative strategists!

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

I currently ingest some topline metrics from ad platforms, but building a chart that reconciles both ad platform & our data is limited/difficult.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm making performance optimizations across my paid channels using Amplitude data. I'm creating customer data lists & piping it into ad platforms to create high quality seed lists. I'm syncing audience cohorts for email campaigns. I'm analyzing user behavior in-product to design and analyze PLG experiments.

 ### 10. Powerful Analytics with Helpful Dashboards

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dan R. | Head of Customer Success, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I love that Amplitude Analytics is a super powerful tool that picks up a huge amount of data and constructs it into easy-to-understand dashboards. I appreciate being able to look at what features specific customers are using or not using, and get a general picture as a whole of how our tool is being used.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Amplitude Analytics is fairly dense and we needed developer assistance to get started. We also had some struggles with attributing account-based analytics vs user-based analytics. Additionally, we were lacking some components that we had with June, in particular the Customer Success elements and Health Scoring

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude Analytics solves the problem of not knowing how our product is used by customers and what features are most adopted. It provides powerful data analytics in easy-to-understand dashboards, allowing us to see which features specific customers use and gain a general overview of tool usage.

 ### 11. Valuable Insights, Despite Steep Learning Curve

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hardik J.

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I like running web experiments with Amplitude Analytics because it allows me to do A/B testing quickly on real traffic data and see the impact on key metrics, ensuring decisions are based on outcomes rather than opinions. I also appreciate the ease of creating dashboards and charts; I have a dashboard where I report on key metrics with important filters, letting the audience slice and dice the data as needed. I log in to the dashboard every morning. Additionally, I find the Cohorts feature valuable as it allows me to group users based on the actions they do or don't take and understand the outcomes.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

I find the steep learning curve challenging because there are too many options available just to create a simple dashboard. Also, the events taxonomy is difficult to grasp, making it tough to decide what should be classified as events and values. The initial setup of Amplitude Analytics was difficult since it requires an engineer to add code.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics to analyze customer usage, identify gaps in user journeys, and report on key metrics. It helps diagnose changes in conversion or engagement and allows for quick A/B testing based on real traffic data, ensuring decisions are outcome-driven.

 ### 12. Responsive Interface, Easy Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arak C. | Python Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I like the interface a lot—it’s clean, very responsive, and works fast. The JS SDK is also straightforward to implement and use, which makes integration easy. They offer solid reporting capabilities with templates, so it’s simple to set things up and track what I need. Funnel tracking is well done too, and you can add custom events there that match specific criteria.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Before the JS SDK was not that great out of the box so you have to implement web page visit tracking yourself, but looking now at it, they fixed it already

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics to track visitor actions and reliably collect events, including custom ones. Its event-based system makes it easy for me to search through the data and generate reports, so I can access specific user profiles, see the exact actions they performed, and track sales funnels.

 ### 13. Excellent Analytics & Support, But Pricing Limits Event Tracking

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Himanshu G. | Product & Marketing Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

Amplitude Analytics offers a wide range of charts, from basic to advanced, that address nearly all the needs you might have for product analytics. In addition, it provides effective data management tools like data alerts—which I find extremely useful—and data governance features that become especially valuable as your product grows in size and complexity. What truly stands out for me, though, is Amplitude’s customer support. Their team consistently provides thoughtful, well-reasoned responses and quickly grasps the issues I’m facing. It’s honestly the best support team I’ve ever encountered.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Amplitude Analytics' pricing model is determined by data volume, meaning that the more events you track, the higher the cost. This structure discourages teams from tracking additional events, even though product teams generally want to collect as much data as possible. In our organization, this has become a significant obstacle. We have often had to implement feature flags to control which events are tracked, allowing us to disable certain events if the volume becomes too high. I believe pricing should be based on the number of users instead, so organizations can freely instrument events without constantly worrying about escalating Amplitude costs.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude Analytics provides valuable insights into user behavior within our mobile apps, which is essential for enhancing our product. We have also used Amplitude to conduct AB tests, helping us optimize various stages of our product.

 ### 14. Powerful Dashboards, Needs More Proactive Insights

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Narendra Nath J.

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I like Amplitude Analytics for its ability to build various types of dashboards, such as funnel and conversion dashboards. It allows tracking user behavior in real time, offering features like viewing user sessions and heat maps. I appreciate being able to manage and analyze data over different time frames, like weekly, monthly, or daily data.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

I think there could be a better show of support on Amplitude Analytics, proactively giving us more data insights and helping us understand more about what users are doing. Also, if we have built some dashboards, adding some kind of triggers based on certain user activities would be really helpful. Additionally, there needs to be improvement on tracking the user sessions and replaying those sessions, as I think the replay session features hit and miss sometimes. It's also very difficult to get Amplitude Analytics data elsewhere; it would be great if we could export some of that data directly into some other platforms. Sometimes dashboards or feature names could be a bit tricky to understand because there are a lot of features.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude Analytics helps me track user behavior, check heat maps, and build funnel graphs. It lets me see conversion rates and actions performed daily, while allowing dashboard creation for real-time user tracking.

 ### 15. Positive & Insightful: Excellent Tool for Deep User Insights and Growth Analysis

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** satish n. | Crew Member, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

Amplitude provides a very intuitive interface and powerful behavioral analytics capabilities. It makes it easy to track user journeys, segment audiences, and uncover actionable insights without relying too heavily on engineering support. The visualizations, funnels, and retention charts are interactive and help quickly identify drop-offs or growth opportunities. I especially like how easily it integrates with other marketing and product tools, making performance tracking and cohort analysis much more seamless.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

While Amplitude is powerful, it can sometimes feel complex for new users — especially when setting up events, properties, or custom dashboards without prior technical knowledge. The data syncing with other platforms can also take time, and large projects may experience slower loading speeds. Additionally, advanced analyses often require precise event taxonomy, which means even small tracking errors can affect results.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude helps us understand user behavior across campaigns and platforms, allowing us to track how audiences interact after engaging with ads. It solves the challenge of fragmented data by giving a single view of user journeys, retention, and conversion paths. This helps us identify which channels or creatives drive real engagement, optimize media spends, and make more data-driven marketing decisions. The ability to create cohorts and analyze performance over time has also improved campaign planning and audience targeting.

 ### 16. Straightforward Analytics with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Raffaele N.

**Reviewed Date:** January 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I use Amplitude Analytics to build dashboards for my team and to check on revenues, conversion rates, and other important metrics for my job. It fills a data gap we have, as there are no other tools to look at the aggregate results of the multiple data sources. I find it straightforward to use and really value the segmentation and personas features.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Sometimes the UI is a bit misleading, which could be improved by using different shades of colors for the different sections. Also, the initial setup was a bit hard, mostly because we wanted to make sure the historical data were retained.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics to build dashboards for my team and check revenues, conversion rates, and other metrics. It fills a data gap by integrating multiple data sources for aggregate results.

**Official Response from Amanda Brush:**

> Hi Raffaele,
Thank you for the thoughtful review and your feedback about improving the UI. It’s great to hear the tool solves your challenges with aggregating data from multiple sources, and you’re getting value from the segmentation and persona features.

 ### 17. Effortless A/B Testing and Accurate Device Tracking

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Suyash R.

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I use Amplitude Analytics for web tracking and web experiments like A/B testing, which helps me improve my e-commerce website to boost conversions. I really like the user-friendly dashboards and the device-level tracking, which is very accurate. The no-code A/B tests are incredibly useful, allowing us to easily manipulate a web page and run variants. The device-level tracking combined with multiple data sources is a big help, and integration through the Shopify plugin and HTTP V2 API makes journeys map perfectly. Also, the initial setup for my Shopify website was very, very easy.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

I don't like that device country identification is not accurate. There are inaccuracies with it.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics for web tracking and A/B testing, which helps improve my ecommerce website and conversions. The user-friendly dashboards, accurate device-level tracking, and easy no-code A/B tests streamline my workflow.

 ### 18. Powerful Product Analytics Platform That Drives Data-Driven Decisions

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mayuresh H. | Account Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

Amplitude stands out for its intuitive user interface and powerful product analytics capabilities. The ability to easily track user behavior, build cohorts, and visualize funnels helps in uncovering actionable insights quickly. Features like behavioral cohorts, retention analysis, and pathfinder reports make it easy to understand how users interact with a product and identify opportunities for growth. The platform’s real-time analytics and event segmentation are particularly useful for making fast, informed decisions. Additionally, the integrations with tools like Segment, Snowflake, and marketing platforms allow for seamless workflows across the analytics stack.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

While Amplitude is feature-rich, it can feel a bit overwhelming for beginners due to its advanced capabilities. Setting up proper event tracking requires careful planning and technical involvement, which might be challenging for non-technical teams. The free plan is generous, but some of the most powerful features (like advanced governance, predictive analytics, and deep integrations) are only available in higher-tier plans, which may not be affordable for startups or smaller teams.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude helps us understand user behavior at a granular level, which was previously a big challenge. Instead of relying on guesswork, we can now track the complete customer journey, identify drop-off points in funnels, and analyze which features drive engagement or retention.

It also solves the problem of siloed data by bringing behavioral, product, and growth analytics into one platform. This has benefited us by enabling data-driven product decisions, better personalization, and higher customer retention. With clear visibility into user actions, we can prioritize product improvements, optimize marketing campaigns, and ultimately drive growth with confidence.

 ### 19. Easily Build Dashboards and Understand User Behavior!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cain Y.

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I think Amplitude Analytics is really great for getting quick answers to data. I really like how simple it is to use and that there's a lot of options for how to display data. It covers most of the use cases I could use data for. It's very easy to organize, and the layout is quite easy to understand. It's also relatively easy to create events for web events, which helps me make quick day-to-day decisions based on how users react. It streamlines my ability to pull events without having to depend on engineers once they've been established.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

I find troubleshooting issues with Amplitude Analytics challenging. Sometimes, I'm not sure if the problem is with Amplitude not tracking things correctly, but often it turns out to be a technical issue with the company's data. It's a bit complex to understand and use Amplitude to its full potential, and I need to get a lot of information from internal engineers. Mobile tracking could be improved, but this might also reflect how my company's data lake is structured, making it harder to pull mobile events.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics to understand user behavior across features, enabling quick data-driven decisions without relying on engineers. It facilitates viewing page views and event sequences, making it easier to track user interactions and streamline my workflow.

 ### 20. Turning Data into Growth with Amplitude

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vidit J. | Assistant Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

Amplitude makes it really easy to understand how users move through our product. The funnel and pathfinder reports are especially helpful in spotting drop-offs, while cohort analysis gives us a clear view of retention and engagement. I like that it’s truly self-serve — our product and marketing teams can pull insights quickly without waiting on data teams. The integrations with tools like Segment and Braze make it even more powerful.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

The learning curve can feel steep at first, especially for non-technical users. Some advanced features take time to master, and the number of report options can be overwhelming until you get used to the platform. I’ve also noticed that dashboards can feel a bit heavy to load when multiple charts are added.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude helps us understand user behavior in detail — from acquisition all the way to retention. It solves the problem of relying too heavily on raw data pulls or engineering support by making analytics self-serve for product and marketing teams. We can quickly spot drop-offs in funnels, measure feature adoption, and track cohorts over time. This has directly helped us improve onboarding flows, increase retention, and make more confident product decisions.

 ### 21. Powerful self-serve product analytics that actually gets used

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mudit k. | Business analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

It is easy to get real answers without waiting on the data team. Funnels, retention and path analysis feel natural and I can go from a hunch to a chart in minutes. Cohorts are my favorite part because I define a segment once and reuse it across reports and the dashbaord. For ease of use I would call it simple enough for PMs and marketers after a short ramp, but still powerful when you need to dig in.
For ease of implementation we added the web snippet and mobile SDKs and instrumented our core events in a single sprint. The tracking plan and event dictionary helped us avoid messy names. Docs were clear and the sample code saved us hours.
For customer support our CSM actually follows up, not just a bot. Tickets get a same day reply most of the time and the office hours were super helpful during onboarding. I wish some replies were less templated, but overall they are responsive and kind.
For frequency of use I am in Amplitude almost every day. I check a few core dashboards in the morning, then build ad hoc funnels a couple times a week. Leadership reviews the weekly product report straight from Amplitude links, which keeps us aligned.
For ease of integration it plays nicely with our CDP and warehouse. We send cohorts to our messaging tool, share charts to Slack, and backfill data from the warehouse without drama. Setting up permissions across spaces was a bit wierd at first, but once we set a convention it stuck.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

There is a learning curve once you move past the basics. Advanced formulas and very specific cohort logic take practice and I still trip over it ocassionally. If you rush the event schema you will spend time on cleanup later, so plan that upfront. The interface can feel busy and sometimes I forget where a chart was saved. Pricing is fair but can grow with event volume, so governance and archival matter. Export options could be a little more flexible. None of these are deal breakers. Overall I would definately reccommend it for teams that want trustworthy product analytics that people actually use.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a business analyst, the biggest problem Amplitude solves for us is turning messy product behavior into clear, trustworthy insigts that anyone on the team can use. Before, I spent hours writing SQL and reconciling dueling numbers from different tools. Now we have one place to explore the journey from first touch to retention, and I can answer most questions in minutes instead of days.

It closes our self serve gap. Product managers, designers and even support leads can build funnels and retention views on their own, so I am not a bottleneck anymore. That speed shows up in real work. We spot where users drop off, build a cohort right from that step, and send it to marketing or in app messaging. The loop from finding a problem to acting on it is much shorter.

Amplitude also fixes our definition drift. The tracking plan and event dictionary force us to agree on names and properties. That sounds boring, but it means we finally have one source of truth for activation, engagement and upgrade. Execs look at the same dashbaords we do, which reduces the debate and focuses us on the decision.

For prioritizaiton, the impact analysis is gold. I can slice usage by persona, plan tier or region and show which features actually drive repeat visits and revenue proxy metrics. That makes roadmap talks way less opinion driven. When we ship, I use cohorts and baseline retention to show if a change really moved the needle or if it was just noise.

Integrations help too. We bring in warehouse attributes, backfilled when needed, and send audiences back out to our messaging tools. That keeps our campaigns aligned with real product behavior, not just guesswork.

Net benefit is faster cycle time, fewer rework loops, and clearer accountability. I spend less time pulling data and more time explaining what it means. Even with the ocassional learning curve and a UI that can feel busy, the day to day value is obvious. It helps our team make better decisions, quicker, and with confidence that the numbers are right.

 ### 22. Reliable Analytics with Stellar Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kavitha J. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2024

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I really appreciate the helpful analysis Amplitude Analytics provides regarding active usage, engagement, product stability, and user feedback. It effectively supports both high-level dashboard views and in-depth user-level analysis. I find features like user streams, dashboards, and funnel charts extremely useful. The support and community engagement are fantastic, with excellent customer support, webinars, tech talks, and a Slack community, making my experience enriching. The regular community newsletters and sessions cater to different user levels, enhancing my learning and connection with other users.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

I find the customization options for visualizing textual data in Amplitude Analytics somewhat limited. Anytime I need to adjust or customize my visualizations for anything more than available in Amplitude (which is limited) , I have to download the data into spreadsheets and then manually make changes. This extra step can be cumbersome and interrupts the workflow.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics to learn about product releases, user engagement, stability, and feedback, providing both high-level and detailed insights for roadmap planning. It enhances my understanding of trends and user behavior over time.

 ### 23. Streamlined Insights with AI-Powered Amplitude

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Akanksh G. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I like Amplitude Analytics' AI feature; it lets us just type a couple of prompts and get the data and the visuals we need. It reduces the time taken by analysts to build or prepare a chart, allowing us to focus more on in-depth research and analysis to get better insights and dig deep into the data.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

I'm a bit concerned that predictive analytics sometimes ends up aggregating the data when we export certain numbers and when I export the same numbers at a later point in time, the numbers vary slightly. It's not massively worrying, but the numbers vary a bit.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude Analytics helps analysts focus on in-depth insights by allowing stakeholders to self-serve basic data, freeing us to concentrate on research.

 ### 24. Customizable Dashboards Shine, Very Minor Customisation/Preference Flaws

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Keiran O.

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I appreciate Amplitude Analytics for its customizable dashboards, which allow me to efficiently access and present necessary metrics and graphs for my role. These dashboards are invaluable for quick data exports and presenting information to company leaders without delay. The ability to visualize data trends and quickly spot anomalies requiring deeper analysis is another major advantage, ensuring I remain on top of significant changes. Additionally, Amplitude Analytics solves the 'blank canvas' problem for us by offering customizable events and formulas, along with dashboards that display only the most pertinent data. I also value how easy it was for me, as a new user, to get acclimated by integrating existing team-space resources into my personalized dashboards. Furthermore, the platform’s flexibility to create formulas for defining important user engagement milestones solidifies its position as our source of truth.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

I find it frustrating that in the table layout of my dashboard, it doesn't save my selection of which columns to show. Each time, I have to untick columns as it doesn't remember my last used selection or allow me to set preferences for columns not to be displayed permanently. Additionally, the customization of graph colors is limited as I'm forced to use pre-set themes rather than picking a singular custom color from a color wheel.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics to optimize the customer journey by tracking events and creating customizable dashboards. It solves the blank canvas problem, offers valuable insights through visual representation, and allows experimentation for growth hacking.

**Official Response from Amanda Brush:**

> Keiran, Thanks so much for the review! We’re glad customizable dashboards, formulas, and anomaly‑spotting are helping you quickly surface and share the metrics that matter, and that it was easy to build on your team’s existing work as a new user. We appreciate the feedback on table column preferences and color controls as well; those kinds of details are exactly what we look at as we continue to refine the dashboard experience.

 ### 25. Easy to use analytics with deep insights

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Prashant K. | Software Developer Intern, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I really like the AI integration, which helps with understanding data patterns and features, and makes it easy to visualize them directly. The platform is simple to use, offers ease of implementation, and its analytical graphs with different parameters make it easy to understand user behavior.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Sometimes it’s hard to find certain event properties in the raw format unless you check the JSON. Also, deleting a user ID takes up to 10 days through the API, and it would be much easier if there was a manual option in the portal.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude helps us understand user behavior by providing clear insights into product usage patterns. It makes it easy to track events, analyze data with different parameters, and visualize results with graphs. This helps our team make better product decisions and improve user experience.

 ### 26. Amplitude for FordPass — fast, intuitive customer-journey analytics

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** girthyka a. | data scientist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

Ease of Use & Dashboard: The UI is clean and makes exploring funnels, paths, and cohorts straightforward — non-technical PMs use it confidently.
Frequency of Use & Data Freshness: We rely on Amplitude daily for FordPass insights; data updates quickly which speeds decision cycles.
Implementation & Integration: Implementation for our mobile app was straightforward and the SDKs/integrations were easy to work with for our existing stack.
Feature Set: Amplitude offers the features we need (funnels, retention, cohorts, dashboards) so we can centralize most product analytics in one place.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Learning Curve & Advanced Use: Building complex behavioral queries and managing event taxonomy can require time and expertise.
Pricing & Event Volume: Costs scale with event volume, which can become a concern for large-scale telemetry.
Edge-case Integrations: Most integrations are smooth, but some bespoke or legacy systems required custom ETL and extra engineering time.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude gives us clear, event-level visibility into how users move through FordPass (funnels, paths, cohorts), reduces reliance on engineering for routine analysis, and shortens the feedback loop by delivering near-real-time data. It also centralizes product metrics so teams aren’t chasing multiple dashboards or ad-hoc SQL queries.

 ### 27. Powerful Insights and Flexibility

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

Amplitude makes it easy to move from “what happened” to “why it happened.” Funnels, cohorts, retention, and pathing come together so you can test hypotheses about features, pricing, and packaging with real user behavior. The ability to define clear taxonomies, build reusable charts/dashboards, and segment by plan, geography, or lifecycle stage helps us find the “golden nuggets” that actually drive activation, conversion, and expansion—without waiting on ad-hoc SQL.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Two areas could be stronger:

Governance & complexity: As the event schema grows, enforcing naming standards and avoiding duplicate events/properties takes discipline. Better guardrails and bulk management would help.

Advanced filtering ergonomics: Building precise segments that combine multiple events, user properties, and time windows is powerful but can feel fiddly; more guided templates and validations would reduce iteration time for non-analysts.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Onboarding & activation: Funnels and retention analyses pinpoint where users stall before the “aha” moment, informing copy, UX, and nudges that lift activation rates.

Feature impact & monetization: Cohorts and pathing reveal which behaviors correlate with conversion and paid retention, guiding roadmap priorities, pricing/packaging, and PQL scoring.

Experiment & iteration velocity: Shared dashboards and drill-downs align Product, Marketing, and Sales on a single source of truth, shortening the time from question → insight → change.

 ### 28. Simplified School Data Tracking with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elizabeth S. | School Success Guide, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I appreciate the ability to tag individual users into groups, allowing me to easily group them by school. This feature makes it simple to track and analyze usage per school. It has significantly streamlined my reporting process, as I can send a public link to contacts at each school, enabling them to see their usage live, which was previously done through time-consuming reports on Canva. I also love that I can view what individual schools are looking at and how often they log in, providing insights into specific user activities. The transition from Mixpanel to Amplitude Analytics was driven by the need for clearer graphics in user reports, and Amplitude delivers on that front effectively. Finally, I found the initial setup straightforward and manageable due to the training I received, which enabled me to create charts and analyze specific user behaviors with ease.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

I have some concerns with the tagging feature not accurately identifying users, which results in them being shown as anonymous. This limits our ability to get an accurate count of how many people are logging in. Additionally, I find it challenging to get in touch with a knowledgeable support person. The technical support is broad and doesn't provide an opportunity to talk through specific issues, which I find frustrating.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Amplitude Analytics lets me share live usage data with schools, eliminating the need for time-consuming custom reports and improving real-time insights.

 ### 29. Super powerful once you know your way around

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Liza B. | Product Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I love how quickly I can slice data in different ways and actually get the answers I need without waiting on dev support. The breakdowns, filters, and dashboards make it easy to spot trends and share them with the team. It’s flexible enough to go from a quick check to a deep dive in the same tool.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

It’s not the most beginner-friendly — the interface can feel a bit heavy at first, and some things take a while to find. Once you learn it, it’s fine, but there’s definitely a learning curve before it feels second nature.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us understand how users interact with our product so we can make better decisions, faster. We can quickly see what’s working, where users drop off, and which features drive engagement. This means we can prioritize the right improvements and measure the impact of changes without waiting on custom reports.

 ### 30. Super Easy Setup with Reliable Data Display and Live Events

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

It's super easy to setup. I've never had issues with any of the options to display data. I love the live events for every user. Feature flags work very good

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

For me, as I was used to the old UI, I can't find what I used that easy, but it's just a learning curve

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We want to make sure our product is getting to the people we want, and the features we develop are having an impact. It's also super helpful to identify if we are losing potential customers due to errors in our process.

 ### 31. Easier to customize than GA

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Leah L. | Digital marketing manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

The easy-to-create charts and dashboards are my favorite. I especially like that you can easily share versions of reports with live edits to get help with questions or share insights you want to collaborate on, before you're ready to share with a wider audience.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

You need to pay attention to the dates you use in multiple places, such as the cohort date reference vs the dates of the chart vs. the timeframe within which any of the chart actions take place. Once you get the hang of it, it is less challenging but for onboarding it isn't always intuitive.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us understand our user flow and look for opportunities to optimize acquisitions to achieve more efficient CPAs alongside higher LTV.

 ### 32. The Best Behavioral Analytics Tool to Accelerate Data-Driven Decisions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** 근영 . | Performance Marketer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

The most valuable aspect of Amplitude Analytics is its real-time interpretability and collaboration efficiency.
Even without SQL knowledge, I can analyze user behavior at the event level in depth and easily share dashboards or charts with my team — significantly accelerating data-driven decision-making.

In particular, the segmentation and funnel analysis features are highly useful for performance marketers. They allow me to trace post-ad-click user behavior in detail and quickly identify the shared characteristics of users who performed key actions (e.g., activation, conversion).
Compared to GA4, Amplitude provides much clearer behavior-level insights, making it ideal for adjusting campaign strategies based on actual customer behavior.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Amplitude does have a noticeable learning curve during the initial setup.
It takes some time to fully understand event design and data structure,
but once you overcome that phase, it becomes an exceptionally powerful tool for marketers.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude helps you identify growth levers through behavioral data and validate them through experiments.
This not only drives incremental growth but also makes the product itself more complete over time.
By leveraging real-time behavioral insights, it also enables faster and more accurate decision-making — a crucial advantage in growth marketing.

 ### 33. Flexible and Easy to Learn, But Technical Challenges Persist

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michelle x. | Product Operations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I like that Amplitude Analytics is relatively easy to learn and flexible in customizability. The learning curve isn't steep, so after a few crash courses, I can start creating my own reports and answering questions about Product adoption.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Setting up the auto capture was not straightforward and didn't work after weeks of back-and-forth troubleshooting. Maintenance is overwhelming with hundreds of events created by different team members over the years, without centralized governance.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics for tracking product adoption and trend reporting, which provides visibility to leadership and facilitates cross-functional sharing.

**Official Response from Amanda Brush:**

> Hi Michelle, Thank you for taking the time to share such thoughtful feedback. It’s great to hear that you’ve been able to get up to speed quickly, customize Amplitude, and use it to track product adoption. We’re sorry that setting up Autocapture was frustrating and that maintaining a large event taxonomy has felt overwhelming—both are areas we’ve been investing in with features like Autocapture configuration, Visual Labeling, and our Govern data management tools to simplify setup and ongoing governance.

 ### 34. Great tool for exploring data naturally, but search and segmentation could be better

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I really like Ask Amplitude. It’s super helpful that I can just type a question in plain language and get the answer back without setting up complicated queries. It also lets me pull in different types of events and quickly turn them into charts, so I can explore things from multiple angles without much effort. Overall, it’s a pretty comprehensive tool and makes it easier to understand what users are doing.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

I wish I could segment data by screen size, it’s something I really wanted to do, a simple but essential filter but it’s not possible right now. Also, the search could be smarter. For instance, when I’m trying to find a breakdown by region or search for something specific, it doesn’t always bring up the right results or make it obvious where to go.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me understand how people are actually interacting with what I design, what actions they take next, and how different groups behave to make those nuanced decisions while designing. It helps to quickly spot friction points, measure if changes are working, and also makes it easier to turn usage data into insights we can act on using Ask Amplitude.

 ### 35. Comprehensive Analytics Solution with Room for Better Onboarding

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lusine M. | Senior Marketing Team Lead

**Reviewed Date:** October 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I find Amplitude Analytics indispensable for tracking everything in one place. It provides insights into user behavior, like average read time for pop-ups, helping us refine our strategies effectively. I appreciate its dashboard and chart features, especially funnel and pathfinder capabilities, to visualize conversion rates and user journey steps. Additionally, the setup, despite being heavy initially, ensures consistent use over time, making it a valuable tool for repeated application.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

I find Amplitude Analytics' tiered pricing model to be a potential concern because as the number of events increases, the costs can rise significantly, impacting our budget and potentially forcing us to look for other options. The initial setup phase was quite challenging, particularly in creating accounts and dashboards, which required me to seek help from the analytics team, indicating a less intuitive user experience. Furthermore, Amplitude lacks comprehensive in-app guides, which makes the learning curve steep. The onboarding process could be improved significantly to support first-time users better. Finally, I rely on Google Analytics for certain metrics like impressions and bounce rates because I feel they provide more accurate data on these than Amplitude does.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics to track our activities, improving decision-making and user engagement by identifying areas needing change, like underperforming pop-ups. It provides critical insights all in one place, preventing us from being uninformed about our performance.

 ### 36. The Best Event Tracking Data Analysis Tool I’ve Seen

What I like most is Amplitude’s diverse chart analysis capabilities and its powerful dashboard combinations. These features help me conduct various data analyses to optimize products, increase conversion rates, enhance marketing campaigns, and improve ROI in a more targeted way. They also frequently host online tutorial webinars, which allow me to learn more about how to use Amplitude effectively.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Funnel charts cannot be displayed vertically, which is not very intuitive—I hope this will be supported in the future. In addition, some event tracking data has long-term anomalies with no data. It would be even better if time-based monitoring and anomaly alerts could be added.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude to track user event data, analyzing user preferences, product usage, and marketing conversion rates.

1. It helps me understand the factors that affect conversion rates and take corresponding improvement measures.

2. It helps me clearly perceive how users engage with different product features, so I can make targeted improvements or determine feature prioritization.

3. It helps me analyze from which angles product subscription revenue can be increased.

 ### 40. Amplitude for work - feedback and insights

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I can get an overview of our products and see who is doing what, what is being assigned. I can break down the info into smaller groups and cohorts to get more specific data, and I like the colors and graphs.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

I struggle sometimes with figuring out what I need and where or how to get it. I don't know that the product is particularly complex, it is more that i have a tendency to use it in spurts - where I will need a lot of info about different things, and then may not go back into it for another month or longer

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In my role as a specialist and subject matter expert it is my job to determine the feasibility of products and make recommendations to keep, scrap, or reiterate and reboot. As a scientist and researcher I like data and I really prefer to have empirical evidence to support my decisions - data gives me the necessary support to be confident that my decisions are accurate and supported.
When I work on developing new products i also need to demonstrate efficacy and indicate the level of success we have achieved - data lets me do that.

 ### 45. After moving to Amplitude from GA, I never felt like I was missing something

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Doru H. | Digital Performance Leader, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

It's easy to use and quite intuitive. Coming from the old Google Analytics to Amplitude was a nice change.

At first, I was thinking we would lose a time of time getting to know the platform, the tables, the dashboards, so on so forth but to my surprise, creating dash boards it's just like playing in an Excel spreadsheet with pivots & data.

And after getting a couple of training sessions from Amplitude, I can comfortably and confidently analyze the data, provide reports to my stakeholders and much more.

It took like a week to get going and by the second week, everything was perfectly in place to not only replace GA but also expand on the data we have.

Oh, and it's such a breeze to connect other data sources to Amplitude (like GAds or Meta Ads).

With all the automation in place, using it daily it's quite a fun activity and the weekly & monthly reports are just automated to perfection👌

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Not gonna lie, so far (after close to 1y of using Amplitude), I have never got to a point where I felt the need to go back to GA. Plus, they are always brining new features.

No complaints from my side.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Basically, having the ability to view the website, the app, and a combined version of both projects it's really expanding our ability to analyze and take decisions in terms of budgets and investments.

So, it's resolving a problem of visibility.

 ### 46. Good Reports, But Navigation Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** harsh p. | marketing manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

report is very efficient and good to use

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

navigation is not good and up to the mark

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Incomplete view of the user journey
Traditional analytics tools often focus on isolated touchpoints (e.g. clicks, page views) or just web traffic, leaving out product usage, in‑app behavior, cross‑platform activity, and retention. Amplitude unifies data from web, mobile apps, and other sources so you can see the end‑to‑end flow of how a user interacts with your product.

 ### 47. A great choice for monitoring your app Analytics!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

Easy to use and to build reports, multiple chart types available, allows customized and complex formulas, easy to integrate with Slack, feels like MixPanel with steroids.

AI agents are incredibly helpful to analyze recurring data reports and propose next steps.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Live tracking of events could be a little more straight forward, could have more chart customization options

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Live cohorts of funnel abandonment, integrated with our customer engagement tool

 ### 48. Amplitude is the best tool for Growth and Product Managers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gabriela T. | Growth manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I love to have diferent options of reports where i can see funnels of conversion and event detonation. It allows me to compare diferente segments and countries

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

I have not experience any downside using amplitude events

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Its benefit is mostly because as in Treinta we have 2 products, we need to diferenciate behavior between app and web users. Also, because as we have diferent type of user business and it helps us to stablished patterns according to this.

 ### 49. Easy and intuitive to use

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Beatriz Rei A. | Market and product analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

It’s incredibly easy to use. I had never used it before starting my current job, and I was surprised at how quickly I was able to learn the tool and start creating reports.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

1- It doesn’t automatically prompt you to merge events that appear to be duplicates—for example, ‘Public: Lead’ and ‘Public Lead.’ While you can manually unify them, it would be helpful if Amplitude could detect similar events and suggest merging them.
It is not a dislike but it could be better.

2 - When you start breakdown the funnel, some numbers started not to match anymore. It is quick hard to divide by device as well.
3 - Be able to customize more the charts would be nice.
4- no plug in to check if the events are firing and names on the server-side implementation.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Understand how our users engages with our site features.

 ### 50. Reliable and scalable analytics I keep returning to

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katrin T. | Sr. Product manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I'm a product manager at a startup and have tried several analytics tools over the years. Amplitude is the one I keep coming back to — I’m now implementing it for the third startup I’ve worked with. I was able to set it up from scratch each time, and it consistently proves to be powerful, flexible, and indispensable for understanding user behavior and driving product decisions.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

User attribution can be difficult to manage, especially when trying to track users across sessions or devices. But in fairness, this is a limitation I’ve encountered in all analytics tools, not just Amplitude.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude helps me deeply understand user behavior across the product — where users drop off, which features drive engagement, and what actions correlate with retention. This enables our team to prioritize the right features, improve onboarding, and increase activation rates. Without it, we’d be making product decisions in the dark.

**Official Response from Tamara Kecman:**

> Hi Katrin! Thank you for taking the time to write this review and for the kind words! It’s awesome to hear that Amplitude has become your go-to at multiple startups, and that you’ve been able to set it up from scratch each time. We love that kind of hands-on success story!

Totally get your point about user attribution — it’s a tricky area across the board, but we’re always looking for ways to make it easier and more reliable. Appreciate you calling that out.

Thanks again for sharing how Amplitude is helping your team move with confidence. We’re so glad to be part of your product toolkit!
