## Amplitude Analytics Reviews
 ### 1. Intuitive, Powerful Analytics That Drive Product Decisions

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I use Amplitude Analytics on a daily basis and what impresses me most is how effectively it links user behavior to real product decisions. First, the platform is both intuitive and powerful, allowing me to track user actions and analyze behavior easily, all without needing to write any code. I find its capabilities for funnels, retention, and path analysis particularly strong—these are areas I often struggle to analyze in other tools like Looker. We also make extensive use of the cohorts feature, which is great because Amplitude lets us build dynamic cohorts based on actual user behavior. I can then apply these cohorts across analyses, experiments, and activations. The user experience is very friendly, and I find it straightforward to learn how to use the various features without spending a lot of time on documentation. Still, it's helpful that the documentation is thorough and clear, so whenever I can't figure something out intuitively, I can easily find the answers I need. Setting up experimentation is also simple in Amplitude; we use it for all our AB tests, and implementation doesn't require deep technical expertise.
In terms of customer support it works quite well. At least with the enterprise plan there's customer support available and they are usually quick to answer questions and solve issues.
Integration with other tools is possible and easy to configure.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

While I find this tool powerful and intuitive as a data analyst, I think it may not be as straightforward for product managers or others whose roles are less focused on analytics. Some of the more advanced features, like funnels, cohorts, and formulas, can initially feel overwhelming. It's crucial to have a well-thought-out event planning process. I've noticed that if the event taxonomy isn't carefully designed from the beginning, analyses can quickly become confusing or even misleading, and making corrections later is quite challenging. The same goes for naming conventions—managing a large number of events can get complicated without consistency. Although this hasn't been an issue for us yet, I've heard that costs can rise rapidly as event volume and user numbers increase, which could be a concern for startups or teams dealing with a lot of noisy events. While the tool allows to accomplish a lot without SQL, performing truly custom or edge-case analyses can feel limited compared to using a data warehouse with a BI tool. Additionally, working with large datasets or complex charts can sometimes result in slow load times.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude Analytics enables me to truly understand how users interact with our product. Instead of relying on guesswork, I now have access to clear, event-based insights that reveal exactly what users are doing throughout our platform. This clarity helps our teams pinpoint the factors that drive activation, engagement, and retention, moving us away from assumptions and toward data-driven decisions.

By examining funnels, user paths, and retention metrics, Amplitude makes it straightforward to identify where users are dropping off and which behaviors are linked to long-term success. For example, after launching a new acquisition funnel, we used Amplitude daily to track its performance and to analyze where and why users were most likely to leave the process.

Another advantage is that everyone in the company can access the tool and independently gather insights, without needing to know SQL or rely heavily on the data team. This self-serve capability empowers all team members to make informed decisions.

Amplitude has also simplified the implementation and management of A/B tests and experiments. Previously, it was challenging to run and centralize multiple tests, especially given our limited traffic. Now, with features like mutually exclusive groups and holdout groups, Amplitude offers promising solutions to these limitations, although we have not yet fully tested these capabilities.

Overall, Amplitude benefits me by delivering faster answers to product questions, eliminating the need to wait for custom reports. It fosters clear alignment across product, growth, and engineering teams by providing a shared, reliable source of product and digital data. This enables us to make decisions based on measurable improvements in activation, retention, and feature adoption.

 ### 3. Easy-to-use analytics platform for end-to-end growth experimentation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Krislyn C. | Head of Growth, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2022

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

Amplitude has been a reliable source of truth for the growth marketing function as we optimize on first-touch / last-touch hybrid attribution. Every department has access to the analytics and can create their own reporting easily. We're also able to run PLG experiments easily and monitor metrics. It's really easy to get started and use. Every major department uses Amplitude, including engineers and creative strategists!

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

I currently ingest some topline metrics from ad platforms, but building a chart that reconciles both ad platform & our data is limited/difficult.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm making performance optimizations across my paid channels using Amplitude data. I'm creating customer data lists & piping it into ad platforms to create high quality seed lists. I'm syncing audience cohorts for email campaigns. I'm analyzing user behavior in-product to design and analyze PLG experiments.

 ### 4. Powerful Analytics with Helpful Dashboards

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dan R. | Head of Customer Success, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I love that Amplitude Analytics is a super powerful tool that picks up a huge amount of data and constructs it into easy-to-understand dashboards. I appreciate being able to look at what features specific customers are using or not using, and get a general picture as a whole of how our tool is being used.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Amplitude Analytics is fairly dense and we needed developer assistance to get started. We also had some struggles with attributing account-based analytics vs user-based analytics. Additionally, we were lacking some components that we had with June, in particular the Customer Success elements and Health Scoring

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude Analytics solves the problem of not knowing how our product is used by customers and what features are most adopted. It provides powerful data analytics in easy-to-understand dashboards, allowing us to see which features specific customers use and gain a general overview of tool usage.

 ### 5. Detailed Insights, Needs AI Improvements

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** América Daniela S.

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I like how detailed Amplitude Analytics is and how I can segment data. It allows me to track the step conversion and full funnel conversion rate of the product I'm in charge of. I appreciate that I can use the AI for a better understanding of what is causing drops in the funnel.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

The AI itself has room for improvement. Sometimes it is inaccurate and it occasionally crashes. Better error handling and an opportunity to choose models would be helpful.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics for funnel analysis, tracking step conversion and full funnel conversion rates. It helps me segment data and use AI to understand what's causing funnel drop-offs.

 ### 6. Easy Visualization with Stellar Flexibility

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Suneet S.

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I appreciate the huge functionality of Amplitude Analytics, like visualizing our events on a daily or monthly basis with the ability to filter by properties and group them. I love that it provides a private workspace and lets me share it with anyone anytime. It's easy to use, and I can create a variety of charts or graphs which makes setting it up a breeze, and the documentation is well done. It's super easy to visualize my event data based on different values and frequencies.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

I don't like finding device IDs from Amplitude Analytics. We don't know what our device ID is in Amplitude, so maybe it could use similar ID or name kinds.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude Analytics gives us huge functionality like visualizing event data on a daily or monthly basis. We can filter and group data easily. It also provides a private workspace and easy sharing, and it's really intuitive to set up.

 ### 7. Intuitive Platform with Deep Insights

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Séraphin H. | Advisor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I really like that Amplitude Analytics is fairly easy to use, which makes it simple to teach and get others started on it. The layout is intuitive, with events on the left and results on the right, and this constancy over the years has been helpful. I appreciate how easy it is to go deep and do a deep dive into features and user behavior. Plus, it's quite user-friendly overall and didn't take much to set up; just track events and users, and you're ready to go. Many features just work, which is why I give it a ten out of ten.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

I would say there's a lot of features that go unused. Because it's a lot of adoption or I need to update our implementation. For example, session replay and heat maps aren't used because we're using another tool, and it would be great to combine tools, but that's something I need to put effort into. Another thing is the guides and surveys feature, which seems amazing, but the pricing is way too high.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude Analytics solves the problem of understanding user behavior in my product and helps me dive deep into feature usage. It's easy to use yet powerful, allowing our entire company to adopt it quickly.

 ### 8. Empowers Teams with Intuitive Analytics

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I love Amplitude Analytics for its thoughtful layout and intuitive interface, which lets me spend less time figuring out how the tool works and more time using the insights to take action. The powerful toolset is beneficial, and I appreciate the ability to share insights easily with colleagues. I also like how Amplitude allows me to be more independent when accessing websites and product analytics, without needing help from our engineering team. It helps me gain insights and a better understanding of our customers' behaviors, allowing me to make more informed decisions. Our team having access to Amplitude provides greater independence when accessing data, not having to depend on the Business Insights or data science team.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Some features aren't as powerful or configurable as other tools, like Looker or Google Analytics. It can be overwhelming with the abundance of granular data, making it difficult to get a clear picture of customers' entire user journey.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude Analytics helps me gain insights into customer behaviors, making informed decisions. It provides independence in accessing analytics, reducing reliance on the engineering team. The intuitive interface allows me to focus on using insights effectively.

 ### 9. Review from perspective of a complex product

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

Clever way of joining event information that saves an analyst a lot of time: eg user journeys and flows, ability to build funnels with flexible time frames. Visualisations are mostly clear and I do not remember a lot of viz types that I felt were missing

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

There’s a 2000 event limit. We track the logged-in user experience, and we need more events than that. The problem is that once we start grouping events together to stay under the limit, we lose important context. For example, if we group all page views into a single event like “viewed a page,” then the user journey ends up looking like someone went from a page to a page, with no information about which page they came from and which page they went to.

The navigation also feels pretty clunky. I often find myself clicking around just to locate basic information, and it’s not easy to find what I need.

On top of that, some information gets cut off with no way to view the full text. For instance, our event names can be quite specific and therefore long, but I can’t see the full name. Even when I click into an event to view the details, I only see a few more characters, and still not the complete event name.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Usage of features from product tribes, a self service manner for the product to access information without having to always relay on the data team. It saves around half FTE time

 ### 10. Intuitive Dashboards with Rapid Setup

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ankit G. | ceo, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I really like Amplitude Analytics because it's easy to instrument logs with straightforward documentation, allowing us to set up events in minutes. The dashboards are another strong point, as they're intuitive and customizable, with both predefined options and the ability to create custom dashboards. Their transparent pricing is beneficial too, especially the free plan which is great for startups.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

- I'm not able to use features like session replays due to being on an older tech stack. Compatibility with older tech stacks is missing for newer features. - Sometimes there's a delay in event data. Data is delayed sometimes for hours due to ongoing incidents.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics to get user and account-level data, track monthly and daily active users, and debug frontend issues using usage logs. It's easy to set up with straightforward documentation, and the dashboards are intuitive. The free plan is great for startups.

 ### 11. Centralized and Adaptive Analytics Powerhouse

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aaron D.

**Reviewed Date:** January 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

Amplitude Analytics is the perfect combination of complex and simple. The responsiveness from our reps helps us make sure we're always using the product to its fullest and allows us to have a dialogue about what could be helpful to expand its functionality. It's an impressive suite. It brings all of our analytics needs across different departments to one source of truth. I also appreciate the ability to do advanced drill-downs, advanced analyses, and even stream profiles into our marketing platforms. The new AI-chart creator is also awesome.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Every once in a while, we have a small additional niche change or feature that we want. Those are things that we would want to be improved, but the Amplitude team is usually pretty on it.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude Analytics helps us understand user behaviors and identify opportunities within our product. It's used widely across our team, from marketing to finance to design.

 ### 12. Powerful, Intuitive Product Analytics for Funnels, Cohorts, and Retention

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Florian B. | Co-founder & CPO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

Amplitude is very strong for product analytics and behavioral analysis. The event-based data model makes it easy to track user journeys, funnels, and retention over time. The interface for building funnels, cohorts, and retention charts is intuitive, even for non-technical users.

Key strengths:
- Powerful funnel and retention analysis
- Flexible cohort creation
- Good self-serve analytics for product and growth teams
- Clear visualization of user behavior over time
- Useful for identifying drop-off points and product friction

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

There is a learning curve, especially around event taxonomy and instrumentation strategy. If tracking is not well designed from the start, analysis can become messy or misleading.

Other limitations:
- Can become expensive at scale
- Some advanced features are locked behind higher-tier plans
- Data governance and consistency require strong internal processes
- UI can feel complex for very advanced use cases

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude helps us understand:
- How users move through key product flows
- Where users drop off in onboarding or critical funnels
- Which behaviors correlate with retention and conversion
- How different user segments behave over time

This allows us to:
- Optimize onboarding and activation
- Improve feature adoption
- Make more data-driven product decisions
- Prioritize roadmap based on real usage patterns

 ### 13. Developer’s Dream with Seamless Setup and Robust Features

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gokay K.

**Reviewed Date:** January 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I like that Amplitude Analytics allows me to generate charts and visualize data easily with the 'Ask Amplitude' AI tool. Even though I'm in the engineering department and not familiar with marketing stuff, I can ask Amplitude AI to create a chart, group, and sort users based on fields. This makes marketing tools developer-friendly too. I enjoy Session Replay a lot; it's really useful for checking records and detecting bugs easily thanks to including browser console records. The initial setup of Amplitude Analytics was incredibly easy, with helpful documentation, allowing me to integrate it into our project in just 10 minutes. It's been one of the best developer experiences I've had.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Sometimes the AI doesn't quite get what I mean. I think it can be a bit improved. Also, for Session Replay, a built-in consent management tool might be helpful because in the EU, explicit consent is needed for such things. Currently, we limit the use of this feature internally and get consent separately, but if Amplitude had a built-in way to handle the consent management of Session Replays, it would be super helpful.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude Analytics combines multiple solutions, streamlining our process by tracking users, generating charts, and debugging with Session Replay instead of relying on various services.

 ### 14. Intuitive Visualizations with Room for UX Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Trisha G.

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I really appreciate Amplitude Analytics for its ease of use and visualization capabilities. It greatly helps me in attributing performance to different campaign types and simplifies creating project spaces. I find the charts and graphs very helpful for visualizing performance data, especially when I'm communicating with stakeholders. Being able to create charts for visualization purposes and look at performance by channel and campaign has been really beneficial, particularly when tracking email versus SMS and push performance within one or even across multiple brands.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Certain UX features could be improved. I would like better ways to compare data between time periods and a system-check for UTMs, flagging UTMs if no performance data is reflected due to changes.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics for attributing performance to different campaign types and visualizing performance data with charts and graphs, which helps in communicating with stakeholders.

 ### 15. Empowers Designers with Autonomous Insights

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bia M.

**Reviewed Date:** January 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I use Amplitude Analytics frequently to create charts and dashboards for experiments, which helps me understand current user behavior and make design decisions with more confidence. I like the UI in general; it's comfortable to the eyes and easy to use. Tasks like creating, saving as favorites, organizing in folders, and sharing with my team are easy to do. The platform allows me to have more autonomy and move at my own pace since I don't need to rely on data analysts as much as before. Additionally, I enjoy the session replay feature.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Sometimes when creating a chart, after adding the events and properties, I try to see how it would look like in a funnel or journey format and I lose the information I added there (events and properties). I wish I could play around (as I am no expert in data tools) without losing the configuration.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics to create charts and dashboards, understand user behavior, and make informed design decisions. It reduces my dependency on data analysts, giving me autonomy to access data quickly and work at my own pace.

 ### 16. Powerful Dashboards, Needs More Proactive Insights

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Narendra Nath J.

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I like Amplitude Analytics for its ability to build various types of dashboards, such as funnel and conversion dashboards. It allows tracking user behavior in real time, offering features like viewing user sessions and heat maps. I appreciate being able to manage and analyze data over different time frames, like weekly, monthly, or daily data.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

I think there could be a better show of support on Amplitude Analytics, proactively giving us more data insights and helping us understand more about what users are doing. Also, if we have built some dashboards, adding some kind of triggers based on certain user activities would be really helpful. Additionally, there needs to be improvement on tracking the user sessions and replaying those sessions, as I think the replay session features hit and miss sometimes. It's also very difficult to get Amplitude Analytics data elsewhere; it would be great if we could export some of that data directly into some other platforms. Sometimes dashboards or feature names could be a bit tricky to understand because there are a lot of features.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude Analytics helps me track user behavior, check heat maps, and build funnel graphs. It lets me see conversion rates and actions performed daily, while allowing dashboard creation for real-time user tracking.

 ### 17. Loving the flexibility of finding customer behaviour data patterns via Amplitude.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Games | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I love the ability to be able to dive into extremely detailed information about our customers behaviour without needing to worry about how to create information out of it, like I used to when I only had access to BigQuery and needed to figure out how to connect it to other BI tools. The all in one package, with the ability to have control over renaming, organizing, and defining key information allows us to really cleanly work with our event data.

I also love the number of chart options available that come together in a few clicks. It's been amazing to see the interest we have had from team members when they see funnel and retention charts, and they continue to ask questions that help drive our product into new areas that allow us to answer with concrete information.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

I still find organizing files in folders to be tedious, as well as duplicating information. I also don't love that so much information that I've marked as hidden is still visible in the Event Data section; it confuses others when they want to find out more about each individual event.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

How do customers enter our product? When do they leave? How long are they in a session for? Where did they originate from? How long does it take a customer to perform a particular action? What is the conversion rate of a new user to a paying customer?

 ### 18. Effortless Insights with Amplitude Analytics

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marcos L. | Martech Owner

**Reviewed Date:** February 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I like how easy it is to fetch insightful information with Amplitude Analytics. I appreciate being able to create charts to analyze data in real-time, segmented by event or user property in seconds. Setting up Amplitude Analytics was very easy, like 10 out of 10, which is great since it lets you hit the ground running.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

I think a better and more native way to see multi-touch attribution for user acquisition and more tools to customize dashboards, like deciding what data to highlight in a chart and how to display it, would be improvements.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics to understand user acquisition, engagement, churn, and retention. It helps build funnels to see where users drop off and analyze first-click and last-click attribution. I can create real-time data charts segmented by events or user properties in seconds.

 ### 19. Intuitive Dashboarding and Cohort Analysis Powerhouse

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Manas S. | Product Manager

**Reviewed Date:** January 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I use Amplitude Analytics for product analytics and monitoring user cohorts. I like the dashboarding capabilities because they allow me to monitor my features and apps effectively. The A/B feature is another aspect I find easy to use and enjoyable. Moreover, I appreciate the ability to create user cohorts based on usage patterns, which helps in better understanding and analyzing user behavior.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

I have to save a dashboard before adding it to a space - perhaps there could be a recently viewed dashboard space because I have to rely heavily on search and remembering the correct name of the chart someone else created to find it again.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude Analytics gives me dashboarding capabilities and easy A/B testing. It helps create user cohorts based on usage patterns. However, I need to save dashboards before adding to a space, which is tedious as I rely on search to find them again.

 ### 20. Great tool for insights on app usage, retention and growth

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bruno C. | Head of Growth, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I believe the ease of use is one of the main selling points of Amplitude. After the team configured it and mapped events (pretty quickly, btw), I didn't need to expend a second reading docs or tutorials to start viewing the data I needed and answering the questions I had on app usage, retention, funnels, etc. I use it daily and it's my team's main platform for dashboards regarding our app (we do have GA4, but we rarely use it for this purpose, since Amplitude gives us a better view of our app and users). It has some nice integrations, with Facebook Audiences, for example. Or even sending data back to GA4. It's much more powerful than a simple dashboard and analytics tool. I highly recommend it for any team looking to deeply understand their app usage and customers.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

There are only 2 things I miss in Amplitude. ̶T̶h̶e̶ ̶f̶i̶r̶s̶t̶ ̶o̶n̶e̶ ̶i̶s̶ ̶m̶o̶r̶e̶ ̶c̶r̶o̶s̶s̶ ̶c̶h̶a̶r̶t̶ ̶c̶o̶n̶t̶r̶o̶l̶s̶ ̶(̶l̶i̶k̶e̶ ̶i̶n̶ ̶L̶o̶o̶k̶e̶r̶ ̶S̶t̶u̶d̶i̶o̶)̶,̶ ̶b̶e̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶a̶b̶l̶e̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶a̶p̶p̶l̶y̶ ̶o̶n̶e̶ ̶t̶i̶m̶e̶ ̶f̶i̶l̶t̶e̶r̶,̶ ̶f̶o̶r̶ ̶e̶x̶a̶m̶p̶l̶e̶,̶ ̶t̶h̶a̶t̶ ̶a̶p̶p̶l̶i̶e̶s̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶a̶l̶l̶ ̶c̶h̶a̶r̶t̶s̶ ̶i̶n̶ ̶a̶ ̶d̶a̶s̶h̶b̶o̶a̶r̶d̶. That part's been solved. Or cohort filters and so on. The other thing is a bit more complicated, I know, but it would be nice to have a visual event setup. Like Facebook Event Setup Tool. A bit of a stretch, I know, but it could work for front-end events.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude gives me and my team a clear understanding of our app usage, user funnel and cohorts. Making it easy to understand what drives our users to return and what makes them do what we want them to do.

**Official Response from Amanda Brush:**

> Thanks for the wonderful review, Bruno! We’re so glad you find Analytics easy to use! We love hearing that Amplitude is helping your team understand app usage and user behavior. And thanks for updating your review to share that one of your criticisms has been resolved. Feedback like yours helps us continuously improve!

 ### 21. Easier Analytics Than Google, Insightful Funnels

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Johan B.

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I use Amplitude Analytics primarily for the funnel view, which helps me see drop-offs and understand how users engage with our platform. I appreciate that Amplitude makes it much easier for everyone in our company to access the data and create views or charts. It simplifies the process compared to Google Analytics, where it was harder to create custom dashboards or views without going through additional tools like BigQuery or Tableau.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

I think it's hard to get some of the matrices I want, like viewing all the pages of one view and seeing what were different things people did on that. It's hard to get the tables to work.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics to understand user engagement and conversions, especially using the funnel flow to track drop-offs and user behavior.

 ### 22. Clear Insights and great to go for startup

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Caterina A. | Co-founder

**Reviewed Date:** January 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I use Amplitude Analytics to track our main KPIs, and it gives me a clear picture of how my business is doing, especially when I want to understand adoption to influence my product roadmap or the funnel to improve our conversion. I find it easy to understand and broadly used, and sometimes the Ask Amplitude feature is useful.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

It's not always straightforward how to filter data, the data structure is not always shown with clarity. It's sometimes hard to understand how variables are linked. Also, I'd like to have a data table option that's much more flexible and straightforward. If I want to download raw data, sometimes it makes it difficult.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics to track our main KPIs, understand adoption for product roadmaps, and analyze the funnel for conversion improvements, giving me a clear picture of how my business is doing.

 ### 23. Great value, AI can use some improvements.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

It’s easy to create and share charts, and just as easy to tweak them visually. I can quickly make dashboards that look good and are genuinely useful. The API is also great. The AI is getting better over time.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Lacking extended functionality sometimes; user lifecycle charts could have been better visualized. The AI helper is slow.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Getting the insights of users behavior, quickly creating charts in bulk, monitoring for insights.

 ### 24. Effortless A/B Testing and Accurate Device Tracking

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Suyash R.

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I use Amplitude Analytics for web tracking and web experiments like A/B testing, which helps me improve my e-commerce website to boost conversions. I really like the user-friendly dashboards and the device-level tracking, which is very accurate. The no-code A/B tests are incredibly useful, allowing us to easily manipulate a web page and run variants. The device-level tracking combined with multiple data sources is a big help, and integration through the Shopify plugin and HTTP V2 API makes journeys map perfectly. Also, the initial setup for my Shopify website was very, very easy.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

I don't like that device country identification is not accurate. There are inaccuracies with it.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics for web tracking and A/B testing, which helps improve my ecommerce website and conversions. The user-friendly dashboards, accurate device-level tracking, and easy no-code A/B tests streamline my workflow.

 ### 25. Amplitude Analytics helps track user behavior and convert data into clear, actionable insights.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Satish n. | Account Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

What I like best about Amplitude Analytics is its user-friendly interface and the depth of insights it provides. The platform makes it simple to analyze user behavior, build funnels, and track cohorts without requiring heavy technical skills. Its customizable dashboards allow quick access to the most relevant metrics, making decision-making faster and more data-driven. I also appreciate how seamlessly it supports experimentation and iteration, helping teams identify growth opportunities and optimize performance effectively.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

One limitation of Amplitude Analytics is that the initial setup and integration can be somewhat complex, especially for teams without prior analytics experience. Some of the advanced features may also require additional training to use effectively. Additionally, loading large datasets can sometimes be slow, and there could be more ready-to-use templates for common use cases to make the platform even more accessible.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude Analytics helps solve the challenge of understanding user behavior and tracking product performance in a detailed, data-driven way. By providing insights into user journeys, retention, and conversion patterns, it enables teams to identify bottlenecks and optimize features effectively. This benefits me by allowing quicker, informed decision-making, improving product strategies, and highlighting opportunities for growth, ultimately leading to more efficient and targeted efforts.

 ### 26. Amplitude an excellent tool for Product Analytics

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rohan H. | Data Scientist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

At Coursera, our Data Science team frequently relies on Amplitude to track product launches, quickly perform root cause analyses, and gain insights into user behaviour. Amplitude stands out for its intuitive and user-friendly interface, while also enabling us to conduct a wide range of complex analyses with ease. The customer support is also very helpful and we have regular office hours setup for doubts. The tool is very easy to use and we use it almost everyday to draw insights from our users.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Amplitude has certain limitations when it comes to customizing charts and graphs. I also find that some of the more advanced features are difficult to locate, and at times, the menus and documentation can be confusing.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude enables us to effectively monitor product launches, quickly perform root cause analyses, and gain deeper insights into our users. As a result, the time we spend on any analysis is significantly reduced.

 ### 27. Powerful, but with a steep learning curve

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Davi F. | Product Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

What stands out the most is its remarkable ability to answer complex questions about user behavior, something that few other tools manage to do as effectively. We are able to conduct deep and precise analyses of user journeys, and creating funnels and retention analyses is very straightforward. Additionally, despite the platform's depth and richness of features, its interface remains intuitive and user-friendly.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

The conceptual learning curve is fairly steep, and the depth of insights you gain relies greatly on the specific events you implement and the properties you track. For teams used to working with a marketing metrics framework, adapting to a product analysis approach that centers on particular user actions can be challenging. Additionally, while there are some features related to marketing attribution, this tool is not best suited for that purpose. Its primary design is to help you understand user behavior within the product, rather than to optimize advertising spend or pinpoint which campaign achieved the highest ROI.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude Analytics addresses the fundamental challenge of understanding in-depth user behavior within a product, offering insights that go well beyond standard marketing metrics.

This has benefited us in several important ways. First, it gives us detailed visibility into user journeys. We are able to closely examine the paths users follow, set up funnels to pinpoint where they drop off, and generate retention charts that reveal patterns of long-term engagement.

Second, Amplitude enables us to answer complex 'why' questions. Rather than simply showing us what happened, it helps us uncover the reasons behind user actions by analyzing their specific behaviors and attributes.

Finally, it empowers our team by allowing product managers and designers to independently explore and answer their own questions. This reduces our reliance on data analysts and helps speed up the product development process.

 ### 28. Super Friendly UI and Live Events Make It Easy to Use

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

The UI is super friendly, it’s easy to use, and I love the live events feature.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

It feels hard to keep content tidy. There are only a few prompts for organisation, and it’s often difficult to tell who has access to what. I’d also like a separate space for ad hoc data pulls (like a sandbox) that doesn’t need to be saved to my space or be visible to everyone.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves our product analytics and customer journey tracking needs. We also use it to understand referral sources and attribution. It makes it really easy to see where a customer came from, trace their path back through the journey, and understand why our system has assigned certain fields to that customer.

 ### 29. Usecase of amplitude

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Deepanshu J. | Software engineer 2 ( Backend ), Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

It is in general easy to use especially the UI is very clean
Ease of integration with the backend is quite good and easy as well

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Features are kind of not straight forward, like I wanted to search old events (and see their content and fields), I still do not know where to find those, so to test I went to the live events page and then triggered the event everytime

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us tracking the user event from the frontend side, which includes user clicks to understand the user behaviour and interactions
From the Backend (my work) mostly we send segment events to track analytics like payments/subscriptions. For eg we released a new company cancel faeture and tracked how it performed via the graphs and dashboard we created on Amplitude and was it above our expected level else we might think about rolling back that feature.
In other words it also helps us track feature engagement and to know if the feeature is performing good or not.

 ### 30. Powerful analytics with room for UI and documentation improvements

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vishal A. | Senior Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

Amplitude provides a robust set of features that are essential for customer success, PLG tracking, and data-driven product decisions. I especially like the ability to create custom charts and run in-depth analyses, which I’ve found to be among the best in the market. The integrations with platforms like Segment are smooth and well-documented, making it easier to fit Amplitude into our existing stack. These capabilities allow us to double down on what customers love while identifying areas for product improvement.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

The sidebar navigation isn’t very intuitive, the hamburger menu hides key features, and it can be difficult to quickly access live or recent data compared to tools like Datadog. A “quick actions” section would make exploration much faster. While documentation is helpful, it could be enhanced with more video demos or SDK tooling walkthroughs. Adding AI-powered assistants or guided agents for integration could also significantly reduce the learning curve and setup effort.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude helps us understand user behavior at a very granular level, which is critical for improving product adoption and customer retention. By tracking product usage patterns, funnels, and cohorts, we’re able to identify which features drive the most value and double down on them. It also highlights friction points in the user journey so we can proactively address churn risks (session replays helps a lot here). For a PLG business model, this visibility is invaluable - our product, marketing, and success teams align better on decisions, leading to faster iteration, more customer-loved features, and ultimately higher revenue growth.

 ### 31. User-Friendly with Robust Analytics but Pricey

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anastasia R. | Analytics Engineer

**Reviewed Date:** December 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I like that Amplitude Analytics is user-friendly and offers custom charts like retention ON, conversion windows, and ARPU. It helps me build fast dashboards with detailed segmentation. I love the possibility to create and use cohorts. The initial setup was quite easy, especially with the help of Amplitude Academy and regular problem-solving webinars.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

I'm not a fan of the SQL-based queries in Amplitude Analytics. It's a big disadvantage for us not to be able to calculate some numbers per user per day. Sometimes it feels like a big missing part. Also, I find it quite expensive and it lacks the ability to do custom formulas.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics to analyze our mobile app, building fast dashboards with detailed segmentation and using cohorts. It's user-friendly with custom charts for retention, conversion, and ARPU.

 ### 32. Great for Bug Correlation, but Search Is Too Rigid for Deeper Event Analysis

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I like the number of detailed data point recorded about event and how easy to publish these event (I am not sure if it is that easy out of the gate or if our dev experience engineer wrapped up the complexity away)

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

what i don't like is that search is very regide, the only thing i can do is find the user activity by their id and that is it, I can't even jump to a specifc date or time, I can't search by the event content it would have been very helpful to be able to perform such a search

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a backend engineer I mostly use amplitude for correlating some observed bugs in the back end to an action or a sequence of actions taken by one of our user when often we don't have logs or trace that show this information in our front end apps.

**Official Response from Amanda Brush:**

> Hi there,
Thank you for taking the time to share such thoughtful feedback.
It’s great to hear that the depth of event data and the ability to publish events easily are helping you as a backend engineer, especially for correlating backend bugs with user actions when frontend logs are missing. We also really appreciate your candid notes about the rigidity of search and the difficulty jumping to specific dates/times or searching by event content—this kind of detail is exactly what our product team relies on to prioritize improvements. If you’d like to explore current options or workarounds for event and user search, our support team is ready to help at https://support.amplitude.com/.

 ### 33. Intuitive Analytics with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Satchit Ananta W.

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I like that the graphs in Amplitude Analytics are easy to create and simple to read. The platform offers an enormous amount of complexity yet has a great UI/UX and does not feel overwhelming to use.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

I wish there was more flexibility with modifying graphs, especially colors and labeling. Also, due to the sheer size of the data, it can sometimes become noisy, which is not easy to clean within Amplitude Analytics.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics for product analytics, building dashboards, and monitoring performance. It gives me an exact view of the customer journey, helps identify pain points, and offers a great UI/UX without feeling overwhelming.

 ### 34. Detailed Insights, Needs Improved Calculation Features

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anthony P.

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I like that I'm able to filter by features or tools that we offer, and the filter options in general are very useful. I also like that I'm able to filter different time periods to analyze certain windows of time.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

I feel like the ability to calculate percent change could be a lot more streamlined. I normally end up having to type it into a manual calculator. I think this could be something directly calculated and expressed right in the dashboard.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude Analytics provides specific data to analyze user trends and interactions, all in a visual format. It helps track user metrics like conversion and retention rates.

**Official Response from Amanda Brush:**

> Hi Anthony, Thank you for taking the time to share such thoughtful feedback about your experience with Amplitude. It’s great to hear that the filtering capabilities and time-window analysis are helping you dig into user trends. We really appreciate your note about wanting a more streamlined percent-change calculation directly in the dashboard—feedback like this helps guide our roadmap and how we prioritize usability improvements.

 ### 35. Strong, Easy-to-Use Platform for Product Analytics

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gordon C. | Lead Product Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

Overall, its a strong platform for tracking product analytics. Its easy to use and consolidate multiple tools (replay, product and web analytis...)

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

I wish I could rename events within the events page. Its nice that I can rename the event within a chart but that means for each chart I'll have to manaully rename the events each time.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping us gain visibility into how customers are using our platform

 ### 36. Amplitude offers extensive capabilities without extra effort

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Diana K. | Data Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

Simple implementation default events, low entry barrier to the tool, extensive capabilities for both basic and advanced analytics, user-friendly interface, plenty of available integrations, and clear documentation, the custom event feature in the interface is very useful.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Report building is limited in terms of available features, and sometimes a report with more advanced settings is required. There are only minor variations in how reports can be arranged on the dashboard. At times, certain functionality is missing and cannot be purchased separately, only by upgrading the plan.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

End-to-end analytics. Data from Customer, Intercom, CRM, and ad accounts are consolidated in Amplitude. It allows you to see the full user journey.
Understanding user conversion, showing potential growth points.
Evaluating the impact of website changes based on data.
Channel and advertising analytics for optimization.

 ### 37. Amplitude Dashboards Perfect for Marketing Analytics

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Caroline C. | Retention Marketing Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I love the ability to build a Dashboard with all relevant tables, charts and analytics needed for my marketing analysis

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

I feel like it is complicated - I did not know about the courses or how to contact support so sometimes I don't know how to best make the table or chart I need

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gives a more accurate representation of revenue allocation per campaign, combining multiple different platforms such as email, SMS, paid marketing, etc.

 ### 38. Highly Customizable Tool for Growth Marketers

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I like how customizable Amplitude Analytics is, especially the ability to create charts and dashboards for different purposes. I also like the user lookup feature and being able to track user journeys. These aspects make using the tool effective for understanding where users come from and determining which marketing strategies are most effective.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Amplitude tends to work well when either our side or another company's side (e.g., YouTube) has UTM parameters set up. However, sometimes it doesn't detect the source and medium if there are no UTM parameters. I can understand this but in some cases you could infer the source (at least) by referring to another piece of data like 'previous page location' or 'referring domain.' Another issue is that if you have an event that trickles down into other events (like a funnel), sometimes if you've left a filter or grouping on, the data in the next event becomes skewed. It would be nice to have the option of choosing 'funnel' or 'comparison' to either have a ripple effect on all data or just to keep data separate.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics to track user data as a growth marketer, helping me determine effective marketing strategies and discover issues in our conversion rates by identifying leaks in our customer acquisition funnel.

 ### 39. Feature-Rich and User-Friendly, But AI Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I really like the amount of features and capabilities that are offered in Amplitude. It was quite easy for me to create charts for a new launch, analyze recent data with the past few months data and make decisions. the plug and play UI for filtering events etc are convenient and time saving.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

I found the leverage of AI quite low within Amplitude. While i could have a basic chart ready based ont the requirement statement or prompt, its still not accurate. The chat window or UI surrounding it is clunky making further prompts or tweaks less user friendly. It saved lot of time for users if the AI accuracy and ease of use can be improved

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

it enables me to measure the impact / adoption of new feature launch, figure out what parts of it are less accessed and optimize for it and also evaluate what decisions had the maximum result,

 ### 40. A very useful tool for a product manager working in SAAS B2B

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dmitry H. | Product Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

Amplitude Analytics offers a powerful, intuitive interface for tracking product usage and user behavior. I appreciate how easy it is to build custom dashboards and segment users based on events or properties without needing SQL knowledge. The real-time data visualization, funnels, and retention analysis make it much easier to identify patterns, spot drop-off points, and prioritize product improvements.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

The system may work slow on a big amount of data. Some useful features are hidden behind the paywall.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude helps me identify how users interact with our product at each stage of their journey, allowing data-driven prioritization of features and improvements. By tracking funnels and retention metrics, I can quickly spot drop-offs, understand which actions lead to activation, and validate the impact of product changes. This has improved decision-making, reduced guesswork, and helped align our team around measurable outcomes, ultimately increasing user engagement and conversion rates.

 ### 41. Very pleasant experience so far

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

Performance & accuracy is very good especially when compared to that of the previous platforms we have used. UI is very intuitive. Almost using it daily since we have integrated it.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Funnel conversion against 100% baseline is something that I'm missing the most

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows me to track daily funnels which are useful in monitoring for any conversion drops or improvements. Also helps in understanding feature traction & stability

 ### 42. Insightful Analytics but Limited Customization

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Luis Henrique A.

**Reviewed Date:** January 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I like the dynamics of Amplitude Analytics. It's valuable because it provides insights about my clients, especially regarding orders information and the way it manages that data.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

First, the download limits are too low, which forces me to maintain a SQL server that I could otherwise avoid. Second, the graphics are not editable, so I am stuck with the default presets. Lastly, the AI does not work because it does not learn from the data.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics to analyze client campaigns, understand client information and behavior, and gain insights about my customers.

**Official Response from Amanda Brush:**

> Hi Luis Henrique,
Thank you for sharing how Amplitude helps you analyze campaign effectiveness and understand your customers’ behaviors. Your feedback on download limits, chart flexibility, and how Amplitude AI is working in practice is extremely valuable and helps guide where we focus improvements.

 ### 43. Amplitude: Easy to get started, hard but rewarding to master

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Sports | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

Amplitude is essential for any data-minded product specialist that wants to learn more about how users interact with their platform. I enjoy the ease of use and great visualization suite above all else, especially as a non-technical member of my team.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

From time to time, I do find myself wishing there were certain features or integrations that could allow Amplitude to be my one and only source of truth. Unfortunately, every now and then I must go to a different platform or do some dodgy data analysis across platforms to find answers to the most pressing questions I have about my product.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the most important question of all: how do users interact with our product? It benefits us by allowing us a deep dive into any question we could imagine, from the most surface level user experience ones, to critical user interface ones that have drastically changed how our product looks.

**Official Response from Amanda Brush:**

> Thank you for the thoughtful review—and for calling out the ease of use and visualizations. We love hearing that Amplitude Analytics empowers non‑technical teammates to dig into real user behavior.

On wanting a single source of truth, there are two quick paths that often help:
Connect more sources (UTMs/ad networks/CRM) and use Channels + Attribution and our Out‑of‑the‑box Marketing Analytics to bring campaign and product metrics together in Amplitude, including CAC/ROAS and funnel views.
If your team centralizes in a warehouse, Warehouse‑native Amplitude lets you analyze directly on your models—and we also support bi‑directional syncs like Snowflake import/export when needed.
If you want to share the specific integrations or features you’re missing, we’re happy to suggest the cleanest setup for your stack: https://support.amplitude.com/

 ### 44. Comprehensive Analytics Solution with Room for Better Onboarding

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lusine M. | Senior Marketing Team Lead

**Reviewed Date:** October 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I find Amplitude Analytics indispensable for tracking everything in one place. It provides insights into user behavior, like average read time for pop-ups, helping us refine our strategies effectively. I appreciate its dashboard and chart features, especially funnel and pathfinder capabilities, to visualize conversion rates and user journey steps. Additionally, the setup, despite being heavy initially, ensures consistent use over time, making it a valuable tool for repeated application.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

I find Amplitude Analytics' tiered pricing model to be a potential concern because as the number of events increases, the costs can rise significantly, impacting our budget and potentially forcing us to look for other options. The initial setup phase was quite challenging, particularly in creating accounts and dashboards, which required me to seek help from the analytics team, indicating a less intuitive user experience. Furthermore, Amplitude lacks comprehensive in-app guides, which makes the learning curve steep. The onboarding process could be improved significantly to support first-time users better. Finally, I rely on Google Analytics for certain metrics like impressions and bounce rates because I feel they provide more accurate data on these than Amplitude does.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics to track our activities, improving decision-making and user engagement by identifying areas needing change, like underperforming pop-ups. It provides critical insights all in one place, preventing us from being uninformed about our performance.

 ### 45. The Best Event Tracking Data Analysis Tool I’ve Seen

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Events Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

What I like most is Amplitude’s diverse chart analysis capabilities and its powerful dashboard combinations. These features help me conduct various data analyses to optimize products, increase conversion rates, enhance marketing campaigns, and improve ROI in a more targeted way. They also frequently host online tutorial webinars, which allow me to learn more about how to use Amplitude effectively.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Funnel charts cannot be displayed vertically, which is not very intuitive—I hope this will be supported in the future. In addition, some event tracking data has long-term anomalies with no data. It would be even better if time-based monitoring and anomaly alerts could be added.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude to track user event data, analyzing user preferences, product usage, and marketing conversion rates.

1. It helps me understand the factors that affect conversion rates and take corresponding improvement measures.

2. It helps me clearly perceive how users engage with different product features, so I can make targeted improvements or determine feature prioritization.

3. It helps me analyze from which angles product subscription revenue can be increased.

 ### 46. Great tool for getting quick analytics insights - easy developer setup

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael E. | Freelance Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I like the ease of use. From a developer perspective, it's super quick and easy to get set up, and the SDK API is very simple. I feel like you can get up and running in just a few minutes.

I've used some of the chart features, and they're quite nice, even though it can be a bit more complex.

The experiments are good and I use them regularly.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

The free tier doesn't include feature experiments, which is a blocker for me on some of my personal and client projects. I opt for other tools in that case, since they offer free feature experiments out of the box.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Understanding user behaviour, not just globally but also deeply segmented into various cohorts. SInce our application has a wide variety of user personas, it's good to be able to view the data different lenses and get more meaningful insights.

 ### 47. Great clickstream analytics tool.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aniket G. | Data Scientist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

Loving how they are integrating AI and ML models in the tool for advanced analytics. Really fond of using their forecasting model built on Prophet.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Can't understand the use of journey charts as they don't give full picture.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy of use. No need to write complex queries and do QC at every run. Easy to share and integrate.

**Official Response from Tamara Kecman:**

> Hi Aniket! Thank you for leaving us a review – we appreciate your support and the Amplitude love! It’s great to hear how easy Amplitude has been for you to use — we also love that you're a fan of how we’re integrating AI and ML models into the product. If you need a hand with anything journey charts-related, please reach out to our support team here at https://support.amplitude.com/. We hope you keep enjoying Amplitude!

 ### 48. Fast, Trustworthy Product Insights at Scale

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

Powerful funnels, retention, and pathing that surface the “why” behind user behavior fast.

Cohorting is effortless: build segments off any event/property and reuse them across charts.

Journeys and “Stickiness” make it easy to spot aha moments and drop-off points.

Solid integrations (warehouse + CDPs) and governance tools to keep events/taxonomy clean.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Learning curve: advanced charts and properties take time to master.

Cost can scale quickly with event volume and seats.

Occasional friction in chart/dashboard permissions and naming consistency.

Experiment features are improving but still trail best-in-class A/B platforms for depth.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Self-serve product analytics: funnels, retention, and pathing without waiting on data teams. Benefit: faster decisions and fewer ad hoc SQL requests.

Activation and lifecycle insights: cohorts and journeys reveal drop-offs and aha moments by segment. Benefit: higher conversion and retention.

Unified metrics and governance: consistent event taxonomy plus warehouse/CDP integrations. Benefit: trusted source of truth and end-to-end visibility.

 ### 49. Great Analytics - Could be better UX

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

The ability to splice data in a million (exaggerating) ways. It's super helpful to do extremely in depth analysis on user acquisition and behavior. I also am a huge fan of how quick and easy it is to visualize data and compare against other periods. Some of our other tools don't have this comparison functionality built out as well.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Ramping up your skills in Amplitude is a bit of a pain point. To this day I still mainly rely on reports that have been created and then toggle the dimensions. Some of the terminology on Amplitude doesn't tie to our internal definitions. I'm not sure if this is how we've configured the data or an Amplitude issue. Overall the pain points are worth it, once you're fully ramped on Amplitude theres a lot of powerful data.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's solving quite a few problems. Historically, Amplitude was the only software that allowed certain channel and sub-channel level reporting. We've since built out some other tools but this insight was critical for decision making, win forecasting, and CAC forecasting. Another key problem is understanding customer usage of certain feature. This has helped keep the team (product mainly) informed about what our customers are actually doing on a day to day basis. We couple this more quantitative data with some qualitative data from customer interviews.

**Official Response from Amanda Brush:**

> Thanks for sharing such a detailed review! We love hearing how Amplitude’s flexibility in slicing data and comparing across time periods is giving your team deeper insights into acquisition, behavior, and feature usage. It’s great to know this has supported everything from forecasting to keeping product teams aligned with real customer activity. We also appreciate your feedback on ramp-up and terminology — we know the learning curve can feel steep, and we’re continuing to make the experience more intuitive and aligned with customer needs.

 ### 50. Makes data-driven marketing simple and actionable

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** 현상 . | Performance & CRM Marketer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I use Amplitude almost every day to check campaign performance, user funnels, and retention. It’s easy to build cohorts, see M+1 or 90-day retention, and connect CAC vs. LTV with real user behavior. The integrations with our marketing stack make it simple to tie paid channel results to long-term retention, which is a big win.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Some reports take a few extra manual steps, especially for custom retention analysis across brands. Dashboards can feel slow with large data sets, and the UI can be overwhelming for new users. More local language support (like Korean) and easier permission settings would make team collaboration better.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude helps me connect acquisition with retention. Before, I had to pull data from multiple tools to understand how campaigns were impacting long-term user behavior. With Amplitude, I can quickly see which channels bring users who actually stick around, and share those insights with my team. This saves a lot of manual reporting time and makes our growth decisions faster and more accurate.
