## Amplitude Analytics Reviews
 ### 1. AI-Powered Insights, Needs Better Marketing Analytics

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lisa M. | Lifecycle Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I like the AI agent a lot for generating charts. I also like having the journey view, as it allows me to see the full user journey. As a new Amplitude Analytics user, making charts and views isn't always intuitive for me. The AI agent helps by making the actual chart or helping me understand what certain views are showing.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

I think the marketing analytics could be improved. I feel like I often go outside of it to get what I want. There could be different views or a dashboard that we could customize.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude Analytics lets me see the full user journey and the AI agent helps generate charts, which is useful as I'm new and find chart creation not so intuitive.

**Official Response from Amanda Brush:**

> Hi Lisa,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. It’s great to hear that the AI-assisted charting and Journeys view are helping you get up to speed and understand the full customer path more quickly. We’re sorry Marketing Analytics hasn’t yet felt as complete or intuitive as you need; if helpful, Amplitude does offer customizable Marketing Analytics Views plus a library of marketing dashboard templates, and Ask Amplitude or Global Agent can also create charts from natural-language prompts. Thanks again for your review.

 ### 2. Reliable Support, Efficient Charting

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Raffaele N. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I find the support for Amplitude Analytics to be quite reliable and fast, which is very helpful. It is also efficient, which is great. I use the chart creation feature a lot, as well as the session replay tool. The session replay is particularly useful for understanding actual user behavior and spotting bugs.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

So sometimes on Firefox, it's a bit too slow. And the concept of course versus segmentation is not that clear. I would also love to extend the concept of course when creating a cord to a proper property that applied for longer than 365 days.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics for creating charts and dashboards to monitor revenues daily, track improvements, conversion rates, and user experience enhancements.

**Official Response from Amanda Brush:**

> Hi Raffaele,
Thanks so much for sharing this review. It’s great to hear you had a positive experience with support and that charting and Session Replay are helping you monitor performance and spot real user issues. We also hear your feedback on Firefox speed and cohort setup. That input helps us keep making the experience clearer and faster.

 ### 3. Efficient for Tracking Tickets, Needs Better Grouping

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Harry S. | Senior Customer Success Executive

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I like its ability to quickly find tickets and its big query language. It's really useful that it integrates across multiple different platforms, including Slack and HubSpot, creating a central source of truth. I think it's also quite easy to use, which is nice even though there could be functionality that could be improved.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Grouping tickets together seems to be a hassle. I feel like you can group things by who raised the ticket or who it's related to as a company field, but we don't have a way of easily grouping tickets to aggregate what's important for the business. It often operates in silos, and the tickets get treated individually, rather than realizing that there are six tickets that mean the same thing.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics for tracking tickets in the product team, helping us stay on top of tasks. It also assists with project management prioritization and integrates with platforms like Slack and HubSpot, providing a central source of truth.

 ### 4. Great for Dashboard Creation, Needs Better Metric Switching

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anton N.

**Reviewed Date:** February 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I like Amplitude Analytics' pretty nice UI, which makes it easier to view user sessions and identify points of friction in UI interactions as well as drop-off points in funnels. I also appreciate the communication it facilitates between engineering and product teams through features like shared dashboards and events. It's easy for engineers to come in and see the events they've created reported in the data tab, and add documentation to help explain when they are triggered. Having one centralized place for things like events and properties is particularly helpful.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Probably switching between different modes in analytics. It is tough to find out how to take a particular metric and switch it between median, average, sum, etc. or find out what it is currently filtering by. That has been a main point of contention for both engineering and product. Having an obvious toggle or interactive button somewhere that tells you how the big number across the top of the page is currently being calculated. Maybe on hover or something. Not sure. But when it just says '1.01' you have to look in many places to see what that number actually means initially.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude Analytics lets me view user sessions, see UI friction points, and drop-off in funnels. It provides centralized dashboards and events that enhance communication between engineering and product.

 ### 5. Fast Data Refreshes, But Finding Answers Takes Too Long

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I like how quickly the data can be refreshed.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

I wish it were easier to quickly find the answer to my data question. Earlier today I was looking for a user count by userID and region and it took me longer than I thought it should have.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping me see how many users are utilizing new features we release.

 ### 6. The Ultimate Analytics Tool for Understanding User Behavior

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dimanso P. | Desarrollador de Automatizaciones, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

The intuitive interface for building detailed conversion funnels and the powerful event-based tracking for user behavior analysis.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

The pricing model can be quite steep for smaller teams, and the learning curve for more advanced behavioral analytics can be challenging initially.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves our lack of visibility into user churn by providing granular tracking, which allows us to optimize our onboarding flow and increase overall retention.

 ### 7. Powerful Insights with Session Replay and Pathfinder

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

The insights that I can achive with Session Replay and Pathfinder

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

The insights that I receive from AMplitude IA are not só usefull, so I use Clauude with an Amplitude Integration

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I´m Product Manager so I´m always looking to solve user problems with data, and Amplitude helps me in this path. I like to see churn infos, user journey infos, user clicks in some cta...etc

 ### 8. Easy Setup and Custom Dashboards, But Limited Free Plan

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marijan D. | Internship, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I like how easy it is to set everything up in Amplitude Analytics. I also appreciate the ability to create custom dashboards, which creates a more customized experience for me.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

I hate that the dashboards are limited to 10 on the free plan.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics to collect product data, helping me understand how app users interact with my product and improve it based on these insights.

 ### 9. SQL-Free Analytics with Helpful Slack Community and Easy Dashboard Tracking

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

What I like most about Amplitude Analytics is that I can analyze and collect data without having to learn SQL or use other analytics tools.
Also you can integrate it with slack and get mails for dashboard to keep a track on your product
Amplitude has it's own community in Slack, so there I ask questions and get quick solutions from both managers and other amplitude users.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Everytime I change something on chart, it takes up some time to apply the change. Sometimes the tab stops to load (I use chrome) then I have to reboot it

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It provides better data literacy and visualization by its UI.
AI tools also exist, though haven't been helpful for me

 ### 10. Powerful event-based analytics for understanding in-app and mobile user behavior

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

What I like best: Amplitude Analytics is very strong for understanding user behavior through event-based tracking, funnels, and retention analysis. The insights are clear and actionable, and the visualizations make it easy to share findings across teams without heavy technical support.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

What I dislike: The platform has a steep learning curve, especially for new users, and requires careful event planning to be effective. Pricing can also become expensive as usage grows, and the interface can feel complex when using advanced features.
In addition, customer support can be slow or inconsistent at times, especially on lower-tier plans. Getting timely, in-depth help for complex issues can be challenging without premium support.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude Analytics helps track and analyze events in web and mobile apps, making it clear how users interact with specific features. This benefits me by showing which actions matter most, where users drop off, and how in-app behavior changes over time, so product decisions are based on real usage rather than assumptions.

 ### 11. Easy to Learn, Feature-Rich, and Worth the Time to Master

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

It's easy to learn, but hard to master. There a many features that take time to understand conceptually.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

The UI is sometimes a bit clunky and slow. There are a few minor bugs that reduce UX. It takes time to verify data correctness, because there is always a chance that the chart configuration is wrong.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us gain insights into feature adoption and, more broadly, how our product is being used. We then take action based on what we learn from those findings.

 ### 12. Varied, Easy-to-Read Charts with Helpful Comparative Insights

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Meenal G. | Connections Assistant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

The best thing about Amplitude is it's varied charts that makes the data too easy to understand such as line chart, bar chart or pie suitable as per the dashboard.

The precalculated percentage of difference in comparative charts is another reason that makes it great for analytical reports.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Sometimes, when I change the timerange from default to specific date, the line chart disappears and just a dot is displayed on the dashboard that makes the process tedious for monthly data analysis.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps immensely to gather information about the drop offs & quick scrolls of the articles that help us design our ecosystem according to the precise data.

 ### 13. Easy-to-Use, Fast Dashboards with Smooth Integrations

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

Easy to use, with a very good UX/UI for creating really good-looking dashboards. Reports load fast without issues, and it integrates smoothly with all of our other tools.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Pricing is too steep. Support can be genuinely troublesome at times. I’m still not sure about the AI implementation yet.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me create real-time dashboards so I can validate my most recent business ideas.

 ### 14. Powerful Data Analytics with Impressive Dashboards

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

Very powerful tool for data analytics overall -- there are plenty of features and functions and flexibility to take advantage of! I especially love the dashboards. The "Getting Started with Amplitude Analytics" course (videos + transcript + interactive walkthrough activities) was especially helpful to help me get familiar with the platform.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

There's definitely a learning curve when it comes to understanding how to navigate the platform and utilize/make the most of its (many) capabilities -- I've only touched the tip of the iceberg myself!

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was analyzing a dashboard created for one of our products (that began early last year). For my role (accounting-related), there are two dashboards that were particularly helpful as we needed to come up with an accrual estimate. One of the charts (a multi-line chart) on the dashboard showed the number of claims coming in each day, with a different-coloured line for each type of claim (e.g. damaged, lost, stolen). Another helpful chart to analyze for my use case was the one tracking the daily sum of reimbursements/refunds (i.e., approved claims) being paid out. For both charts, I was only interested in the total for each day (no need for separation by claim type), so I removed the "grouped by: claim_reason", which resulted in the chart that was most helpful for my purposes. Then, to get a cumulative total (just the sum from all claims, not the day-by-day breakdown) to date, I selected the "Bar chart" option. The date presets (e.g. "Last 30 days", "This quarter") and keyword options (e.g. "Between", "Last", "Since", "This") have also been incredibly useful for further refining of my searches (down to whatever specific period I am looking to analyze the data for).

 ### 15. User-Friendly, No-Code Tool with Strong Integrations

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rasa . | CPO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

It’s very user-friendly, and you don’t need to know any coding to get started. Since it’s one of the market leaders, it also offers integrations with other services, which makes it easier to fit into an existing workflow.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

It becomes laggy when working with larger data sets. For our company of seven people, the monthly price makes up a significant percentage of our overall monthly spend.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Anyone, in any role, can analyse data and produce clear, readable results that are easy to interpret.

 ### 16. Amplitude Makes Website Analytics Easy to Implement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sreekanth p. | Full-stack Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

We have been using amplitude to track out website analytics it is easy to implement the events in the code

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

As of now nothing. For beginners it is a steep learning curve

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude helps in viewing the analytics of our website including customer dropdown point etc

 ### 17. Insightful Analytics Tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kristaps R. | User Experience Consultant, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I really appreciate the flexibility of the configuration with Amplitude Analytics. We're using it alongside Segment, which lets us pass controlled and granular data into Amplitude. Setting up views has been great, and even though we're still in the POC stage, the results we've seen are strong and promising, providing us with exactly what we need.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Creation of the charts and filters in the dashboards is not as straightforward as it could be. There are some issues in learning curve on creating them properly. One of those was with the time period filters. It seems to kinda default on just the last few days, and we had some hiccups with filtering those. Then the other was when setting up and understanding our data structure, we were adding a variety of events, which we then later deleted. But in the reports, it was still showing up as a deleted unknown event. If it's deleted and unknown, it shouldn't show there. And there was really no way of taking it out from the report. So that was a hiccup.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude Analytics surfaces platform complexity and user interactions, helps create user cohorts, and identifies key groups and usage patterns, enhancing our understanding and focusing on value drivers and bottlenecks. As well as establishing user maturity curves.

 ### 18. Excellent Analytics & Support, But Pricing Limits Event Tracking

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Himanshu G. | Product & Marketing Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

Amplitude Analytics offers a wide range of charts, from basic to advanced, that address nearly all the needs you might have for product analytics. In addition, it provides effective data management tools like data alerts—which I find extremely useful—and data governance features that become especially valuable as your product grows in size and complexity. What truly stands out for me, though, is Amplitude’s customer support. Their team consistently provides thoughtful, well-reasoned responses and quickly grasps the issues I’m facing. It’s honestly the best support team I’ve ever encountered.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Amplitude Analytics' pricing model is determined by data volume, meaning that the more events you track, the higher the cost. This structure discourages teams from tracking additional events, even though product teams generally want to collect as much data as possible. In our organization, this has become a significant obstacle. We have often had to implement feature flags to control which events are tracked, allowing us to disable certain events if the volume becomes too high. I believe pricing should be based on the number of users instead, so organizations can freely instrument events without constantly worrying about escalating Amplitude costs.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude Analytics provides valuable insights into user behavior within our mobile apps, which is essential for enhancing our product. We have also used Amplitude to conduct AB tests, helping us optimize various stages of our product.

 ### 19. Powerful Dashboards, Needs More Proactive Insights

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Narendra Nath J.

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I like Amplitude Analytics for its ability to build various types of dashboards, such as funnel and conversion dashboards. It allows tracking user behavior in real time, offering features like viewing user sessions and heat maps. I appreciate being able to manage and analyze data over different time frames, like weekly, monthly, or daily data.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

I think there could be a better show of support on Amplitude Analytics, proactively giving us more data insights and helping us understand more about what users are doing. Also, if we have built some dashboards, adding some kind of triggers based on certain user activities would be really helpful. Additionally, there needs to be improvement on tracking the user sessions and replaying those sessions, as I think the replay session features hit and miss sometimes. It's also very difficult to get Amplitude Analytics data elsewhere; it would be great if we could export some of that data directly into some other platforms. Sometimes dashboards or feature names could be a bit tricky to understand because there are a lot of features.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude Analytics helps me track user behavior, check heat maps, and build funnel graphs. It lets me see conversion rates and actions performed daily, while allowing dashboard creation for real-time user tracking.

 ### 20. Exceptional Granular Analytics That Elevate B2B Marketing

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

The granularity of the funnel and cohort analysis is exceptional. In the B2B industry, the user journey from viewing market data to making a transaction is complex and long. Amplitude helps us pinpoint exactly where users drop off and understand why. The ability to drill down into specific user behaviors and create dynamic cohorts based on those actions helps us tailor our marketing campaigns more effectively than simple page-view based analytics tools.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

While the tool is powerful, the initial onboarding can be challenging for marketers accustomed to session-based tools like Google Analytics. Understanding the event-based model and property grouping requires a mindset shift. It takes time to train new team members to fully utilize advanced features like complex behavioral cohorts or predictive analysis without getting overwhelmed by the interface.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude helped us visualize the entire user path. We identified specific friction points in our sign-up and inquiry forms. By optimizing these steps based on data, we significantly increased our conversion rate for high-quality leads. It allows us to distinguish between casual browsers and serious procurement managers, enabling our sales team to focus on the right prospects.

 ### 21. Comprehensive Analytics with Room for Customization

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maryam B.

**Reviewed Date:** January 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

What I like the most about Amplitude Analytics is that it's everything in one platform. You can use it for data analysis and also to run A/B tests for both product and web. There's a wealth of data stored, and the integrations with tools like tag manager allow for a lot of flexibility with event implementation. I love that you can rename events, categorize them, and add descriptions, which makes it easier for the user to use. The tagging and implementation aspects are particularly beneficial. Additionally, the setup was easy and smooth, which I appreciated.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Some of the usability aspects can be improved, like having the option to increase the size of the legends on the charts for better readability. Also, more customization options for charts, dashboards, and other elements would be appreciated.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude Analytics is a great tool for data analytics, especially for looking at user journeys, analyzing website funnels, and running A/B experiments.

 ### 22. Easier Feature Change Evaluation, Still Early Days

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Caleb Christopher Y. | Agile Coach, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

It has made it much easier for our team to evaluate the effectiveness of the feature changes we’re putting into our product.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

So far, it has met our expectations; however, we’re still very early in our use of it.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us evaluate how the given features are being used as we ship them with our products.

**Official Response from Amanda Brush:**

> Hi Caleb,
Thanks for your review. Love hearing that Amplitude is helping your team quickly gauge the impact and adoption of new feature releases. Since you’re still early in your journey, totally understand reserving judgment. If you’re looking to accelerate your onboarding, Amplitude Academy has great bite‑size lessons to get more value fast; and once you’ve had more time with the product, we’d love it if you’d update your review with what’s working (and what isn’t).

 ### 23. User-Friendly UI but Steep Learning Curve

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sam W.

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I really value the self-serve analytics capability in Amplitude Analytics, which makes it accessible for product stakeholders who aren't deeply technical. I like that the platform is easy to use, and I'm particularly fond of the user interface, which enhances usability. The curated functionality for creating charts and reports is another highlight for me. There are several types of charts available, and the platform organizes chart manipulation in a way that's both well-organized and accessible to non-technical stakeholders.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Some product managers find Amplitude Analytics not as intuitive, especially for those who are less data savvy. I haven't found any good training material on how to best use Amplitude, so there is a bit of a learning curve for some people.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude Analytics offers a self-serve platform that's easy for product stakeholders, with a well-organized interface for creating charts and reports, making data accessible to non-technical stakeholders.

**Official Response from Amanda Brush:**

> Hi Sam, We love to hear that Amplitude Analytics helps your team access and explore data through self-serve charts and reports. We hear you on the learning curve for some product managers – we’re investing in clearer training paths and in-product guidance to make the experience more intuitive for a range of data comfort levels. If you haven’t already, check out the educational resources at Amplitude Academy at https://academy.amplitude.com/.

 ### 24. There is a lot to take advantage of with Amplitude

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jon G. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I think it’s pretty useful. We also use Mixpanel for event tracking because we were using it before Amplitude, but I find Amplitude easier to use and it has a lot more useful feature. The website is fast and pretty straightforward.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Maybe it is a new feature, but the global Agent keeps freezing my browser tab. I think creating surveys and some of the UI in the build section is a bit difficult to use without some practice.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We mostly use it for the onboarding, some surveys, and tracking user retention. It's nice to have this all-in-one place and we need to take advantage of it more.

**Official Response from Amanda Brush:**

> Hi Jon,

 ### 28. Flexible, Data-Driven Analytics with Room for UI Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Peter M.

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I like the flexible experimentation and feature flag capabilities, which are basically the same thing and work really well for us, to the point that it's embedded quite deeply into our product. I'm also increasingly a fan of the API and MCP server as we can leverage Amplitude Analytics data through AI and have AI build dashboards. The dashboards themselves are another great feature we use for disseminating results and justifying decisions.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

The UI is often laggy and I find it quite challenging to find an example of a specific event type. So overall, I'd say the UI could use some performance, navigation, and search improvements.

Amplitude Analytics assists in making informed feature decisions, optimizing onboarding workflows, enabling data-driven development, and supporting deep data analytics with its flexible experimentation and feature flag capabilities.

 ### 29. Powerful Analytics, Could Use Better Comparison Tools

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Waleed S. | Product Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I find the segmentation funnel charts incredibly useful, as they resolve many of my analysis questions. The event streaming feature offers real-time insights into user actions. I also appreciate the integration capabilities, especially the syncing with Snowflake, which serves both as a source and destination.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

I find it challenging that Amplitude does not provide much help in comparing data across different time periods. When analyzing the same funnel over two different periods, it can be difficult to understand why conversion rates might be high on one day and low on another. Amplitude doesn’t effectively clarify the distinctions in user behavior between these periods, which requires me to delve deeply into the data myself. This lack of guidance in solving the 'whys' behind different user patterns and behaviors is somewhat frustrating.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude solves the dilemma of tracking user interactions not captured by BI tools, enhancing understanding with real-time event visibility and segmenting funnel charts. It streamlines onboarding by showcasing events and properties, syncing data for deeper insights and improved conversion strategies.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Caterina A. | Co-founder

**Reviewed Date:** January 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I use Amplitude Analytics to track our main KPIs, and it gives me a clear picture of how my business is doing, especially when I want to understand adoption to influence my product roadmap or the funnel to improve our conversion. I find it easy to understand and broadly used, and sometimes the Ask Amplitude feature is useful.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

It's not always straightforward how to filter data, the data structure is not always shown with clarity. It's sometimes hard to understand how variables are linked. Also, I'd like to have a data table option that's much more flexible and straightforward. If I want to download raw data, sometimes it makes it difficult.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics to track our main KPIs, understand adoption for product roadmaps, and analyze the funnel for conversion improvements, giving me a clear picture of how my business is doing.

 ### 35. Great for Deep Analytics, But Takes Time to Learn

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mohd J. | Administrative Assistant, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

Once you get the hang of it, Amplitude is really powerful for understanding user behavior. It's perfect when you need to dig deep into how users interact with your app. The segmentation features are excellent - you can slice and dice your user data in so many ways to find patterns and insights. For complex analyses, it's exactly what we need. But very complicated to navigate - requires a lot of learning.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

It's definitely not the most intuitive tool. Even checking simple things like basic user behavior requires going through several steps, which can be frustrating when you just want a quick answer. There's a lot to learn before you can use it efficiently, and it can feel overwhelming at first.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Amplitude to track and understand how users navigate our app and what actions they take. The detailed insights help us make better product decisions based on actual user behavior rather than guessing. It's particularly useful for identifying which features work well and where users might be getting stuck.

 ### 36. Amplitude an excellent tool for Product Analytics

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rohan H. | Data Scientist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

At Coursera, our Data Science team frequently relies on Amplitude to track product launches, quickly perform root cause analyses, and gain insights into user behaviour. Amplitude stands out for its intuitive and user-friendly interface, while also enabling us to conduct a wide range of complex analyses with ease. The customer support is also very helpful and we have regular office hours setup for doubts. The tool is very easy to use and we use it almost everyday to draw insights from our users.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Amplitude has certain limitations when it comes to customizing charts and graphs. I also find that some of the more advanced features are difficult to locate, and at times, the menus and documentation can be confusing.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude enables us to effectively monitor product launches, quickly perform root cause analyses, and gain deeper insights into our users. As a result, the time we spend on any analysis is significantly reduced.

 ### 37. Easy Setup in Minutes and Great Event Tracking for Growth

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

Amplitude is easy to set up in minutes and helps track all the events useful for growth

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

A bit complicated to navigate. I dislike that the home screen is an AI agent since I don't think it's really good at answering questions. If it could build reports for me or actually interact with the platform it would be good.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm able to track users and figure out what features they use most to provide best value to my users

 ### 38. Powerful Funnel & Behavioural Analytics, but Charting and Complex Queries Take Workarounds

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

The ability to quickly build funnels and segmentation without needing SQL, and the depth of behavioural analytics for understanding how users move through a product.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

The chart-building UI can be unintuitive at first, and querying more complex datasets often requires workarounds rather than straightforward SQL access.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gives our CRM and lifecycle team a reliable source of truth for user behaviour, helping us size audiences, validate Braze segments, and make evidence-based decisions on campaign targeting and messaging strategy.

**Official Response from Amanda Brush:**

> Using behavioral analytics to size audiences and validate Braze segments is a strong use case, and I'm glad the no-SQL funnel building is making that accessible for your lifecycle team. The chart UI learning curve and needing workarounds for complex queries are fair gaps. If you haven't already, support.amplitude.com is worth a visit on the query side — there may be approaches that reduce some of that friction.

 ### 39. Powerful Product Analytics Platform That Drives Data-Driven Decisions

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mayuresh H. | Account Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

Amplitude stands out for its intuitive user interface and powerful product analytics capabilities. The ability to easily track user behavior, build cohorts, and visualize funnels helps in uncovering actionable insights quickly. Features like behavioral cohorts, retention analysis, and pathfinder reports make it easy to understand how users interact with a product and identify opportunities for growth. The platform’s real-time analytics and event segmentation are particularly useful for making fast, informed decisions. Additionally, the integrations with tools like Segment, Snowflake, and marketing platforms allow for seamless workflows across the analytics stack.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

While Amplitude is feature-rich, it can feel a bit overwhelming for beginners due to its advanced capabilities. Setting up proper event tracking requires careful planning and technical involvement, which might be challenging for non-technical teams. The free plan is generous, but some of the most powerful features (like advanced governance, predictive analytics, and deep integrations) are only available in higher-tier plans, which may not be affordable for startups or smaller teams.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude helps us understand user behavior at a granular level, which was previously a big challenge. Instead of relying on guesswork, we can now track the complete customer journey, identify drop-off points in funnels, and analyze which features drive engagement or retention.

It also solves the problem of siloed data by bringing behavioral, product, and growth analytics into one platform. This has benefited us by enabling data-driven product decisions, better personalization, and higher customer retention. With clear visibility into user actions, we can prioritize product improvements, optimize marketing campaigns, and ultimately drive growth with confidence.

 ### 40. Powerful self-serve product analytics that actually gets used

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mudit k. | Business analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

It is easy to get real answers without waiting on the data team. Funnels, retention and path analysis feel natural and I can go from a hunch to a chart in minutes. Cohorts are my favorite part because I define a segment once and reuse it across reports and the dashbaord. For ease of use I would call it simple enough for PMs and marketers after a short ramp, but still powerful when you need to dig in.
For ease of implementation we added the web snippet and mobile SDKs and instrumented our core events in a single sprint. The tracking plan and event dictionary helped us avoid messy names. Docs were clear and the sample code saved us hours.
For customer support our CSM actually follows up, not just a bot. Tickets get a same day reply most of the time and the office hours were super helpful during onboarding. I wish some replies were less templated, but overall they are responsive and kind.
For frequency of use I am in Amplitude almost every day. I check a few core dashboards in the morning, then build ad hoc funnels a couple times a week. Leadership reviews the weekly product report straight from Amplitude links, which keeps us aligned.
For ease of integration it plays nicely with our CDP and warehouse. We send cohorts to our messaging tool, share charts to Slack, and backfill data from the warehouse without drama. Setting up permissions across spaces was a bit wierd at first, but once we set a convention it stuck.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

There is a learning curve once you move past the basics. Advanced formulas and very specific cohort logic take practice and I still trip over it ocassionally. If you rush the event schema you will spend time on cleanup later, so plan that upfront. The interface can feel busy and sometimes I forget where a chart was saved. Pricing is fair but can grow with event volume, so governance and archival matter. Export options could be a little more flexible. None of these are deal breakers. Overall I would definately reccommend it for teams that want trustworthy product analytics that people actually use.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a business analyst, the biggest problem Amplitude solves for us is turning messy product behavior into clear, trustworthy insigts that anyone on the team can use. Before, I spent hours writing SQL and reconciling dueling numbers from different tools. Now we have one place to explore the journey from first touch to retention, and I can answer most questions in minutes instead of days.

It closes our self serve gap. Product managers, designers and even support leads can build funnels and retention views on their own, so I am not a bottleneck anymore. That speed shows up in real work. We spot where users drop off, build a cohort right from that step, and send it to marketing or in app messaging. The loop from finding a problem to acting on it is much shorter.

Amplitude also fixes our definition drift. The tracking plan and event dictionary force us to agree on names and properties. That sounds boring, but it means we finally have one source of truth for activation, engagement and upgrade. Execs look at the same dashbaords we do, which reduces the debate and focuses us on the decision.

For prioritizaiton, the impact analysis is gold. I can slice usage by persona, plan tier or region and show which features actually drive repeat visits and revenue proxy metrics. That makes roadmap talks way less opinion driven. When we ship, I use cohorts and baseline retention to show if a change really moved the needle or if it was just noise.

Integrations help too. We bring in warehouse attributes, backfilled when needed, and send audiences back out to our messaging tools. That keeps our campaigns aligned with real product behavior, not just guesswork.

Net benefit is faster cycle time, fewer rework loops, and clearer accountability. I spend less time pulling data and more time explaining what it means. Even with the ocassional learning curve and a UI that can feel busy, the day to day value is obvious. It helps our team make better decisions, quicker, and with confidence that the numbers are right.

 ### 41. Powerful analytics platform with room for usability improvements

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jay J. | Comercializador de adquisición de usuarios, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

Amplitude makes it incredibly easy to analyze user behavior across our app and break it down into meaningful segments. The ability to create custom cohorts, run funnel analyses, and track retention over time gives us actionable insights we can use to optimize both marketing and product strategy. I especially like the flexibility of dashboards, how quickly queries run compared to other tools, and the integration options with our existing marketing stack. It’s become a central tool for our growth experiments and data-driven decision-making

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

While powerful, Amplitude can feel overwhelming for newer team members. Some features require a learning curve, and occasionally the UI feels less intuitive than it could be — especially when managing complex dashboards or advanced computed properties. Pricing at scale can also become a concern for smaller teams, and we’ve found that some integrations require additional setup or support. Overall, nothing is a dealbreaker, but streamlining the UX and making onboarding smoother would make it even better.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude helps us centralize and understand user behavior data across our app, which previously was fragmented and hard to analyze. By enabling us to build funnels, retention cohorts, and segmentation by demographics or behaviors, it solves the problem of not knowing why users are dropping off or which features drive engagement. This has directly benefited us by improving campaign targeting, optimizing onboarding flows, and validating product experiments faster. The visibility into user journeys also helps align product, marketing, and leadership teams around a single source of truth, which speeds up decision-making and improves ROI on our initiatives.

 ### 42. Super Friendly UI and Live Events Make It Easy to Use

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

The UI is super friendly, it’s easy to use, and I love the live events feature.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

It feels hard to keep content tidy. There are only a few prompts for organisation, and it’s often difficult to tell who has access to what. I’d also like a separate space for ad hoc data pulls (like a sandbox) that doesn’t need to be saved to my space or be visible to everyone.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves our product analytics and customer journey tracking needs. We also use it to understand referral sources and attribution. It makes it really easy to see where a customer came from, trace their path back through the journey, and understand why our system has assigned certain fields to that customer.

 ### 43. Usecase of amplitude

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Deepanshu J. | Software engineer 2 ( Backend ), Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

It is in general easy to use especially the UI is very clean
Ease of integration with the backend is quite good and easy as well

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Features are kind of not straight forward, like I wanted to search old events (and see their content and fields), I still do not know where to find those, so to test I went to the live events page and then triggered the event everytime

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us tracking the user event from the frontend side, which includes user clicks to understand the user behaviour and interactions
From the Backend (my work) mostly we send segment events to track analytics like payments/subscriptions. For eg we released a new company cancel faeture and tracked how it performed via the graphs and dashboard we created on Amplitude and was it above our expected level else we might think about rolling back that feature.
In other words it also helps us track feature engagement and to know if the feeature is performing good or not.

 ### 44. Intuitive and Effective, but with Visualization Limitations

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Maritime | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I really like the simplicity of Amplitude Analytics. It is truly very intuitive and helps a lot, as I can access my dashboards, each one segmented for what I need.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

I think you could improve, for example, the visualization of results when we are creating graphs or column charts. Because I can only see the top 30, and in the end, what I want is to see all the results. To be able to compare much more easily.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics to build a product foundation that didn't exist before in my company. It allows me to understand events with a simpler structure and create intuitive charts, quickly resolving questions.

 ### 45. Powerful analytics with room for UI and documentation improvements

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vishal A. | Senior Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

Amplitude provides a robust set of features that are essential for customer success, PLG tracking, and data-driven product decisions. I especially like the ability to create custom charts and run in-depth analyses, which I’ve found to be among the best in the market. The integrations with platforms like Segment are smooth and well-documented, making it easier to fit Amplitude into our existing stack. These capabilities allow us to double down on what customers love while identifying areas for product improvement.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

The sidebar navigation isn’t very intuitive, the hamburger menu hides key features, and it can be difficult to quickly access live or recent data compared to tools like Datadog. A “quick actions” section would make exploration much faster. While documentation is helpful, it could be enhanced with more video demos or SDK tooling walkthroughs. Adding AI-powered assistants or guided agents for integration could also significantly reduce the learning curve and setup effort.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude helps us understand user behavior at a very granular level, which is critical for improving product adoption and customer retention. By tracking product usage patterns, funnels, and cohorts, we’re able to identify which features drive the most value and double down on them. It also highlights friction points in the user journey so we can proactively address churn risks (session replays helps a lot here). For a PLG business model, this visibility is invaluable - our product, marketing, and success teams align better on decisions, leading to faster iteration, more customer-loved features, and ultimately higher revenue growth.

 ### 46. User-Friendly with Robust Analytics but Pricey

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anastasia R. | Analytics Engineer

**Reviewed Date:** December 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I like that Amplitude Analytics is user-friendly and offers custom charts like retention ON, conversion windows, and ARPU. It helps me build fast dashboards with detailed segmentation. I love the possibility to create and use cohorts. The initial setup was quite easy, especially with the help of Amplitude Academy and regular problem-solving webinars.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

I'm not a fan of the SQL-based queries in Amplitude Analytics. It's a big disadvantage for us not to be able to calculate some numbers per user per day. Sometimes it feels like a big missing part. Also, I find it quite expensive and it lacks the ability to do custom formulas.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics to analyze our mobile app, building fast dashboards with detailed segmentation and using cohorts. It's user-friendly with custom charts for retention, conversion, and ARPU.

**Official Response from Amanda Brush:**

> Hi Alan,
Thanks so much for taking the time to share your feedback. It’s great to hear Amplitude is helping you understand user behavior and you like the additional context the AI provides. We also hear that more guidance around taxonomy and planning would make the experience better - that kind of feedback really helps us improve.

 ### 50. Insightful Analytics, Room for Dashboard Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashley L.

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I enjoy watching a full user session to see how users navigate between different features on our platform, which helps me understand where drop-offs might occur. This feature also allows me to see where users click and what they do, which is crucial for improving the user experience and determining where they spend the most time.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

I find trouble in creating my own dashboards or reports based on user session experiences. I've had trouble building those dashboards.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics to review user insights into time spent on our platform and feature adoption, helping us understand gaps and improve user experience by identifying where users drop off and what features they engage with.
