You do find some free good shows which is grateful, the support for not a major city like calgary is great. I do see filters which is great and a lot of events in calgary, I used it to join a free event in the past and it has been great beer friends experience. It is a good app if you are new to Calgary and if you want to make some friends and grow your circle. It is frustrating that when you click on an event, it takes you to the next page and then if you need to buy tickets it is another page. The tickets are managed by third party, example if there is a show for Jaspreet Sigh that I need to book, it goes through a non refundable portal for University of Calgary. The site is not designed perfect and seems a bit off like some places you see perfect squares and the others have rounded corners. It might be confusing to use the site. You may not like as it might not give you a cookie popup and still take in your information for location, say if you are in calgary it already knows that, scary! It has lot of ads. What I like best about AllEvents, is the personal Website feature. Due to All events, I was able to create my own website where I can display my events. I also enjoy the seamless payment feature, where as soon as a Customer books or buys a ticket to your event, payment is processed straight through stripe and into your account in minutes. So far, I am bit disappointed by their paid promotion. I have purchased the basic promotion for my Tarot and Astrology Event, where I can get some 1:1 bookings. I prolonged it for two months, so I am waiting and being patient. However, It has been two weeks and still not one booking. I know my prices are not expensive, compared to market. I cannot grow without marketing, so I am a bit disappointed so far, simply because they were very positive about ticket sales and their promo system and how well results were received by customers.
