Egencia is really all about a streamlined platform to optimize travel bookings and budget control. It was very easy to implement as you are guided through the process by multiple experienced Egencia gurus. The platform is user friendly and I like that you can book an entire trip, from flight to car to hotel so seamlessly while getting alerts about policy so that employees can make compliant decisions or make cases for out of policy trips and get approval before booking. Not a lot of downside here, but there are almost too many features to try to understand in a relatively quick implementation period. We're still not using the platform to its fullest, but I hope in time we will learn more about it and make more use of all its features, including the analytics. I have a problem with the pricing discrepancy between Egencia and airline websites. Sometimes my travelers find tickets listed on Egencia, but when they check the airline's website, the same tickets are available for a little bit cheaper.
