With in the past month, I booked flights for two business trips only to find out the same day or week prior that the booking never went through. When I inquired as to why the booking hadn't gone through the Egencia agent replied that they were not sure. Since we joined Egencia PAL doesn't recognize Stantec as a longstanding Corporate Client, and we have no choice but to book the cheapest fair. (we typically have to check in a bag because of the equipment we need, and we regularly have to reschedule our travel on short notice.) This Needs To Get Resolved. Also it's difficult / impossible to book independent rural accommodations on Egencia **What problems is Egencia by Amex GBT solving and how is that benefiting you?** For the most part Egencia is a simple "one stop shop" for booking our corporate travel. Most minor and routine issues get resolved promptly. BUT, I won't be able to give you "top marks" until you get the issues resolved with PAL Airlines. Since we joined Egencia, PAL doesn't recognize Stantec as a longstanding Corporate Client, and we have no choice but to book the cheapest fair. Egencia also helps us know where our employees are when traveling. Reporting is key as well, you can customize reports to include the data you want. We were recently given a new Account Manager, she has been super helpful with finding areas of savings or programs we can join for savings/points. **What do you dislike about Egencia by Amex GBT?** My dislike is more of an airlines issue rather than Egencia. we have a ton of cancelled travel which results in unused tickets (most non-refundable) so then the traveller has a credit, if that person doesn't have any upcoming travel, then I have to see if someone else in the company can use the credit before it's expiry, sometimes even if you have all the information needed and you have the other person's travel ready to pay for, there's still snags/red tape trying to use the credit. **What problems is Egencia by Amex GBT solving and how is that benefiting you?** One resource for company travel, visibility to employees location when traveling for the organization, and expense management. **Official Response from Social Team:** > Hi Jennifer, Thank you for the review.
