Everyone once in a while you'll need something that the platform doesn't support, however if you submit feedback they'll usually try to find you a work-around or implement the feature in future updates. **What problems is Ambition solving and how is that benefiting you?** Before ambition, managers and reps alike had to wait until the next day to get their activity and progress towards goals. With product integrations to Slack, Ambition can alert teams to rep success metrics, so reps can celebrate each other's wins. **What do you dislike about Ambition?** There are a few product limitations with competitions that minimize the impact of competitions over time. However, the ambition team is growing quickly and always considers customer product feedback, so I'm confident the product will continue to grow in capabilities and investments! **Recommendations to others considering Ambition:** Encourage sales reps to build out their profiles by adding anthems and gifs, it allows for reps to incorporate their personalities! **What problems is Ambition solving and how is that benefiting you?** The biggest problem we solve is giving reps a single source of truth for their output and team metrics. This gives our remote team access to what top performers are doing day to day while helping managers keep reps honest. ### 12. Other platforms often are very coding intensive, so it falls to CRM administrators to program the platform, which results in added work for them and longer turnaround time for contests and leaderboards. **What do you dislike about Ambition?** Ambition does not store data platform, so when we update records in CRM which Ambition has already counted, Ambition isn't always triggered to count metrics post hoc. We can avoid this with better planning, which is our fault as clients, but it makes it difficult to be flexible with metrics and contests as business functions and initiatives change. **What problems is Ambition solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our sales team has much better insight into their progress to goals, and their managers are better able to check in on the reps' productivity. Different managers and teams within the sales department can customize their leaderboards and contests, cutting out the need for the analytics team to serve as a middle man for reporting on each team individually. ### 13. I like how I can compare myself to my coworkers. We also have our Spiffs running through ambition and you can see where you stand to ensure you win! (or try at least) All the metrics are on there and it's super easy to fill in that info for my weekly reviews. I can also easily track some specific KPIs and compare how I've been improving day to day week to week month to month or quarter to quarter. **What do you dislike about Ambition?** I've been using it for just about two years and I love it! The one thing I could think of, not sure if I just don't know where to go to do this, is to be able to easily compare myself amoungst people in my same role as opposed to the whole team. **Recommendations to others considering Ambition:** It's a great program for tracking activity and goals. Also awesome for tracking competitions. Make sure you use all the features like tracking activity, and tracking competitions within your team. I always have Ambition pulled up in the background to see how my activity is pacing througout the day. The only other thing is that there are some customizations I would like to incorporate in specific contests, workflows, and goal setting that Ambition has taken under advisement. For example, goal-setting milestones can only be set in 25% achievement increments. **What problems is Ambition solving and how is that benefiting you?** Making contests and incentives an integral part of our culture and how we get work done. Before Ambition, my Managers were burdened with contest creation and reporting results in a way that generated excitement and motivation. Specific to seeing the heads up view when I start my day, I know exactly what I'm going to be doing each day to help me hit my performance goals. Being able to quickyl search for my colleagues is a big plus, because then I can see where they stand and work towards overcoming their progress in any given day. It also allows me to track organization Spiffs which is great to help me earn more commission at the organization for which I work. Being able to integrate with Slack is huge as it allows me to upload my own personal GIF and YouTube video for when an automatic post about a new sale goes in the Slack channel. This level of awareness/collaboration is huge and I greatly appreciate being able to stay informed about my progress towards goals, etc. **What do you dislike about Ambition?** Automatic updates can be slow. That's about it. There is nothing that does not work for me; in fact, the program is quite reliable, and I don't necessarily see many areas to improve. The only small thing I could think of recommending would be the ability to save METRIC DASHBOARDS, as right now, as soon as you leave the screen with metrics, the metrics you've chosen disappear, and you have to add them again. **Recommendations to others considering Ambition:** Set up competitions and be sure to make them fun for your team. Understanding KPI's makes it way easier to hit your targets/collaborate as a team. **What problems is Ambition solving and how is that benefiting you?** Transparency around team member performance, Ambition makes this easy. Quota is the ultimate goal - but the smalls win every day are the building blocks to get them there and this keeps them on track throughout. Workflow/triggers are 10/10. The coaching check-ins have changed my 1:1s completely. The amount of time I save because Ambition auto-pulls the activity metrics and quota attainment to date is UNREAL. I cannot believe I used to manly pull that for every single rep every week. That's hours back in my day. Other benefit being that everything is formally documented.
