I am writing to you today to express my enthusiasm for Amazon WorkMail. As an avid user, I have found that this platform offers a multitude of benefits that make it stand out from other email services. First and foremost, Amazon WorkMail offers exceptional security features. The platform is fully compliant with industry standards and regulations, such as HIPAA and SOC2, which gives me peace of mind knowing that my emails and attachments are protected. In addition, Amazon WorkMail also offers great flexibility and scalability. I can easily add or remove users as my team grows and I can also use it with my own domain. This makes it easy for me to manage and maintain my email service. Another aspect that I appreciate about Amazon WorkMail is its user-friendly interface. The platform is easy to navigate and has a clean and modern design, which makes it easy for me to stay organized and on top of my emails. Finally, Amazon WorkMail also integrates seamlessly with other Amazon Web Services, such as Amazon S3 and Amazon WorkDocs. This allows me to easily share and collaborate on documents with my team. What do you dislike about Amazon WorkMail? While I do appreciate some aspects of the platform, I have encountered several issues that have caused me dissatisfaction. First and foremost, I have experienced poor customer support from Amazon WorkMail. I have had to wait for long periods of time to receive assistance with technical issues and the solutions provided were often not effective. Additionally, I have found that the platform's search functionality is lacking. It can be difficult to find specific emails or attachments, and the search results are not always relevant. Furthermore, I have found that Amazon WorkMail can be slow and unresponsive at times. This has caused delays in my work and has been a source of frustration. Another aspect that i dislike is the pricing, the cost of the platform can be expensive for small businesses or for personal use. I understand that these issues may not be applicable to everyone, but I wanted to bring them to your attention as they have greatly impacted my experience with Amazon WorkMail. Recommendations to others considering Amazon WorkMail: Don't use quick configuration - it will create MailDirectory by default. It is not possible to use it for SSO. Use Simple directory at least. "Great, straightforward business mail service" 4/5 What do you like best about Amazon WorkMail? There's very little complexity yet plenty of functionality. If you use Route53 the DNS setup is simple and support for dmarc and SPF taken care of easily. Add journalling at no cost, various email flow tools, nifty mobile device management and we found the spam filters excellent. Set-up and use of Outlook as the client was good too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Amazon WorkMail? The web client is a bit clunky, perhaps no more than others I guess and it is functional. The biggest challenge is that you can get the Exchange equivalent for the same price. I prefer Workmail, but it might be hard to justify why you would not use the de facto standard.
