What do you like best about Amazon Simple Notification Service (SNS)?

The AWS SNS service is highly efficient and easily configurable service, I mainly using it for sending push notifications to iOS and Android devices through APNS and GCM. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There is this internal bug which rarely i face and that is error 500 when i try to publish on one of endpoint but its negligible, except that i dont see any issue and the great thing is it comes with CloudWach service for free so i can track down any issues while sending notifications to end user. What problems is Amazon Simple Notification Service (SNS) solving and how is that benefiting you?

I am using it for sending push notification to the iOs and Android users and i found it interesting and never thought about any alternative service instead. What do you like best about Amazon Simple Notification Service (SNS)?

AWS SNS is easy to use and easy to integrate. It is a pretty fast, reliable, and efficient service of AWS. It allows usage of webhooks which makes it much for beneficial. It also allows sending SMS to our end users with logging and monitoring, which makes AWS SNS one of the best services in its domain. Being managed by Amazon Web Services themselves indicates that it will have nearly zero downtime. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Setting up AWS SNS for the first time can be a bit complex thing. For SMS, they should clearly indicate the message type; sometimes the cost could be higher if you do not set it up properly. Works great if you are going to be working in the AWS ecosystem, and willing to adapt to some of their principals, but if your want to be able to customize it to very fine detail level, it might not be the right choice.
