Amazon Redshift, only for Amazon **Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2016 **What do you like best about Amazon Redshift?** It offers what most other NoSQL databases offer, schema-less data storage. It has built in JSON handling and so much integration with the AWS stack. You can easily setup s3 data stores and easily deploy servers on the AWS platform. Scalability is also a breeze because you can spin up another instance and quickly expand your data offering. Basically it plays nice with the AWS ecosphere and is set up to make the integration seamless. Also it has file integration from s3, I can use it as a document store. **What do you dislike about Amazon Redshift?** It's only on AWS. That's why I can't really recommend this product unless you know you're going to stay on AWS forever. It really offers no differentiation from any other noSQL store and in fact has less features and reliability over most of the tried and true products in use today.
