"Great for AWS Integration, but Limited in Advanced Analytics & Filtering"
What do you like best about Amazon QuickSight?

It integrates smoothly with AWS services, and the SPICE engine make it easy to connect and fast to execute. Implementing dashboards on top of Redshift with QuickSight is really easy. I also value RLS which makes it easier to manage permissions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amazon QuickSight?

It also lacks advanced analytics, flexible filtering options, and deeper customization. When you encounter a problem, it is terribly hard to find a solution. Online guides are not detailed enough, and amazon community forums don’t provide much information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A very insightful and encapturing experience."
What do you like best about Amazon QuickSight?

I really loved the dashboard gallery, how it is organized and how each dashboard is described with the right topic to enable viewers who are interested in them to view wihtout losing interest.

I also love the variety of features provided that are available to potential customers and the customer enablement section that offers training and certification for persons interested. Overall, i would definitely recommend to anyone interested in pursuing a career in Cloud computing or any tech related role. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amazon QuickSight?

I haven't really used it long enough to find any disadvantages. So, at this moment, I have none. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple, Smart, and Super Quick Insights!"
What do you like best about Amazon QuickSight?

I like how easy it is to turn raw data into clean, interactive dashboards without needing too much technical knowledge. It’s fast, user-friendly, and works well even with large datasets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amazon QuickSight?

Sometimes the customization options for visuals feel a bit limited compared to other tools. It would be nice to have more flexibility with charts and layout designs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Visualization Tool with Room for Smoother User Experience"
What do you like best about Amazon QuickSight?

One of the best things about Amazon QuickSight is how perfectly it integrates with other AWS services. If you're already in the AWS ecosystem, getting started is fairly straightforward, and data sources like Redshift, S3, RDS, and Athena connect easily. The performance with SPICE is impressive, allowing for fast querying and snappy dashboards even with large datasets. The visuals themselves are modern, clean, and interactive. I like the ability to build dashboards that are not only informative but also visually appealing without too much effort. The embedding capabilities are a major plus for integrating dashboards into internal applications. Cost-wise, the pay-per-session model is also smart, especially for organizations looking to scale without overpaying for infrequent users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amazon QuickSight?

The user interface could be more intuitive. There’s a learning curve, especially for new users or non-technical stakeholders who aren’t familiar with AWS products. Some simple actions, like formatting visuals, adjusting filters, or customizing dashboard layout, take more clicks or steps than you’d expect. Documentation has improved but can still feel fragmented at times. Another downside is the limited customization of visuals compared to other BI tools like Tableau or Power BI. While it covers the basics well, power users might find the chart types and formatting options a bit restrictive. Also, support for more advanced calculated fields and data transformation within QuickSight is still evolving and sometimes requires working around with pre-processed data. "Overall i like it"
What do you like best about Amazon QuickSight?

It connects really well with other AWS tools we use, and it’s super fast when using SPICE. I also like that we don’t have to manage any servers; it just works. I haven't used much customer support, as docs are helpful. The features cover most of the needs but aren't super advanced. It is easy to integrate and implement with other AWS stuff. I use it a few times in a month Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amazon QuickSight?

The visuals feel a bit limited, and it’s not the most beginner-friendly if you're new to AWS. Live queries can lag a little too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Helpful tool to create your visualizations for tons of data"
What do you like best about Amazon QuickSight?

UI to create custom datasets with different data sources. Also, if you already handle the DB and infrastructure with AWS services, it is easier to get data tables and ingest the data. SPICE feature is great if you are looking for ways to reduce infrastructure cost while performing queries becasue you can have snapshots of the data at a required frequency. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amazon QuickSight?

Native multi language feature is not available though, not even an AI-generated translation of my analysis and dashboards are available Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amazon QuickSight?

Learning Curve at First: Even though it’s beginner-friendly, some parts (like calculated fields or dataset joins) take a little time to understand.

Limited Customization in Some Visuals: Compared to tools like Tableau or Power BI, there are slightly fewer customization options for advanced users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
