As for my experience with QuickSight – the interface was very intuitive. That allowed me and my colleagues to interact with plenty of data that we had in our AWS ecosystem – which was very helpful and saved us a lot of headaches. **What do you dislike about Amazon QuickSight?** At first yes, I did get the feeling that there is a lack of avenues for dashboard personalization, but the longer that I stayed with the system, the more I realized that the vast majority of our requirements can be satisfied with the provided templates. It occasionally slows down, likely due to real-time indexing after a refresh, but improves with subsequent filtering. **What do you dislike about Amazon QuickSight?** The dashboards don't have a traditional "data model" like in PowerBI. Instead, they’re structured more like a large pivot table, typically using one or more large tables without any joins between them. **What problems is Amazon QuickSight solving and how is that benefiting you?** Designing a simple dashboard is straightforward. If you just need to create tables, graphs, and add filters (especially with a single tab), it’s easy—assuming the dataset is well-structured. The mapping features are intuitive and user-friendly. Readers can perform tasks like sorting, drilling down, and drilling up with ease. These features are simple to set up and, in my opinion, easier to implement here than in PowerBI. ### 32. Using SPICE data can be load into memory and reports and dashboards can take the data from SPICE instead of hitting the data source again. To build a single view of customer, the data is stored in RDS. Utilizing QuickSight , multiple analysis have been created and presented as a Customer 360 dashboard.
