Amazon Macie is a security service that uses machine learning to automatically discover, classify, and protect sensitive data in AWS. Amazon Macie recognizes sensitive data such as personally identifiable information (PII) or intellectual property, and provides you with dashboards and alerts that give visibility into how this data is being accessed or moved.

We were looking for security for AWS and signed up for AMacie. It was supposed to be a solution that worked 

**What do you like best about Amazon Macie?**

It was reasonably priced and was easy to deploy. 

**What do you dislike about Amazon Macie?**

It did not supply the needed security and was not as complete as was described 

**Recommendations to others considering Amazon Macie:**

I would look elsewhere for your security needs

Our company is using Amazon Macie to better secure our clients data and do a better job of ensuring we become a one stop shop for their data needs.

**What do you like best about Amazon Macie?**

Not sure yet.  Need more time to evaluate.  The idea of the service is interesting to me.

**What do you dislike about Amazon Macie?**

Hard to quantify the impacts the service has on our business right now.

**Recommendations to others considering Amazon Macie:**

Definitely check to see how this product fits business development goals.

You can use needed software everywhere..

**What do you dislike about Amazon Macie?**

It is not user-friendly and it is expensive.
