A great way to implement distributed storage between different machines and avoid the hassle of managing the replication and the resources. It is a good way of storing shared information between ephemeral instances. The service is really easy to setup, and can autoscale in size and speed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Amazon Elastic File System (Amazon EFS)? It's a little pricey for big storage needs, but the price was simplified and improved from the first time the service launched. You have to be careful with the user ids used by each machine, but if you are using it within the same Autoscaling group to share data between instances with the same AMI image you won't have any problems.
