"Great Service for file management in cloud." 4.5/5 What do you like best about Amazon Elastic File System (Amazon EFS)? There are some great features of the elastic file system which I want to highlight: EFS is a very simple elastic file system over the cloud. It is set and forget architecture means you can just do the setting efforts for one time and then use it. It is easy to create and mount the file system on ec2 machines. It uses NFS protocol. It is built to scale as the demand, when you need more space it is scaleable, so you can put petabytes of data and it wont affect your application that is using the files. Very simple interface from where you can manage your EFS drive. It provides shared file system so your ec2 can share a single EFS. Different classes are available to choose as per need/ demand. It solves the problem of growing the EBS volumes and sharing the single file system and data across multiple instances. With EBS we pay for the storage we use. Amazon EFS works with EC2 instances in Multi-AZ and it's highly available & scalable. Users can control incoming flow to EFS by using security groups. It's compatible with Linux-based AMI. We can have 1000s of concurrent NFS clients with 10 GB throughput. Performance and Throughput modes are available in Amazon EFS for latency-sensitive, highly parallel data processing use cases. This usually requires an understanding of not only a service like EFS but the services around it. There are many resources online to be able to learn how to effectively implement cloud services. As more and more workloads have moved to the cloud it's become easier to expand storage, memory, processor power and other resources as needed. EFS will allow storage containers up to 48TB. It offers a great advantage over the management of multiple servers, the advanced management of files to download and upload. Traffic management and calls to web services hosted in different compartments. The SAI of the AWS goes further and the problems of implementation are in charge, leaving only the capacity of the application to the users. Products such as EC2 and S3 are used for active file management, but do not allow the freedom of the infrastructure that AWS Elastic File System allows. We only focus on application applications for implementations and simple administration when we publish the versions on the server. AWS Elastic File System is extremely fast. At the time of the implementations, the application allows us to build a set of tools and administration of bases for the administration and storage of files. Since 1TB (usually the space needed) exceeds 300USD. Therefore, currently the most commercial product called S3 allows a similar storage at a very low price, clear with some observed disadvantages.
